"Great location, just 1min walk away from Toyama Station on level 5 of the Maroot building . It’s a perfect base to move around the Tateyama region. The room is on the small side but adequate and well furnished. For tourists who need the iron & ironing board, there are 2 sets per floor that you can use. This is a lifesaver. I’ve had to deal with the trousers presser only at certain hotels, much to my dismay. This was a nice change."

"The hotel in the middle of the moutain. Indeed!!! The hotel is just short walk from the bus stop. Room was huge, well equiped with amenities. They also provide the skin care as well. The hotel dinner was really good. It was the japanese course with free flow drink. (Sake, Fruit liquir, beer, soft drink). There are a lot of activities inc. Walking on Midagahara wetlands, stargage (japanese only). The hotel is just next to Midagahara wetland which you can enjoy the view of seacloud in the evening and the stunning view of glassland and the mountain in the morning. 10 of 10."

"The room I booked had an absolutely beautiful view — I loved it very much. It was spacious, and the hotel itself is large and impressive. The onsen was also excellent and very enjoyable. However, the main drawback was the dinner and breakfast. The meals did not match the promotional photos. For example, the advertisement showed crab legs, but there were none during my stay. The sashimi selection was also quite limited. Considering that this is the Toyama area by the sea, I was surprised that there was not much seafood available. There was not even salmon sashimi, which was disappointing. If the hotel could improve and expand the food selection, it would be perfect. It truly has the potential to be the best hotel in Unazuki Onsen."

"Came here to relax with the natural hot spring that Toyama is famous for. The waters here are dark brown like soya sauce. The public bath has several baths including one that is outdoor. There are ample lockers, dressing tables and shower berths. The laundry room is inside the public bath area. They are separate machines from the dryer. While the washing machines are free, it costs money to use the dryer. The shower cubicle in the hotel room has no shower rail to hang laundry to dry. The double bed room has a private cypress wood bath tub. It felt good to soak in onsen water in the morning before breakfast. It’s deep enough for someone tall to sit in. A short walk away is the tram stop. A free tram ride coupon can be obtained from the front desk for international tourists."

"The front desk service is amazing. The hot spring is very comfortable. The room is clean and hygienic with a dry and wet separation. The mini bar has pudding and mineral water. The breakfast is also very sumptuous. It's just a 15-minute straight walk from Toyama Station. Remember to bring a bath towel when you go to soak in the hot spring!! "I stayed here during the Himi Festival. There was a large public bath, and I checked the TV to see how busy it was before going in. There were four washing areas inside and two outside. I used the large public bath three times: after arriving at the hotel, before going to bed, and after waking up in the morning. My skin became so smooth. The mattress on the bed was just the right firmness, so I slept soundly. I was able to enjoy my breakfast at my own pace, and the miso soup and white rice were delicious. Of course, the side dishes were also delicious. The complimentary plum juice was popular and ran out quickly, so I was disappointed that I couldn't drink it. For dinner, there was Uotami and a supermarket nearby, so it wasn't a problem. I would like to stay here again. And I truly hope that Himi will be able to recover."

"The hotel is about ten minutes walk from the train station. It is not close. Fortunately, there are some shops and restaurants nearby that can solve the meal. I have stayed in this hotel group several times, the room furniture is simple and the area is spacious. There is an artificial hot spring bath in the hotel, but the place is not big. Breakfast is average, don't have expectations."

The location is a bit out of the way, but it wasn't a problem since we were driving. Although it's an older-style inn, it was clean and tidy. There were also quite a few locals staying there. They offered snack sharing in the afternoon and evening. The most pleasant surprise was the incredibly rich breakfast. I would definitely choose this inn again next time.

The service is very good, the proprietress is Taiwanese, helping us a lot, but the room facilities are old, the room is dark, the public bath is small, and it is better to soak in your own room.

Hotel is modern and new. Room is very spacious and clean. Staff is very helpful. We forgot that we reserved a parking space and the staff is able to check and find our reservation record so we are able to park our car in the hotel.

The location is super convenient, right across from the station square. I arrived a little after one and the front desk kindly checked me in, which was a nice touch. My room had a view of the snowy mountains, the City Hall Observation Deck, the Glass Museum, and the green roof of Toyama Castle. If you stay multiple nights and opt out of full cleaning (only trash emptied and towels changed), you get a free drink voucher redeemable at the vending machine on the first floor. Foreign guests can also get a free tram ticket at the front desk, valid for two rides. Breakfast was decent, and you can even take coffee to go.

I had a truly memorable stay at this hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff were incredibly attentive and kind throughout my visit. The overall atmosphere gave off a wonderfully authentic Japanese vibe, which made the experience even more special. One of the highlights was the delicious traditional Japanese breakfast — beautifully prepared and full of flavor. What impressed me most was how the hotel made me feel so comfortable and welcome, almost like I was staying at a relative’s home in Japan. It’s a place I would wholeheartedly recommend, and I would love to return again in the future.

Before trip, I think this hotel is located close to Toyama station but I walked from Toyama station to the hotel around 20 minutes (However, this was my own fault for not reading the hotel’s location information carefully). For this hotel, the facilities is very well and various such as public bath, electric body massage machine, vending machine. For the public bath, if you use it during the daytime, you’ll probably get a beautiful view of the Japan Alps surrounding the city. Unfortunately, I used it at night, when it was too dark to see the view.

A magical traditional Japanese inn. You have to wear slippers when entering the inn. The elderly are very enthusiastic and the whole village is very welcoming. I haven't experienced that kind of simplicity for a long time. There are singing and dancing performances, very delicious Sichuan fish, and a call to eat breakfast early. It feels like home.
