Full marks, exceptional stay! I came to Harbin on a business trip to negotiate a project, and Ocean Ritz Hotel far exceeded my expectations. The location is unbeatable. It's within walking distance of Central Street and Saint Sophia Cathedral—a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, making it super convenient for both sightseeing and meeting clients. The lobby boasts a European palace aesthetic, with crystal chandeliers, relief sculptures, and a spiral staircase that create an incredible ambiance. The common areas are perfect for a quick business break or catching up over afternoon tea. The guest rooms are spacious, the bedding is plush and comfortable, and the soundproofing is top-notch, allowing for a restful night after a busy day. The in-room amenities are comprehensive, featuring everything from a capsule coffee machine to smart bathroom fixtures, and the housekeeping is spotless. The front desk staff was professional, efficient, responsive, and very courteous. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, with authentic local Northeast Chinese specialties. The hotel has an upscale, sophisticated vibe that effortlessly caters to both business and leisure travel. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Harbin. Highly recommended!

This hotel is incredibly spacious, with beautiful landscaping, excellent service, and great dining options. It also boasts a gym, swimming pool, sauna, and a lovely back garden. The concierge service is incredibly warm, attentive, and thoughtful, always greeting guests politely with a wonderful attitude. They even have cute little robots that deliver room service! The breakfast spread is very diverse, offering both Chinese and Western options, showing great attention to detail and variety. The hotel's location is also superb, close to large shopping malls, making it convenient for shopping and dining out.

It's a designer guesthouse transformed from the century-old Zhengyuanxing Silk Store, brimming with a classic Republican era retro vibe that feels like a time-filter in itself. Staying here in the 'Ice City' completely immerses you in the atmosphere! Nestled in the heart of the Chinese Baroque district, it occupies a standalone century-old building with green bricks, red walls, and wooden corridors. The courtyard is elegant and serene – you don't even need to go looking for sights. A casual snap anywhere in the hotel yields stunning photos with that Republican era ambiance 📸. Wear light-colored clothing or a qipao, and your photos will be absolutely divine! What truly captivated me was its exclusive and private feel. The entire hotel has only 26 guest rooms, limiting daily guests, so there's absolutely no noisy crowd. You can enjoy the peace and elegance of a century-old residence all to yourself. It's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, perfectly avoiding the throngs of tourists. Beneath its vintage exterior lies a thoroughly modern, top-tier experience! All rooms feature smart home devices, smart toilets, and oversized bathtubs with great views. There's a Dyson hairdryer, a seven-setting constant temperature direct drinking water system, and a whole-house soft water system. After a shower, your skin feels wonderfully soft and smooth – the attention to detail is truly exceptional ✨. Each room has a unique layout and view. The four-season themed rooms are particularly distinctive, with abundant natural light and spaciousness. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the soundproofing is superb. At night, it's wonderfully quiet, allowing you to sleep undisturbed until you naturally wake up. The service is impeccable! There's a 24-hour dedicated private butler, attentive and meticulous throughout your stay, ready to assist with any request. Just bring your bags and check in; you won't have to worry about a thing, making for a truly blissful vacation. The breakfast truly amazed me 💯! It's a nine-compartment Northeastern specialty breakfast served in a Republican-era style restaurant. The variety changes daily, featuring everything from Harbin red sausage and diced Guobaorou (sweet and sour pork) to special pickles. One bite unlocks the authentic local flavor of the 'Ice City', making for a very ceremonial dining experience. The location is absolutely unbeatable! Step out and you're right on a century-old street with a cluster of retro buildings. Downstairs, you'll find all sorts of authentic Harbin old-brand eateries, making it easy to stroll and eat to your heart's content. It’s also super close to Central Street and St. Sophia Cathedral. Transportation is convenient, so you don't have to rush around when exploring. If you're traveling to Harbin and want to avoid the crowds while enjoying a premium, quality stay, this century-old guesthouse hidden in Lao Daowai is definitely the top choice! Traveling to Harbin, I chose Aoluguya among many hotels. Although it's a bit far from the city's scenic spots, it's still acceptable, about fifteen to twenty minutes by car. The surroundings are quiet and more comfortable than staying in a tourist area; it's not noisy at all. Moreover, the hotel environment is truly excellent. The main thing is that the staff's attention to detail is outstanding. From the concierge at the door, to the lobby, the restaurant, and the room service staff, everyone is very attentive. They're proactive and on the ball. They specifically told me the welcome fruit would be delivered to the room later, but it never arrived during my three-day stay ☹️↔️ but that's alright. Check-in was handled by a handsome guy named Echo, who was very efficient and clearly explained all the hotel and room details in a short time. There was also a lady who walked around each check-in desk, constantly monitoring customer interactions. This level of detail is something I've only experienced in luxury diamond-rated hotels in other cities; many five-star hotels fall far short. And the gentleman with glasses at the entrance of the breakfast restaurant every day, who I assume is a manager (didn't catch his name), was always enthusiastic and thoughtful. The other restaurant staff, including the chefs at the food stations, also had a particularly pleasant attitude. It's truly impressive to maintain such a work ethic, especially during the peak National Day holiday season. Even when the breakfast area was crowded, it wasn't chaotic, and food was replenished very promptly. Noodles and dumplings were almost always available without waiting. The chefs at the stations were particularly good at explaining the dishes, unlike some hotels where staff get grumpy and act like the world owes them something if they get a little busy. I really can't fault this hotel on these points. If I had to mention a small flaw, it would be this: when I'm consulting or discussing something, I express my thoughts and needs very clearly. I then expect the other person to also communicate clearly with me, instead of just saying, ”This is hotel policy, we have rules.” Every hotel and every place has its own rules, which is normal. But every rule has a purpose and a rationale behind it. At the very least, you can explain what the rule is for and what its objective is. As a customer, I'm not unreasonable. I'm communicating with you politely and understandingly, and my requests aren't overly excessive. Even if it slightly deviates from your rules, you can explain why. Don't just keep saying ”rules, rules.” This kind of empty expression is completely unconvincing and only makes the customer uncomfortable. I've seen many disputes and arguments between hotel staff and customers that stem from this: the customer says something, and the staff just says ”rules,” but can't explain why the rules are there. Who can feel good about that? On this point, Echo at the front desk and the gentleman with glasses in the restaurant were excellent and very professional. In their communication, a single sentence would clarify the meaning of the rule, and your questions would naturally be resolved. Unlike some of the younger female staff who only say ”rules” without explaining anything else, leaving customers with questions and frustration, making them feel like they've committed a grave sin for not conforming to the ”rules.” These are just minor imperfections, and I hope everyone can continue to improve. Overall, the hotel is excellent, and I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Harbin.

