The hotel is located right within the Dongfengyun Scenic Area, and I honestly think it's the best hotel both inside and around the area! You can enter and exit the scenic area 24/7, allowing you to fully enjoy both the day and night views. During Chinese New Year, there were even light and dance shows, making the night scenery mysteriously stunning. The hotel itself is an Instagram-worthy spot with a fantastic design; every photo turns out great, so definitely set aside time to explore it slowly. There's a shuttle cart service from the hotel to the scenic area, and within the area, you can use the shuttle carts or rent a small electric scooter for a fee. I wouldn't recommend walking as it's sunny and vast, not very suitable for the elderly.
**Facilities**
We stayed in a suite with two rooms, and it was super spacious – easily accommodating our family of six. Snacks, drinks, and water were proactively refilled, which was a thoughtful touch. The only minor drawback was that the air conditioning wasn't cooling during Chinese New Year, so it was a bit warm during the day. We had to open the windows for ventilation to sleep. The hot spring area incurs an additional charge, so you can experience it if you wish.
**Cleanliness**
It was clean and tidy, with prompt housekeeping. There were no unpleasant odors, and both public areas and rooms were cleaned very promptly. Drinking water supply was unlimited and delivered to the room as needed.
**Dining**
The breakfast spread was rich, and the restaurant's location was superb, creating a fantastic ambiance for eating and taking photos. Lunch and dinner were on the pricier side and not very extensive, but the taste was decent. If you have time, I'd recommend heading into Mile city to try local delicacies instead.
**Surroundings**
It's a 10-minute drive from the high-speed rail station, but a bit far from the city center and the Mile Giant Buddha. For a day trip or two-day trip, I'd suggest booking a private car. The nearby wineries aren't particularly special, so you can skip them. The hotel itself is worth staying at for two or three days, perfect for a vacation.
**Summary**
High aesthetic appeal, excellent location, quiet, and comfortable. Highly recommended for family trips, couples' getaways, especially for those who love taking photos, travel photography, and exploring Dongfengyun in depth!

This hotel is located in the Gaozhuang scenic area, just a few minutes from the night market! Downstairs, there are all sorts of great food options, leisure activities, and massage services. Being right on the Lancang River, you get amazing, wide-open river views with plenty of natural light.
The facilities are complete, the bedding is comfortable, and everything is clean!
The hotel's breakfast restaurant also offers river views, and the breakfast spread is rich and varied. The front desk service is warm and attentive; they even gave us a welcome gift, which was a lovely touch!
I sincerely recommend this place.
A must-stay in this lifetime! You won't regret it!
This is a designer boutique hotel with only about 30 rooms. The moment the elevator doors opened, I was absolutely stunned by what I saw! Check-in was easy and straightforward, and the staff were gentle and patient.
The single room's design taste was impeccable, and checking in during sunset made it even more beautiful. The room details were excellent – mouthwash, laundry detergent, facial tissues, and face towels were all provided. They also offer breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks. I thought the late-night snack was just a gimmick, but when I tried it, I found out it's made to order and truly fantastic.
The absolute best part is the 11th-floor rooftop pool and the 'secret corner.' From there, you can overlook the entire city of Kunming. If the weather hadn't gotten colder, I would have loved to take a dip in the pool. This is the first time I've encountered a hotel that looks even better in real life than in its promotional photos!
I sincerely hope this hotel continues to thrive.
I'll definitely be back to stay again!

Hyatt Regency Lijiang is not far from Shuhe Ancient Town. It's a garden-style hotel, and the entire property itself is a picturesque garden worth visiting, with beautifully distinctive Naxi architectural elements. The rooms are spacious and bright, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and everything is spotlessly clean. The hotel's breakfast offers a rich variety, in addition to regular items, there are also special Yunnan dishes like rice noodles, Ersi (rice cakes), Rubing (fried cheese), and Baba (pancakes), which are all very unique. The food at Dianxiangyuan restaurant is also excellent. Jennifer, the front desk attendant, provided warm and thoughtful service, meticulously explaining the operating hours and features of each functional area and proactively checking in on our stay experience. The hotel grounds are pleasant, the air is fresh, and it's quiet and comfortable. Every morning, opening the window reveals stunning views of the snow-capped mountains and the lake, and on clear days, you can even witness the 'Golden Mountain in Sunlight' phenomenon.
A great weekend!!
Caught up with Mother's Day, I took my mother to rest for a day. I felt super relaxed from the moment I entered the hotel. The environment is beautiful and the green vegetation covers a large area. Before check-in, Miss Niki (?) contacted and arranged a room upgrade. I am super grateful🥹You can see the jacaranda and blue sky outside from the balcony and feel the wind.
The quality of the double breakfast and lunch rice noodle set in the set is absolutely impeccable. There are various snacks. You can try all kinds of small bowls. Paoruda is the best😋The lemon and sour spicy chicken feet in the set are super delicious. I also went to the Chinese restaurant to take a portion home before leaving.
Thanks to every staff member I met, including but not limited to Brother Cai Liping at the front desk, Brother Gu Dezhong in the Western restaurant, and a small but energetic lady in the Chinese restaurant (I met her at noon on 5.9/10). I hope I didn’t write everyone’s name wrong🙈
See you next time! ! Definitely come again!

