The walls were a bit thin, but that's normal for Japan hotels. Lovely hospitality. They gave a free dashi pack as a door gift.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. First, the service was excellent. Ms. Yoshida at the front desk was very patient during check-in, and seeing I had a lot of luggage, she offered to help me carry it to my room. Second, the hotel facilities are relatively new and well-maintained, and the bathroom design is great. The location is convenient; you can access the Shinkansen directly from the 3rd floor, and walk to the West Exit and S-PAL mall from the 2nd floor. From the window, you can overlook the East Exit high-speed bus terminal, making it extremely easy to get to attractions like Yamagata Zao. There's also a Lopia supermarket within a five-minute walk, which is handy for groceries. The only drawback is that there's only one washing machine and dryer per floor. Since you need to use your key card to access each guest floor, it can be hard to get a spot during peak evening hours for laundry. I recommend planning your time accordingly. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sendai and its surrounding areas.

Hotel where you can watch the sunrise from bed. Around 4:30 AM, I went to the restroom and suddenly noticed a light shining through the window. I initially thought it was just the lights from a nearby building. However, the light started changing colors, and it was absolutely stunning – it turned out to be the sunrise! I quickly went back to bed, grabbed my phone, snapped a photo, and then took a short video. Afterward, I happily went back to sleep. For this three-night stay in Sendai, I booked a standard room at KOKO Hotel (Sendai Citizen's Park). The hotel's location is excellent, near Kotodai-Koen Station. It's about a 15-minute walk, passing Aoba-dori Station and Hirose-dori Station along the way. The room wasn't huge, but there was enough space between the two beds to open a suitcase. The bathroom was a standard modular unit, very neat and clean. My room number was 1018.

I forgot to snap a picture of the room. It’s the nicest hotel I have stayed in Japan for the price I paid. The hotel’s bed is slightly fixed higher to allow storage of luggages. This is very convenient for travellers with larger luggage. We had two 30mins luggage and had no problem roaming around the room. The amenities provided here is of better quality as well. Feels nice to the skin. It was New Year’s Eve yesterday and the hotel prepared soba noodle for everyone. Felt so warm after a long chilly day in Sendai! Overall. Great stay!

This hotel is a 10-minute walk from Sendai Station, with four or five convenience stores nearby. It's also very close to the Sendai Morning Market, and there's a free observation deck on the 30th floor of the building next door. Right outside the hotel, you'll find a wide variety of restaurants, including ramen shops, Chinese restaurants, and Japanese diners. The lobby has a style reminiscent of the early 20th century, and the rooms are very well-maintained and feel new. The bathtub is large, and a particularly great feature is how fresh the air in the room feels; you won't feel stuffy even after spending a long time there. The windows on the 8th floor can also be opened. The only minor drawback is that the room lighting is a bit too bright and not very soft. Both the mattress and pillows are very comfortable, and the front desk staff are highly professional. The beverage vending machine prices are also cheaper than what you'd typically find at other hotels.

The hotel is quite nice, about a 10-minute walk from the station, which is convenient for shopping. Mitsui Department Store is nearby, just across the street. The hotel has a large public bath, which is great for a relaxing soak after a day out. Just try to avoid peak hours.

The room is big enough to even change my suitcase from broken one to a new one. I like having bamboo baskets for me to carry thing to the onsen. It is very nice to have sauna, one indoor onsen, one outdoor onsen and a cold onsen. I was happy to have an ice-cream after onsen and can have a small bowl of ramen for free.

I always book this hotel when I go to Sendai. The room is quite spacious for Japan, and the bed is big enough. It's only about a 5-minute walk from Sendai Station, so the transportation is super convenient.

The location is great, right in a shopping street, about a 15-minute walk from the station. There are plenty of shops nearby, making it very convenient for dining and other needs. The hotel uses a self-service check-in and check-out system at the front desk, and the overall experience was excellent. The room I booked this time was over 30 square meters, which is quite spacious for a Japanese hotel and offers great value for money. The facilities are also relatively new. I'm very satisfied with my stay.

Wow! Everything was nice here! The location was good, close to the station. The amenities were remarkable and the b'fast buffet sets the standard! I will highly recommend this Koko Hotel and would be more than satisfied to stay again!
