"The overall experience was truly awful. Although it's officially rated as a four-star hotel, the actual experience felt no better than a budget motel. We had to wait 20 minutes for the elevator every day; with so many high-floor rooms, there were simply not enough elevators. The breakfast selection was plentiful, but the quality was very poor. Breakfast was included for two, but our child, being over 140cm, was charged an extra 30 RMB for breakfast on the first day. On the second day, no one in my family was willing to eat the hotel's breakfast. We'd rather go out for a bowl of lamb noodle soup, which cost just over 30 RMB but was infinitely better than the hotel's offering. I will definitely not book this hotel again on my next trip to Xingyi."

"The service was excellent. The hotel car picked us up at the airport as soon as we got off the plane. We also upgraded our room to a larger terrace. Xingyi wasn't hot at all at night, so it was very comfortable to sit and chat with my family while enjoying the breeze. The new hotel is very clean and the environment is very good. The only inconvenience is that it is a bit far from the city center, so there aren't many restaurants."
