Hotel near Perimeter of Haikou Airport/Mission Hill/East Coast,Haikou

This is my second stay at the Meilan Airport Hotel. I checked in a night early from Lingshui because I had an early morning flight from Haikou to Singapore. **Service:** The hotel's airport shuttle starts at 4:30 AM. I took the 5 AM shuttle to T2, which was very convenient. My 7:30 AM flight meant I didn't have to rush to the airport too early. **Environment:** The hotel has many rooms and a 'U' shaped corridor. The room I got was a good distance from the elevator. It's also not far to walk to the high-speed train station, about a 10-minute walk. If you arrive late at night, some guests can be quite loud and inconsiderate, making it a bit noisy. **Cleanliness:** It was quite clean, with disposable slippers and separate slippers for the shower. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, and bottled toiletries are provided, so you don't need to bring your own. **Facilities:** Bottled water is provided, and you can choose your pillow. The bed's firmness was just right. For an overnight stay near the airport, this is my top choice. In the morning, I checked out early and, in my haste, left my phone charger in the room. I only realized I'd forgotten it at airport security. I called the hotel front desk, and they kindly held onto it for me. I picked it up when I returned from Singapore. Many thanks to them!

Not bad at all! There's a night market with lots of food stalls right at the end of the road from the entrance. The room offers great value for money, and it comes with a XiaoDu smart assistant throughout. Plus, they offer free airport pickup and drop-off, which is amazing for the price!

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the beach, just a few minutes' walk to the sand. The front desk and room service staff were warm and attentive, even personally taking us to the pharmacy. Our room was upgraded to one with a large balcony and a great sea view. The public facilities like the pool and lawn areas were well-maintained. Although some facilities are a bit older, the overall value for money is high. The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety, catering to different tastes.

This time, I took my friend's advice and tried out the Sheraton. The hotel environment is elegant and upscale, clean and tidy, and the room is also spacious and comfortable. There's a swimming pool, and it opens right out to the beach, making for a very pleasant stay. The staff were warm and attentive, with a gentle and thoughtful demeanor, showing attention to detail everywhere. I also booked a travel photoshoot with the hotel's 'Leisure' service, and it exceeded my expectations! Every corner of the hotel – the lobby, corridors, and terrace – was incredibly photogenic and full of atmosphere. The photographer was professional and patient, meticulously guiding my poses and expressions. The shoot was relaxed and not awkward at all, and the original photos had excellent quality. I'll definitely come back to experience this again next time I'm in Haikou!

This hotel boasts a prime location in the heart of Hainan Ocean Flower Island No. 1, with easy walking access to various amusement parks and shopping areas, making it incredibly convenient for exploring. The hotel amenities are excellent, featuring a stunning outdoor pool and a well-equipped fitness center. Plus, the free parking is a huge bonus, with plenty of spaces and even EV charging stations, which is super convenient for those driving. The staff are friendly and the check-in process was efficient and smooth. The attention to detail in their service really enhances the vacation vibe.

Service: The front desk was excellent, even upgrading me directly to a duplex suite. There are a lot of Russians at this hotel, so I felt like the foreigner! It was like receiving VIP treatment. Plus, perhaps because of the Russian clientele, breakfast runs until noon, which is fantastic for late risers and vacationers – a proper brunch situation! Of course, with such late breakfast hours, the spread isn't overly extensive, more like a good 4-star plus standard. Cleanliness: The suite's cleanliness was decent. The hotel provided mosquito coils and repellent. I was confused about it during the day, but I understood why at night. Ambiance: It's an older hotel, hard to rate, but the value for money is very high. Facilities: Hard to evaluate. On one hand, it’s surprisingly well-equipped with a full-sized double bathtub, two bathrooms in the duplex suite, twin beds, and good soundproofing. On the other hand, it has that dated feel, and the projector screen for the attic projector was already worn out. But, credit where credit is due, the idea of a projector in the attic is quite clever. The gym was under maintenance. As for the pool, you need to be brave and unbothered by the Russians – if I'm not awkward, they are!

This is my second time staying here, and it's a hotel with excellent value for money. The main reason I chose it is its fantastic location – right by Dadonghai Bay as soon as you step out, which is incredibly convenient! I was very satisfied with this stay. The hotel's location is great, and transportation is easy. The front desk service was very patient, especially managers 10 and 11, who were very kind and thoughtful! The room was clean and tidy, the facilities were quite new, and it was also very quiet. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit. Highly recommended!

