The hotel is conveniently located very close to Kyoto Station, and they even offer a thoughtful shuttle service to and from the station. The facilities are excellent, with a grand and opulent lobby, and the front desk staff provide smiling service, including Chinese-speaking staff, which was a very warm and welcome touch. The rooms are well-equipped, comfortable, spacious, and bright. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. There are shopping malls and supermarkets nearby, making it easy to get around and find plenty of shopping and dining options. The autumn leaves are beautiful right now, and Ctrip offered a great price.

This traditional onsen hotel is very spacious, and the rooms are also quite large, maintaining the charm of a classic hotel. The hot spring baths are incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast is abundant (especially the freshly baked French croissants, served warm, which I paired with red bean paste and cheese – absolutely heavenly, I had three and still wanted more!). The polite service from the staff was truly delightful. Most of the guests were ********* tour groups and Japanese independent travelers. If you're visiting Miyazu, this is definitely the onsen hotel to choose; it's an unparalleled option for great value for money.

The location is the biggest advantage, right inside the JR train station. Kyoto Theater is downstairs from the hotel. Across the street is Isetan, and downstairs is the Porta shopping mall, which has countless dining options. In front of the station, there are taxi and bus stops. Behind the station are various long-distance bus terminals and hotel shuttle stops, as well as the airport shuttle station. The entire commercial area is well-designed, and the hotel is perfectly situated within it. The room size is generous, allowing 2-3 large suitcases to be laid flat. The bathroom features a wet/dry separation, and the toilet has its own private space. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The location is absolutely unbeatable – incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. It's truly super comfortable, easily one of the best hotels I've stayed at recently. The high-ceilinged lobby was wonderfully cool and had a lovely fragrance. Our room also had a pleasant, subtle woody scent. The bed was soft yet firm, and the lighting was cleverly designed to be bright and warm without being harsh on the eyes. Crucially, the bathroom shower had fantastic water pressure, making for a really comfortable wash, and the hairdryer was excellent too. **Facilities:** Brand new and impeccable – couldn't ask for more. **Cleanliness:** Spotless. As someone with a dust mite allergy, I had no issues with rhinitis during my entire stay. **Service:** The 24-hour front desk provided prompt responses and truly excellent service. This stay was absolutely worth every penny. The soundproofing was superb; even with motorcycles revving on the street below, the noise was barely audible. Plus, the blackout curtains ensured the room was completely dark. If I didn't have other plans, I would have gladly extended my stay indefinitely, even if it meant commuting an hour daily to other areas. It's also very close to Yakiniku Kou, which is delicious. Nishiki Market is great for exploring too. I'll definitely be back. In fact, I'd even plan another trip to Kyoto just to stay here again.

Found out that the car parking is only available before 11pm when we called to say we might check in later than usual. Had a bit of problem trying to understand the staff that was on duty that night as he could not speak much English. Parking attendant was nice though. Room is big and clean though.

The location is fantastic, not far from Nanzen-ji Temple. The service is warm and attentive, and the hotel environment is superb, especially the beautiful gardens and the healing views from the rooftop. The room is spacious, with new and complete facilities. The toiletries exceeded my expectations, and the Huading hot spring bath experience was excellent. The hotel's shuttle bus service is very thoughtful, offering rides to the station, Sanjo, and Shijo. It truly lives up to its reputation as a long-standing national guesthouse. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Kyoto!

We book the hotel with private onsen, the room and services are great, only one compaint with the dinner and breakfast. Hope they can be improved, dinner was not well prepared but presentation was nice. The meat was really poor quality for shabu while the beef steak contained too much fast for grill by ourselves

Could have give it 5stars if the bathroom is clean and not smell urine so bad. Others than that breakfast was awesome, Customer service was top not, location is perfect to go everywhere. Also they said they have bus service every 15 minutes to Kyoto station which is not true, we waited forever 1.5 hours or so, but they never came. We saw others hotel busses came by several times. I didn’t confront this to the front desk tho. We was taxi everywhere and it was cheap, furthest would be 20 minutes taxi drive and about 3,000 yen which is reasonable.

Online hotel bookings can often feel like a blind box draw, but Dusit Thani was definitely the right pick. Every staff member I encountered had an excellent attitude, the room was spotless, and even though the turndown service only provided a bottle of water, it was a pleasant and thoughtful touch. Thai brands truly excel in their service consciousness and aesthetic sense. The room itself was incredibly comfortable, and with no other guests in the public lobby areas, I thoroughly enjoyed the bliss of reading a book alone.

The advantages are that the surrounding environment is relatively quiet, there are relatively few guests, and there will not be too many problems with the service process; the disadvantages are average cost performance, the landscaping is very rough and does not meet the quality of this price range, especially the hotel restaurant is not recommended, the price is expensive and the taste is very average, the breakfast is also very ordinary, and other means of transportation except taking a taxi are basically walking, and the air conditioner is a bit noisy.

GGuest UserThe price doubles and goes up. I have stayed in this hotel many times. It always feels good. I came here again after many years and felt that the overall service and the quality of the food in the hotel were much worse. In particular, the service may be understaffed during the peak season, but it is indeed a very good hotel. Be sure not to make any mistakes when booking a hotel, otherwise he will be unkind and only care about money!

__WeChat28707****This is the hotel I was most looking forward to and the least happy about during my entire trip. I booked two nights for RMB 15,000. I arrived at the hotel at 22:00 on the first day. I could only check in at the lobby of the Westin ordinary room. I didn’t get any special reception. The guy at the front desk had the coldest attitude in the hotel during the entire trip. You can't even squeeze out a smile. When I was going through the process, something unexpected happened. The employee in charge of Kaishuien (who was not wearing a kimono, but was dressed in the clothing department) was very serious and even said to me with a black face, ”You, immediately, tell your child not to have sex” Stomping in the lobby! I even thought I heard it wrong, because the lobby was a very empty traditional lobby, and not even a single guest was seen at night. I don’t know who was affected. I felt that she just hated children, so she issued such an order. I immediately called the two children After being quieter, she rolled her eyes and said nothing. When you first meet someone, you don't even give a warm greeting or greeting, but you start criticizing the guest. Is this the etiquette that your Jia Shui Garden should have? When we got to our room, it was even more exaggerated. She wouldn't let my two children talk! This is a suite, I don't understand why kids can't play in the room to express happiness and excitement? The introduction was always very robotic, and in the end, he actually accused my child of not putting his feet on the table. When the child heard that the sister didn't like him, he immediately hid, and the whole process was like a dean of discipline who kept scolding the child! This is the room I booked. It is my right to use it how I use it. How can I feel like I am living under someone else's roof? Finally, I couldn't help but politely argued with her, and rolled my eyes a few times. I want to ask what level of executive you are? Dare you treat your customers like this? Finally, I suppressed my anger and sent her away. I was so angry that I couldn't sleep all night. I have never felt so uncomfortable staying in a hotel! The next day her leader went to work. She was a very professional and attentive older lady wearing a kimono. Her service was very good. Only then did she realize that the last woman was a low-level employee responsible for cleaning and food delivery! It’s really a big deal! Fortunately, the people I contacted later were very polite and received meticulous care, but my mood was really deeply affected by this person on the first day! ! ! I regret not taking a picture of this person's name tag, but if you check with the hotel, you will definitely find it. It was a waiter in her 20s with bangs who received us on the first night. Finally, in fact, if you book a regular room for 1,000 a night, you can also visit Jiashui Garden. You don't have to pay ten times the price to make a big mistake, especially if you step on the thunder like me, the gain will outweigh the loss.