My check-in experience at Holiday Inn Kunming was very satisfying. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the check-in process was efficient and quick. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation access and close proximity to both the city center and major attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, well-equipped, and the bed was soft, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast offered a rich variety, combining both Chinese and Western options to cater to different tastes. Overall, the experience was comfortable and convenient, making it a great choice for business trips or leisure vacations.

A real hidden gem, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Kungming hotel. The staff were very friendly, warm and really helpful, which is an important thing I look for in my stay. The hotel itself was very clean, neat and tidy, the room was beautiful with a large bathtub, clean linen and a comfortable bed. The hotel gives guests a complimentary fruit plate, bottled water and toiletries so no need to bring your own. There is a beautiful park only a two minute walk away, which in April, was in full bloom and worth a visit. I’m gutted I only spent on night there, would highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back and visit again, for longer next time.

Great location with convenient transportation, making it super easy to get to Kunming Old Street and Nanqiang Night Market. The room was spacious, bright, and impeccably clean. Our window faced the library, and nearby were Xima River, Cuihu Park, and the Military Academy, along with plenty of great food spots like Xiaojipo No. 8 and Xilou. There are so many picturesque photo opportunities around! A special shoutout to the front desk staff, especially the kind and warm young man who provided excellent service, offering us a late check-out, complimentary fruit, and rose tea. I'm truly grateful and highly recommend this place to everyone. Thumbs up again! 👍
The hotel environment is quite good (as shown in image 2), and the location is excellent too (as shown in image 3) – right next to a scenic spot. Overall, it was okay. However, the complimentary hot spring pass was really frustrating. It's for only one person, which, honestly, is the first time I've ever encountered that; other hotels usually offer a pass for two. Plus, it's limited to 3 hours... Such strict conditions made me expect a grand hot spring facility, but when I went in, there were fewer than 10 pools open. The children's pool and a large massage pool were cold, and the water even had a layer of grime floating on top. Aside from the staff checking tickets at the entrance, I didn't see a single service person in the entire hot spring area. It's a huge difference compared to Dali Geothermal Park and Huquan Hot Springs I've visited before, where hotel guests have unlimited access with no time limits, and the outdoor hot spring areas are much larger! Also, the tissue box in the hotel room was incredibly broken (as shown in image 1), which really bothered me. Can't they update it? And the hairdryer in my room (1301) was broken too! The only thing I was really happy with was the shower – the water pressure was excellent, which was a big plus.

Good
Rraymond200909On the positive side, the hotel has quite a few recreational facilities, and the room amenities are decent and relatively new.
On the negative side, the biggest problem is the excessive dampness in the room. It was uncomfortable to sleep in, and although the hotel changed the bedding, it didn't help much. This might be due to the humid air during the rainy season in Xishuangbanna, but two things puzzled me: 1) The front desk said no one else had reported this issue before. 2) I stayed at three hotels during this trip, and Zhucheng was the third. The other two were right next to Zhucheng, and their rooms didn't feel noticeably damp.
Also, the hotel room didn't pay enough attention to some details. The sofa arrangement prevented the curtains from closing completely automatically; I had to manually close them. The refrigerator was also quite noisy, which affected my sleep.

Excellent
UUlysess444The hotel's facilities and services are excellent, with many thoughtful details that really show they care about guests. The way to activate the power is unique; instead of inserting a card into a narrow slot, you place it on a tray with a groove at the bottom, which is much simpler, especially in dim lighting. There are plenty of hangers and various surfaces to place your belongings. The smart room control system is very user-friendly, allowing individual control of lights in different areas. The 'disposable' slippers are fantastic – clean, comfortable, and environmentally friendly. The room has a mix of wooden flooring and small area rugs, offering the comfort of a carpet while being easy to keep clean, which is much better than fully carpeted rooms. The toilet is the best I've encountered in a hotel; the heated seat is just the right temperature, not too hot, and the flush is quiet yet very effective. While the wide front of the seat and the automatic sensor for opening and closing the lid aren't groundbreaking features, they significantly enhance the user experience. The shower controls are a bit unique, with two separate switches for the handheld and overhead showerheads. This means you can't control water flow and temperature simultaneously, but you get used to it. If I had to pick a flaw, it would be the toilet paper – it lacks elasticity and tears easily.