The room decor and cleanliness were pretty good, and the 2-meter bed was almost noiseless. I suggest they provide conditioner, that would be even better. The breakfast variety wasn't very extensive, and the main issue was that the plates felt damp. I recommend they dry and sanitize them properly.

Overall, it was okay, and the breakfast was very good. The room was spacious and comfortable. However, the room cleaning was a significant issue: * The first time we entered the room, we found toilet paper in the toilet that hadn't been flushed. * The shampoo bottle was empty even though it hadn't been used yet. After reporting it, they sent a small replacement. But after the room was cleaned the next day, the bottle was still empty and hadn't been refilled. * After the second day's cleaning, only one hand towel was left (for two guests). Additionally, the hotel's parking garage was in very poor condition, which is a bit of an embarrassment for Hilton.

GGuest UserOut of the 7 days we spent in Sanya, staying at 5 different hotels, this Bird's Nest Resort was by far the most comfortable. The hotel environment is excellent. We booked a Magpie Room, and Mr. Xu, the guest relations manager who contacted me beforehand, thoughtfully arranged room 8 for us, knowing we had a child. The view from there was truly unbeatable. My child was thrilled, feeling like they were living in a treehouse. No matter where we were in the resort, the hotel could send a car to pick us up. Before checking out on the second day, Mr. Xu reminded us that we could request a late check-out and luggage service. In summary: The service at Bird's Nest Hotel is incredibly thoughtful and seamless. My family and I felt that from Mr. Xu onwards, all the staff we encountered during our stay had excellent attitudes. When we checked out, my wife, who's usually in charge at home, said: 'That guesthouse in Houhai Village was the worst booking, but this Bird's Nest was the best.' I guess my good deed balanced out the bad.

AAnonymous UserI spontaneously decided to visit Hainan for a few days during the May Day holiday and booked this hotel in a hurry. The online reviews were mixed, so I was quite apprehensive before arriving, but I ended up being quite satisfied. First, there's our butler, Cici. She's a lovely girl who was incredibly responsive to all our requests and organized everything thoughtfully. I'm really grateful to her. Second, the villa-style rooms mean you don't have to worry about noise; it's very quiet and private. The bedding is also more comfortable than what you usually find in Sanya hotels – the mattress isn't too soft, which is perfect for someone like me who struggles with sleep. Third, having a private pool means you can swim whenever you like. And right after a swim, you can hop into a hot shower; the hot water pressure was excellent. Fourth, the hotel's pest control is pretty good. There were no mosquitoes, and the villa's small courtyard only had tiny ants, unlike other Sanya villa hotels where you often see large insects everywhere. Fifth, the location is great. In a 'food desert' like Sanya, convenient food delivery is really important. Here are the downsides: First, the decor is quite basic. However, I don't really mind that; it was clean, so I was okay with it. Second, the food is just so-so. The breakfast is fine for a standard hotel, but for a resort, it's a bit subpar and the taste is very ordinary. Villa guests only get one type of fresh juice daily, and breakfast only runs until 10:30 AM. Third, aside from Cici, the other staff members seemed very unmotivated. Even though breakfast starts at 7:30 AM, not all the food was out, and there wasn't a single staff member present. During our stay, we had a minor issue with the buffet in the main building. Cici and the restaurant manager there resolved it immediately once they found out. Their attitude was great and very sincere. You can tell the hotel genuinely wants to provide good service, but perhaps they're working with a limited budget, as the hotel industry in Sanya is incredibly competitive. Overall, it's a very good value-for-money hotel, and I would definitely come back.

TTangxinleizhenyuThe room overall is pretty good, and there are many more free activities to participate in. Two years ago, when I visited, I even caught the Earth Hour concert, which was very interesting. This time, the room type I stayed in was larger and had better facilities, and the price was still the same – great value for money. The downsides are that the air conditioning was really a bit warm, the maintenance of the beach and lawn wasn't great, and the restaurant food has become less appealing. Also, the hotel lobby now has a lot of stalls selling small merchandise, which feels quite cluttered. However, this might be unavoidable given its value-for-money approach, but I still hope they can make more improvements if possible.

