Highly recommend the Wellesley Hotel Changsha Meixi Lake! My stay here exceeded expectations, it was truly relaxing and rejuvenating ✨
🔹Exceptional Butler Service: The 24-hour butler service was incredibly responsive, meticulous, and thoughtful. From guiding me through check-in to handling requests, they were proactive and enthusiastic, paying attention to every detail, which made me feel incredibly welcome.
🔹Rich and Delicious Breakfast: The semi-buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of options, blending Chinese and Western cuisine. The freshly prepared Changsha rice noodles and the semi-buffet items were authentic and fresh, satisfying my taste buds completely.
🔹Wonderful Late-Night Dessert: The surprising late-night sweet soup was delicately sweet and comforting with an excellent texture. Enjoying it late at night was particularly warming and soothing, adding a great touch to the ambiance.
The hotel's environment is elegant and tranquil, and both the service and dining are impeccable. It's an excellent choice for a vacation in Changsha; I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Guest UserA very pleasant stay! 😊 The hotel service was excellent. A week before our arrival, a concierge called to confirm our check-in time and asked if we needed any children's amenities since we were traveling with my son. We booked a two-bedroom suite, which was fully equipped and comfortable. The kitchen had a microwave, a capsule coffee machine, a large refrigerator (which was clean and odorless), and a washing machine. There were two bathrooms, not huge, but perfectly adequate. The master suite bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower, and the water pressure was great and very comfortable. The hotel is relatively close to bustling areas like Wuyi Square and IFS (International Finance Square), about a twenty-minute drive. Those with good stamina could even walk. However, due to the hot weather, we mostly took taxis, which were inexpensive, usually around ten to twenty RMB to popular attractions.
For Orange Isle, taxis have restrictions, so we opted for the subway. The hotel is less than a 10-minute walk to Furong Square Metro Station. From there, it's just 3 stops on Line 2 to Orange Isle Metro Station, and the attraction entrance is right outside, which was very convenient. During our four-day stay, the front desk staff and servers were all very welcoming, always greeting guests warmly whenever they saw them.

Guest UserWe stayed in the 'Egg Party' themed family room with our child, and they absolutely loved it! The special children's beds and VR games kept them entertained to the point they didn't want to leave. The front desk and concierge staff were all very enthusiastic, and the online customer service was super responsive, answering our questions promptly. From our room, we could even admire the beautiful view of Yuelu Mountain. The hotel's direct access to the subway and a shopping mall downstairs made getting around incredibly convenient. The heated swimming pool also had a children's massage pool, which both adults and kids enjoyed. The service was very attentive too. We'll definitely be back!

