This stay was absolutely fantastic! The owner is incredibly nice, very chatty, and super polite, making us feel welcome right from check-in. The room was spotless and very comfortable; you can tell they put a lot of effort into maintaining it. The owner was also incredibly hospitable, even inviting us to join him for tea and a chat. He patiently answered all our questions, making us feel like friends. He even helped us arrange transportation to Dali, which saved us a lot of hassle. The most touching part was on our last day: we accidentally left my glasses behind, and the owner went out of his way to mail them to me in Dali. That's truly thoughtful service! Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and highly recommend everyone to support this owner. I'll definitely be back next time!

Following up on my previous review: I was so lucky to receive a postcard from the lovely lady at the front desk, which is perfect to give to a friend I met in Kunming. My simple greeting of 'I had a great stay, very happy, and wish you all a Happy New Year' really made me feel the warmth of the hostel. I loved the postcard they chose for me, and I'll definitely be back. I've already recommended it to other friends!

Facilities: All good. Hygiene: Very clean. Environment: The surrounding area is great, and it's a perfect 30-minute taxi ride to anywhere. Service: The owner provided excellent service and even brought us a small table.

The room was clean and tidy, with complete amenities and a well-thought-out layout that was convenient to use. The self-service laundry was a lifesaver for guests. The hotel staff were attentive and had excellent attitudes, making guests feel right at home. The hotel's surroundings boasted incredibly convenient transportation and perfect commercial facilities. There were also many attractions nearby, such as Cuihu Park and Kunming Old Street, allowing us to experience the convenience of living and traveling.

This is definitely the perfect choice for a family trip with seniors and kids! It's in a great location in Nanping Street, within walking distance to attractions, so elders and children won't be too tired. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms have grab bars, which makes it reassuring for older guests. The self-service laundry room has a dryer and even a garment steamer, so no worries about washing clothes. The breakfast offers both Chinese and Western options, catering to everyone's tastes, and the staff even help older guests carry their plates. The service is thoughtful and truly excellent.

Very nice hotel in a central location, close to the North gate. We stayed here the two nights before our trekking in the Tiger Leaping Gorge and the two nights after coming back from the trekking. For our second stay we received a free upgrade of the room. This time we had a balcony and a bathtub. The room was a bit more at the front of the hotel so also a bit noisier during the evening and night. And light was coming in through the bathroom window. But it did not bother us and we slept very well as the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is terrific. We would definitely come back here for our next stay. Highly recommended!

The highlight of my Lijiang trip has to be the Jinmao Hotel Lijiang, a Hyatt Centric hotel! I've stayed in countless hotels, but this place truly captivated me with its 'bustling outside, serene inside' experience. It's just a 15-minute walk to Shuhe Ancient Town, and after soaking in the vibrant atmosphere there, you can retreat to this Naxi-style courtyard oasis. The red walls and black tiles reflected in the flowing water, even the air feels relaxing. The room was an absolute delight. The solid wood furniture exuded a warm, rich feel. The hotel offers many activities, and the service details were impeccable. You can even catch a glimpse of the stunning Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the breakfast restaurant. The room also came with a large bathtub, adding a perfect touch of vacation luxury. The hotel staff were always prompt and thoughtful, making the trip feel like a warm family visit. From the facilities to the service details, everything showcased a five-star quality. I particularly want to thank Christina for her attentive care, which made the entire journey incredibly comfortable. Next time I'm in Lijiang, I will definitely choose this hotel again!

The Kaleidoscope room is truly amazing! You can capture the chimney night view right from the balcony, and the most stunning surprise was on the day we left – I opened the curtains and saw the sunrise, it was absolutely beautiful. The hotel staff's service attitude was also excellent. I accidentally scraped another car while parking, and they quickly helped resolve it. They even gave us two complimentary breakfasts afterward. I'm truly grateful; this hotel is genuinely fantastic. The shuttle bus takes you directly to the scenic area for photos, but the Dongfengyun Scenic Area is only really suitable for taking pictures; we finished exploring in half an hour. By 3 PM, we were so bored we just watched TV at the hotel. If I hadn't booked the hotel in advance, I would have just gone back to Kunming that evening.

Facilities: The hotel's facilities are superb! The bedding in the room is comfortable, the toiletries are complete and of great quality, and basic amenities like air conditioning and hot water run smoothly. The smart room control system is also very convenient to use. In the public areas, the fitness and lounge areas are well-equipped with brand new and well-maintained equipment, and the public area hygiene is also exceptionally good. Service: This stay was fantastic, and I must highlight Minnie and George Chai at the front desk for their exceptionally professional and attentive service. Check-in and check-out were super efficient, they were smiling throughout, and patiently explained the hotel facilities and provided tips for local attractions and dining. Their thoughtfulness was evident in every detail. Any questions we had were answered instantly, and their attitude was gentle and considerate, adding so much warmth to our trip. Their excellent service truly made our entire stay perfect. I highly recommend this hotel and commend Minnie and George Chai for their outstanding service!

The room was spacious and very comfortable, and every detail reflected the local character. One of the best things about this accommodation is its location. It is right inside the Old Town of Lijiang—quiet and peaceful, yet at the same time you really feel like you are part of the old town itself. It never felt noisy, but instead warm, lively, and full of atmosphere. The courtyard is beautifully designed in classic Lijiang style, creating a space where guests can truly relax. I stayed on the second floor, and every afternoon I could enjoy the warm sunlight while looking down into the courtyard. Those moments felt incredibly romantic and special, and they gave me a deep sense of connection to the place. A very special highlight were the two dogs, so typical of Lijiang. They are quite big, but incredibly gentle and friendly, and they truly made the place feel like home. Their presence added warmth and character to the stay and made everything feel even more welcoming. This is one of those accommodations where foreign guests can genuinely feel at home while experiencing the real spirit of Lijiang. Everything about this stay felt authentic and heartfelt. I can recommend this place to everyone with complete confidence—it was simply perfect, a true 10 out of 10.