GGuest UserAlthough Xi Shuang Ban Na UrCove claims they are a smoke-free hotel, from what I have seen this is not really true. I suggest People who are allergic to cigarette smoke or have health issues related to cigarette smoke definitely go somewhere else. I saw guests as well as hotel employees openly smoking in the front lobby of this hotel. Front desk clerks and supervisor saw this but not only said nothing to the offenders but when I complained about this, the front desk clerk ignored me and glared at me for complaining.
Bedroom: very spacious and clean. beddings and sheets were very clean and comfortable.
Toilet: was a very new style and with a temperature toilet seat
Shower area: It was a disaster. The glass panel dividing the toilet and the shower area was poorly installed, so water from the shower area leaked everywhere. It was quite dangerous because the floor outside the shower was a smooth piece of floor tile. My wife almost slipped and fell down. We immediately told the front desk that night, and all they did was send someone to wipe up the water that's all. There was no follow-up after that.
Breakfast: This has got to be the worst hotel I have ever been to regarding breakfast. The majority of the breakfast items were Chinese food which I have no complaints about, although I do not eat Chinese breakfast. The biggest problem was, when we went for breakfast after 9:15 am there were lots of emptied food containers and plates which was used to hold breakfast food items. Breakfast was supposed to end at 10:00 am. 9:15 am NO croissant, Not even a simple slice of bread which I can make toast with. I also checked the Chinese food items and lots of containers were emptied as well. I then went to ask a staff where I could at least get a piece of bread. Her answer was, there isn't anymore sliced bread and what you see is what you get. There was hardly anything to eat?!?!?! I was furious and I demanded to have a couple of pieces of sliced bread. In the end, kitchen staff Mr. Wang came to my rescue and cooked me and my wife each two fried eggs. On top of it, Mr. Wang went out to get me sliced bread from outside the hotel so that my wife will at least have something to eat for breakfast. On the second day of breakfast, there was no coffee after 9:15 am as the coffee machine went into cleaning mode for at least half an hour. The chief of Chef did end up helping me to get a cup of coffee but from what I can see, this hotel is NOT ready to receive international guests.
Totally disappointed in the Urcove Xi Shuang Ban Na. Totally not the Hyatt standard at all. I really believe Hyatt management in Texas really should not take the risk of damaging their great brand by letting this hotel be branded with Hyatt's Name. The way this Xi Shuang Ban Na Urcove is operating, they are worse than locally managed/owned hotels.

GGuest UserIf you book early, you can also get a free horseback riding experience. The fee includes three meals a day, you can swim, catch fish in the stream, watch the sunrise and sea of clouds, taste coffee and pick coffee beans. It is definitely a treasure manor. It was New Year's Eve, and we prepared a self-service stir-fry, which tasted good. The self-service beef hot pot was also great, with many varieties, delicious beef, and self-service drinks. What else do you want a bicycle?
Xxiaoxiao061804Jun Mansion is a really great hotel with a distinct design and excellent facilities. The room rate included four meals, and even though there was some repetition in the food, it showed a lot of effort. I especially loved the Crossing-the-Bridge Noodles at lunchtime – so unique and delicious! The mattress was also incredibly comfortable; I slept wonderfully at night. When I checked out, I accidentally left my charging plug and cable in the room, and the hotel staff were so kind and helpful, arranging for SF Express to send them to my next hotel. They also have a 'Republic of China Photo Studio,' which sounds really interesting, but unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to experience it. Jianshui is a historic city, and instead of adopting the common traditional black-tiled roof architectural style of most old houses, the hotel features interior design elements from the Republic of China era. This reflects the city's past blend of Chinese and Western cultures, which is a really interesting approach. The only thing I'd like to point out is the English sign at the hotel parking entrance that says 'Welcome to put up at Jun Hotel.' This phrasing is very old-fashioned and rarely seen in international hotels anymore. I suggest changing it to 'Welcome to Jun Hotel' or 'Welcome to stay at Jun Hotel.' Of course, perhaps the use of 'put up' was an intentional nod to the Republic of China era context! 😊
DDaidai## Facilities:
The hotel boasts numerous smart amenities, including smart toilets, digital TVs, smart home systems, and a mini-fridge. The 3rd floor also features a swimming pool, laundry room, and gym, which are all quite good.
## Environment:
The rooms are clean and comfortable. Lower floors facing the street can be noisy, so I recommend requesting a higher floor or a room facing the inner courtyard.
## Location:
The hotel is conveniently located close to the Starlight Night Market and Gaozhuang, making it very accessible.
## Service:
The front desk staff are polite, greet guests with a standing welcome, and promptly answer questions and provide directions. Check-in and check-out processes are also very efficient, which is commendable.

