GGuest UserThis hotel is easy to find, and its location is very convenient for dining, shopping, and getting around by taxi. The lobby is bright, and the staff are very helpful. The room was clean and tidy, and it even had a washing machine and a refrigerator. Overall, I'm satisfied and would recommend it. It would be even better if the bathroom had a door. It's not too far from attractions like Wenshu Monastery and Du Fu Thatched Cottage. However, the hotel is quite a distance from the nearest subway station.

YYt52162This hotel is excellent – clean, spacious rooms, and they provide four bottles of water daily. The location is superb, right next to Tianfu Square and the Chengdu Museum, which was perfect for rainy days. It's also close to People's Park and Chunxi Road. Despite the many tourists, the staff were incredibly dedicated and patient. The braised duck at breakfast was delicious, and the noodles with bamboo shoots and beef brisket topping were a treat. My wonderful experience in Chengdu started right here. See you again!

The room was beautiful and had a lovely balcony, the view was even better than website photos! The hotel is in a great location for a nice walk and just a 10-minute walk from the metro station. The surrounding area is very convenient, full of 24/7 convenience stores, and the staff even helped us order food delivery :)
It was also super convenient to have a laundry room equipped with both washing machines and dryers. The staff were extremely kind and spoke fluent English, which made communication much easier and more effective. Highly recommended!

JJinshuiWe stayed in Meishan for a week for a sporting event. The hotel has clearly seen better days—especially compared to many newer properties in the area (aging lifts, worn carpets, etc.). We chose it mainly for three reasons: breakfast, gym/pool, and laundry facilities.
1. Breakfast
The daily buffet was solid and met expectations. It featured a typical Chinese spread: hot stir-fried dishes, vegetables, meats, buns, dumplings, fried rice/noodles, porridge, plus a live station for dan dan noodles, eggs, and simple meats like sausage or ham. There was also a rotating Chinese dessert (e.g., red date with longan, green bean soup), along with some Western options like salad greens, yogurt, bread, cake, and fresh fruit.
Since we stayed a full week, we appreciated the small variations. That said, we were surprised by the limited fruit selection—mainly oranges and watermelon—especially given the abundance of fresh fruit available locally. Breakfast vouchers are issued daily and must be presented before dining.
2. Gym & Pool
This was the biggest disappointment. Both the gym and pool were completely closed, and the entire floor was gutted with no visible renovation activity. It looks like these facilities have been—and will be—out of service for quite some time. This was a major letdown, as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel.
3. Laundry
There is only one washer and one dryer for the entire building. We were concerned about availability, but only had to wait once. The 15-minute wash cycle helps with turnover. However, the dryer takes a long time and unfortunately shrunk all my cotton clothing. I’d recommend partially drying cotton items and then air-drying them in your room.
Package Perks
We booked through Trip.com, which included a small daily package: a plate with two oranges and some snacks, complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby, and a free transfer to the high-speed rail station (must be booked at the front desk one day in advance). There were also canned sodas included, which we didn’t use.
Room & Noise
We were initially assigned a room facing the plaza, which was very noisy. After requesting a change, we were first told the hotel was sold out—but after some persistence, a park-facing room was “found.” This room was significantly better: quiet, bright, and pleasant, with birdsong in the morning.
We were told these were actually an upgrade, and that road-facing rooms are even worse due to constant traffic noise.
4. Smart Room Features (“Xiao Du”)
We did enjoy the smart room system—“Xiao Du,” which works similarly to Alexa. It can control the curtains, TV, room temperature, and lighting, which is a nice modern touch. However, it was also a bit frustrating at times—for example, it would automatically turn off the lights in the bathroom sink area. The lighting there is already quite dim and not ideal for doing makeup.
It would be helpful if the hotel could improve lighting around the mirror (brighter bulbs would make a big difference), or even better, install a mirror by the writing desk near the window where there is natural light.
Smoking
Smoking is allowed in the hotel, and we did notice it in the lobby, elevators, and corridors. Thankfully, our room itself was fine. Housekeeping turns off the AC and opens windows when cleaning, which seems to help ventilate lingering smoke.
Location & Surroundings
The hotel is in a convenient area. A nearby park is lovely, with traditional structures and inscriptions related to the Su family. Within a short walk is a lively commercial plaza with restaurants, bubble tea shops, salons (I tried a newly opened nail salon), and more. Getting around via Didi is easy.
Overall
For the price, the hotel offers decent value. However, the closed fitness facilities were a major downside. If we return, we’d likely try a newer hotel—but this one works if you prioritize cost and location over amenities.

1. **Outdated and Poorly Designed**: The facilities are quite old, and the design is impractical. For example, the shower and toilet are in the same area within the bathroom, with no separation. This means if someone is using the toilet, no one can shower, and vice-versa.
2. **Misleading Advertising**: Figures 1 and 2 in the hotel's promotional images, which are crucial for customers before booking, are completely different from what you see upon entering the room (as shown in the last three pictures). I'd like to ask the hotel management: where is the bathtub from your promotional photos? It's turned into a concrete basin, and it's incredibly dirty inside. There was no prior notification upon check-in – it's a complete mismatch from what was advertised.
3. **Hazardous Staircase**: The stairs in the room are extremely steep. You have to be very careful going up, and when going down, you *must* descend backward as per the hotel's instructions, because it's impossible to go down facing forward without falling.
4. **No Internal Elevator**: The hotel doesn't have its own internal elevator, and the staircases within the hotel are also very steep, making it genuinely difficult to carry luggage upstairs.
## Hygiene:
The overall hygiene in the room is acceptable. The wooden floor on the second level is clean, but that dirty carpet really shouldn't be there.
## Environment:
The hotel has been converted from a two-story commercial building. It's not noisy at night and is conveniently located within walking distance of the ancient city's snack street, Nanqiao Bridge, and the subway station.
## Service:
Service is just okay. After checking in, they provide some guide articles about nearby attractions and restaurants, but that's about it.

Lucky, the welcoming dog, is also adorable! The room is spacious with a great view, and the small appliances are high-end. There are also many thoughtful functional details. The breakfast restaurant is large with a rich variety of options, and the service is excellent. Downstairs, there's a mall and a subway station, which was perfect for traveling with kids; they absolutely loved it. For a hotel of this caliber, the price offers great value for money.

DDiwatexushengThis hotel is my top choice for travel, and its location is simply unbeatable. This time, I stayed at the Tonino Lamborghini Center by Tianfu Square, and the location was definitely the biggest plus, right in the heart of the city's central axis. Just a few steps from the hotel entrance is a subway interchange station, with Lines 1 and 2 connecting to the entire city, making getting around completely stress-free. Tianfu Square and the Chengdu Museum are within walking distance, so you can soak in the old city's cultural heritage with a leisurely stroll. A short subway ride takes you to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, and a quick taxi ride gets you to popular attractions like Kuanzhai Alley and Jinli. Downstairs, there's a bustling commercial area with plenty of unique snack shops, making shopping and eating incredibly convenient. The high-floor rooms offer expansive views through floor-to-ceiling windows; by day, you can overlook the city's main thoroughfares, and by night, you're treated to the sparkling lights of the entire square. Despite being in a busy area, the soundproofing is excellent, offering both convenient access and peaceful rest. For anyone visiting Chengdu, I highly recommend this place. Its prime location is a huge advantage, making your travels effortless and enjoyable.

The room design is very stylish, clean, and tidy, with an absolutely stunning view – we could admire the snow-capped mountains right from our bed, making for a very comfortable stay. As always, Vienna Hotel chain is reliable! The lobby has a grand design, the bathroom's wet and dry areas were spotless, and the hot water came out quickly.