As a budget-conscious traveler who's stayed in Beijing, Tianjin, Chengdu, Xi'an, and now Harbin, I subjectively feel that the Ritz-Carlton Harbin is the absolute bottom tier for Ritz-Carltons in mainland China. At the very least, their service should be on par. They couldn't customize my room key, claiming it's only for Titanium members and above. The Lion (Ritz-Carlton's member discount) isn't honored here; other Ritz-Carltons offer at least a 10% discount, but this one directly stated, ”We're not part of the same system as other Ritz-Carltons.” The breakfast selection was extensive, but the kitchen staff were chatting without masks (though it might have been about work). What was truly outrageous was seeing a male employee at the workstation talking on the phone with one hand while the other hand was directly in a wok, stirring noodles (likely fried noodles) with his bare hands. During breakfast, my family and I hadn't even been eating for half an hour when three different servers repeatedly approached us asking if they could clear our plates, even though there were empty tables around and no one waiting. I had already politely but firmly told the first server that we would be leaving in five minutes at most, yet two more still came to ask about clearing the plates. This is something I've never experienced at any other five-star hotel. I am truly unsatisfied with the service during this stay at the Ritz-Carlton Harbin.

Facilities: Very good. Since it's the off-season, some pools are under maintenance and not all are open, but there are still enough to use. Cleanliness: Very clean. The water in the hot spring pools is crystal clear. Service: All the staff I encountered were very warm and friendly. The waitress selling drinks and ice cream in the hot spring area was especially thoughtful. I accidentally bumped and injured my leg, and she proactively helped me get ice and a towel for a cold compress, and kept asking if I needed any further assistance with genuine concern.

Extended Stay Benefits · Breakfast: The front desk didn't register my breakfast, so on the second day, I had to waste half an hour at the restaurant sorting it out. They have a juicer at breakfast where you can make your own juice with the available food, which is great. Facilities: Very new. Conveniently located near the mall. The washing machine and gym are good. Environment: A hotel accompanying the convention center, located inside it. Service: They have a concierge but no actual service. Couldn't borrow an umbrella when it rained.

Staying at Qushe B&B in Yabuli for a summer getaway was absolutely delightful! The guesthouse is surrounded by lush greenery, and when you open the window, all you see are mountains and forests. The air is so fresh, it feels like a natural oxygen bar. The room was tastefully decorated, and both the AC and fan worked great. I didn't even need the AC at night; the mountain breeze was wonderfully cool. The owner also recommended some nearby hiking trails, where the streams gurgled along, and the scenery was unbelievably beautiful. Breakfast included freshly picked blueberries and farm-fresh eggs – healthy and delicious. In the evening, I relaxed in the yard, stargazing and listening to the sounds of insects. It was so incredibly peaceful. I'll definitely be back next summer for another vacation. This place is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life!

This hotel is located in Songbei District, Harbin. While not in the city center, it's very convenient for self-driving travelers as it offers free parking. The facilities, including a gym, a small children's play area, and a swimming pool, are well-suited to the hotel's positioning. What's more, the price during the National Day holiday was fantastic, and I could even use culture and tourism vouchers for a discount. I'm extremely satisfied!