GGuest UserChoosing this hotel during my trip to Ning'er was definitely the right decision.
First, the location: it's easy to find, and parking is convenient with both above-ground and underground parking. The surrounding area isn't particularly bustling, but it has all the necessary restaurants and small shops selling daily necessities. Most importantly, it's incredibly quiet at night, allowing me to sleep soundly until dawn.
The front desk staff were efficient and straightforward; check-in was completed in just a few minutes. Adding their assistant also resulted in receiving a hotel check-in guide and travel tips.
My first impression of the room was its cleanliness. I'm a bit picky, but the sheets and bathroom were impeccable, without any musty or disinfectant smells. The hot water was strong enough, perfect for a relaxing shower. The internet speed was also fast, allowing me to work or watch movies without any buffering.
What surprised me most was the small garden. Taking a stroll there in the morning to breathe in some fresh air, or sitting there for a smoke in the evening, is much better than being cooped up in the room.
Overall, it's not flashy, but it does everything you need well; it's the kind of place where you feel your money was well spent. If I come here again next time, I'll definitely stay here again.
KKevin and ZuzannaPoor Experience - Constant Smoke and Noise Throughout Stay
The Good:
Welcome tea upon arrival was a nice touch
Complimentary sweet drinks in mini fridge (first day only)
Tea and drip coffee sachets provided with kettle
Breakfast cakes were fresh and well-made
Spacious shower
Decent desk and relaxation chair in room
Nice gym and roodtop
The Bad:
MAJOR ISSUE - Smoke Everywhere:
The corridor constantly smelled of smoke. Men smoked in the lobby - some appeared to be affiliated with ownership as they treated the place like their own property and staff spoke to them like friends or family. Staff did absolutely nothing to enforce no-smoking policies even after being told. People also smoked in the corridor, and I could smell it from my small window even on the top floor.
MAJOR ISSUE - Constant Noise:
Lobby and corridors always noisy with loud customers
Same men from lobby playing phone calls or video games on speaker very loudly
Guests constantly slamming doors at all hours, including early morning - very inconsiderate
Large groups being very noisy in corridors
Rooster on neighboring rooftop starting early morning (first day)
Very regular loud banging noise from ceiling in my room (first day)
Drilling noise next door during the day for extended periods
Friday night: company party in conference room with dozens of people screaming VERY loud for hours, continuing well into sleep time hours. They were smoking too.
Service Issues:
Reception staff during check-in seemed unwilling to serve me because I'm not Chinese, making it more difficult for them. I've stayed at plenty of hotels across all Chinese provinces where staff use translation tools - it's not that hard. The service was quite chaotic and time/energy consuming for me.
I was told I could request housekeeping at a specific time, so I did. More than one hour later nothing was done, so I asked again and was told ”housekeeping is having lunch now.”
Food delivery via robot malfunctioned; food ended up back at reception inside the robot and I had to queue to ask about it
Cleanliness Concerns:
Cutleries such as forks and spoons in breakfast room looked very dirty
Tea mugs in my room had tea residue still in them - they clean the mugs in the sink with their finger which is gross
Mini fridge drinks not replenished after first night
Facility Issues:
Swimming pool closed despite online information saying it should be open
Common areas including lobby very cold with no heating - people dress like they're outside. Not comfortable, convenient, or homey
Firm mattress (personal preference)
Shower handle won't stay in place, keeps moving to the side
Limited storage space in room
Breakfast finishes a bit early at 10am. Food looks fresh, some egg options if you're vegetarian, but it's mostly Chinese food so quite oily. Cakes are very nice though, seem fresh and well-made.
Would not recommend - the smoke and noise issues alone make this place impossible to rest properly.
GGuest UserThe room was bright and comfortable, and they were able to add an extra bed for us. The hotel's location is superb; you can literally see the 'golden mountains' (sun-kissed peaks) from your bed. The constant birdsong and refreshing breeze made for an absolutely wonderful experience! Beyond that, the hotel's service was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Daily afternoon tea, evening sweet tea, and more were all provided. The nightly bonfire party had a great atmosphere. We stayed two nights, and the hotel even offered pick-up and drop-off service. Getting to and from Yuhu Village wasn't too far, allowing us to escape the hustle and bustle and truly feel like we were on a vacation. I highly recommend the various activities organized by the hotel. We went horseback riding to the Grand Canyon, which was honestly the best travel experience this Chinese New Year! While people were queuing for hours at the Yulong Snow Mountain cable car outside, we were able to relax and enjoy our holiday here. This hotel definitely deserves a huge thumbs up! Five-star review!

MM2be7dsk1****I've stayed in many guesthouses, and this time I chose Guanxin Guesthouse online. First and foremost, their service is excellent. Their housekeeper contacted us a day in advance to ask about our arrival time and came out to pick us up. They also offered afternoon tea, and what touched me most was their complimentary late-night sweet soup – so thoughtful! The room was very cozy, and the biggest surprise was the underfloor heating, which wasn't an extra charge. I feel really lucky to have found such a hidden gem this time.