PinfanMy stay at the InterContinental Changsha North Star was far beyond my expectations, I just had to give it a huge thumbs up!
📍Prime Location: The hotel is situated in the heart of Beichen Delta, where the Xiang River and Liuyang River meet, offering a true 270° panoramic river view. From my room, I could take in Orange Isle and Yuelu Mountain, watch the sunset paint the river gold in the evening, and marvel at the dazzling lights along both banks at night – the night view from Fuyuan Road Bridge was breathtaking! Plus, the hotel has direct access to the Beichenhui shopping mall on the first floor, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient, even on a rainy day.
🛏️Room Comfort: The rooms start at 40 sqm, spacious and bright. The floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows and observation balcony provide unbeatable views. The signature InterContinental bedding is just the right firmness, ensuring a sound night's sleep. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the amenities are from a high-end brand. Some room types even have a scenic bathtub, making a soak with a river view feel truly luxurious. The soundproofing in the room is excellent, ensuring a very quiet stay.
🍽️Exceptional Dining: The breakfast at the All-Day Dining restaurant offers a super rich variety. You absolutely must try a bowl of freshly made Changsha rice noodles, complete with chopped chili, pickled long beans, and various toppings – truly authentic local flavor! There's a dedicated person managing the coffee machine, keeping things smooth even during busy periods. The Hunan cuisine at the Xiangxiu Chinese Restaurant on the first floor is also very authentic; you can savor the taste of Changsha without even leaving the hotel.
💁Impeccable Service: From the front desk to room service, every staff member was warm, professional, and always ready to help. The hotel pool water is very clean, and the gym is well-equipped. The hotel opens right onto the riverbank, making a stroll along the river in the morning or evening a wonderfully refreshing experience.
In summary, the InterContinental Changsha North Star excels in river views, brand service, and dining quality. Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, it's the top choice in Changsha. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Guest UserService: The service attitude is excellent, they're always responsive to requests. Messages to their WeChat customer service were answered instantly, especially by Wendy and Clara. All staff members were very polite. There were two thoughtful details: a handwritten welcome card from the housekeeping staff, and on the second day, they replenished more drinking water after noticing our high consumption. Also, staff and concierges would avoid sharing an elevator with guests.
Ambiance: The lobbies on the first and sixth floors have a nightclub-esque style, with space and astronaut elements everywhere. The outdoor balcony on the sixth floor in the evening was very comfortable; enjoying the sunset with a gentle breeze and a 'Cha Yan Yue Se' drink was incredibly pleasant.
Transportation: Although the location isn't ideal for popular attractions (takes a bit longer to get there), transportation is convenient. There's a metro Line 2 station downstairs on Changsha Avenue, and taxis are readily available. It's only two metro stops from Changsha South Station.
Facilities: Compared to similarly-rated hotels in Guangdong, the room size is a bit smaller, but the layout is well-designed. Upon entering, there's a wardrobe acting as a buffer, so you don't see the bed directly. The corner by the entrance is perfect for luggage, and the toilet and shower are separated on opposite sides. The soft amenities are also great: Dyson hairdryer, Nespresso coffee machine, and a wide variety of drinks in the fridge, including beer, carbonated drinks, and local Changsha specialties.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness was excellent, and there were no odors in the restroom.
Breakfast Service Extended until 2 PM: This is a rare service for many hotels. No need to rush to eat breakfast early, definitely a thumbs-up! Plus, they switch to lunch at 12 PM, so even late risers don't have to worry about going to the restaurant at 11 or 12 and finding nothing to eat.
Bar: There are different live singers every night, creating a nice atmosphere. Bartender Zhang Yang provided attentive service; I felt my 'Changsha County Chronicles' cocktail was too sweet, so he remixed a new one according to my taste.

Guest UserThe location is excellent, right next to Exit 4 of the subway station. It's super convenient to reach all the popular spots on Metro Line 2. Plus, when heading to Orange Isle, you're going against the crowds, which is a huge bonus! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful, always going the extra mile to assist guests. When I was leaving with my luggage to catch a ride-share, they even helped guide the car to the lobby entrance and loaded my bags for me – I really appreciate that! The room layout is well-designed and practical, and the hotel is quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep!

Guest UserExcellent service! This has to be the best family-friendly hotel I've ever stayed in, bar none! And I'm not a shill! We booked a deluxe twin room and it was upgraded, and they took great care of both the elderly and children. The included Ocean Kingdom, Water World, and Snow World were all super fun and offered a great experience, comparable to Chimelong. Front desk staff member Wendy Huang also provided excellent service. The only minor downsides were that while the breakfast buffet was plentiful, if you went for dinner late, the food selection might be a bit limited. Also, it would be even better if the hotel shuttle bus had more frequent runs!

Guest UserThe hotel is well located. Right next to the walking street and the old town compound. IFS mall is directly below for shopping.
Excellent views from the tallest building in Changsha.
The staff were very accommodating; they gave us early check in and late check out, for no extra cost, to ensure we had the best experience for our one night trip.
Their recommendations were great too. They recommended food and a spa, both had excellent service and treated us well.
I recommend Niccolo for your stay in Changsha!

Guest UserThis hotel is quite unique, with individual villa-style accommodations. The grounds are filled with lush greenery, well-maintained and with beautiful colorful flowers. The resort is expansive, making it convenient to park if you have your own car, or you can use their shuttle service.
It's right next to Window of the World and the Undersea World, as well as where Hunan TV films its shows, which is quite popular. I didn't get to the gym, and the swimming pool isn't in the same building as the rooms; it's in another building. It's an indoor heated pool, which was quite pleasant, and thankfully, it wasn't too crowded when I went.
The staff I encountered were all very friendly, and the front desk was patient and helpful in resolving any issues. My room was clean and tidy, and the service staff were very welcoming.