Wwewetse_hlpHaitang Bay was the only place I hadn't visited yet, and since I was traveling with a child, I found that the InterContinental offered the most extensive range of kids' activities and entertainment, so I booked it without hesitation. The hotel room was very spacious, and they provided slippers, bathrobes, and toiletries for children. The breakfast even had a dedicated kids' buffet, which made my child feel involved in the morning meal. On the day we checked in, we were assigned a butler, Bobby, who sent daily greetings and checked in on us, providing reminders whether it was raining or sunny. The kids' club, mini-train, mini-cars, and bicycles were all available for unlimited use, and my child absolutely loved it. We booked a travel photoshoot on the third day, which was also very thoughtful. Even though it was hot and my child wasn't very cooperative, the photographer still managed to capture some pretty good shots despite the challenging conditions. The complimentary buffet also included a mermaid show. Every day was wonderfully enjoyable, and my child said they want to come back again next time!

NNiki*The facilities are a bit old, and there's a slight musty smell in the room, but other than that, everything was great. The sea visible from the balcony was very blue, and there was a nice breeze at the hotel, which was very comfortable. We went to the Thai restaurant; the prices weren't high, and the group set meals were substantial. I thought the food was delicious, though it was a bit dim in the restaurant at night, so people might want to go in the early evening or earlier. We were lucky enough to stumble upon an unexpected concert on the lawn 🎼 enjoying the breeze, listening to music, and sipping wine – it was wonderfully liberating… There were also plenty of beach chairs by the sea, so you didn't have to scramble for one like on public beaches, haha. Our butler, Coral, provided excellent service. All in all, everything was just right! (Many people complain online, but I think you really have to experience it for yourself to know).

GGuest UserFacilities: The facilities are quite comprehensive. The beach is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel, but unfortunately, the waves were too big, so we could only admire them from afar. There's a sightseeing mini-train that circles the hotel for tours. There are three pools, one of which is a water park for children, and lifeguards are always on duty. Free swimming rings are provided, which is very convenient. Hygiene: The rooms and facilities are kept quite clean. The rooms had no strange odors, and the soundproofing was good, so it was very quiet for sleeping at night. Environment: The environment is pretty good, with a large lawn that's great for taking photos and strolls. It's also very comfortable to just relax and unwind at the hotel. Service: We waited in line for 15 minutes to check in at the front desk, and the check-in process itself took 30 minutes. We booked two king rooms for three nights, and the room issues delayed us for a long time. There were suitable rooms available, but we were put through two rounds of arrangements. The efficiency was a bit low. There was also a slight unpleasantness when getting towels by the pool; I hope some staff members can improve their service awareness. However, a kind elderly woman, possibly housekeeping, on the first floor of Building 5 was particularly enthusiastic in helping us find the sightseeing shuttle. Also, a young man at the hotel's main entrance saw us, a group with elderly and children pushing a wheelchair, returning from outside and proactively offered us a ride to the lobby. That was very heartwarming. Breakfast and the buffet dinner had a good variety of choices, and the quality was decent. Overall, it's still a pretty good hotel.

GGuest UserThis hotel is located at the easternmost end of Yalong Bay, right next to the Underwater World, making it super convenient for water sports. We booked a sea-view king room, which turned out to be a couple's suite – it would be even more romantic if I had my partner with me next time! Facilities: There's a self-service laundry room, but no dryer. It would be great if they could add one in the future. Cleanliness: Very clean, especially the white bedsheets. Environment: Right on the beach, so getting into the sea is very easy. Service: The hotel staff are very enthusiastic, and they even offer travel photography services, which is perfect for capturing vacation memories. Overall, it's a hotel with great value for money, highly recommended, and quite popular!

GGuest UserThis is a true resort hotel. While the decor isn't the most modern, those seeking privacy will absolutely love it. Each room is a standalone unit with its own yard, and you hardly see other guests except during meals. The beach sand is quite fine, and it's mostly deserted. There's also a very photogenic pier that looks just like something out of La La Land! Our butler, Henry, was very responsive, even checking if we'd received our dessert at 9 PM. The front desk answered the phone on the first ring, and the shuttle was almost always immediate. Everyone's service was exceptional, really showing the quality of a five-star hotel. It's also perfect for a run; a 5k at sunset is absolutely delightful!
