The hotel is directly opposite JR Station, making it super convenient to get around. Hakodate Morning Market is right behind it, and it's just a 20-minute walk to the Hakodateyama Ropeway. This is actually the hotel featured in the Detective Conan movie 'The Million-Dollar Pentagram,' and it's filled with Conan-themed elements! The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast spread is fantastic.

Such a beautiful place! Service is top notch from the entrance to check in! Absolutely love this cosy place! Rooms were large and has the best view of the lake! The open air rooftop onsen was so pretty, it felt like we were with the seagulls flying past! The dinner and breakfast were top notch! We would love to come back again! The views were truly breath taking! No regrets about booking here! They have bicycles if you want to ride around the lake, rent them at Select 108. Oh and your doggo is welcomed here too!

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the main attractions, but the service is excellent. You can even store your luggage a day in advance. It's super convenient for getting around, as it's not tied to one specific metro station, meaning you have easy access to many lines.

Very comfortable stay for my family!! Room is big, clean and nice, facing nice view, woke up happily everyday. Sufficent space for us to open luggage. breakfast is delicious and large variety as well, front desk and staff are so polite, the only downside is it’s like 8 mins walk from Sapporo station, tho it’s only a straight line walk, not hard to navigate. If I were to go back Hokkaido for trip, will book again!!!

Coming from the airport, there's a direct bus to Hakodate Station, and the hotel is very close to the station. The front desk service was excellent. On the first floor, they have thoughtful travel guides and restaurant recommendations. The large public bath was very relaxing.

Dai-ichi Takimoto lived up to its reputation! The bathhouse is wonderfully spacious with a great variety of pools, so much so that there's even a recommended bathing sequence – I only discovered it on the steam room's exterior wall on my second day, and it was quite an eye-opener! There are also three charming outdoor pools with beautiful views. The staff were all very attentive. We didn't book dinner, but breakfast was fantastic – a rich selection of high-quality dishes. (Note: there aren't many restaurants on the hot spring street outside, especially in the evening. I'd recommend the ramen shop for lunch and the seafood rice at the onsen market for dinner.) The twin room in the South Wing was very spacious, the facilities were modern, and the view from the window was lovely. My only gripe is the somewhat impractical layout. Firstly, I'm not sure if it's because of the integrated bathroom unit, but the bathroom itself was tiny and cramped, forcing us to use the main bathhouse in the mornings and evenings. Secondly, the wardrobe was placed in an awkward spot, making it inconvenient to open and access clothes. I genuinely suggest they visit some mid-range hotels in China, like those under the HUAZHU Group's Ji Hotel brand, to see how they ingeniously solve these design challenges.

The room was spacious enough for four suitcases. We also enjoyed the hot spring bath upstairs. My travel companions loved it! There's a convenience store right downstairs, which was very handy. I especially loved the pillows in the room; I slept so well every night that I wish I could buy one to take home. It's only a 10-minute walk to Daimaru, Susukino, and Tanukikoji. The airport limousine bus from New Chitose Airport stops right in front of the hotel's South Wing, and for the return trip to the airport, you just need to cross the street to catch the bus. Super convenient! I'll definitely book this place again on my next visit.

I would like to share a small concern regarding my experience at the front desk on March 1, in the hope that it may be helpful for your future service considerations. After checking out from another hotel, we planned a 2‑day, 1‑night trip to Otaru and wished to store our luggage at your hotel beforehand. When we arrived, we were assisted by your staff member, Ms. Hayshi(林）.When we asked whether it was possible to store our luggage, we were informed that storage was limited to one day only. We then explained that we would be returning quite late the following evening and asked if there might be any flexibility or alternative arrangements. However, the response we received felt a little abrupt, including a surprised “Huh?” that left us unsure how to continue the conversation. This made us feel slightly uncomfortable and misunderstood, though we believe it may simply have been a moment of miscommunication. In addition, from the day we inquired about luggage storage until March 4, we noticed that there were still two pieces of luggage stored in the luggage area for several days. We would appreciate some clarification on why those items were allowed to remain for an extended period, as this left us a bit confused about the policy. At the same time, I would also like to express my sincere appreciation for the warmth and professionalism shown by your Assistant Front Office Manager “Faucett mark “during my check‑in. He welcomed me with genuine kindness, clearly explained the procedures and facilities, and made me feel very well taken care of after a long journey. We were there January 2026. Wonderful winter, wonderful snows that no words can describe. Overall we satisfy especially with the cleanliness of the room, bathroom is SUPER CLEAN! Congrats Rembrandt! They provide coffee/tea, kettle, slippers, and cute night gown 😊 in the room. And they tidy up the rooms everyday during our 3days stay. Theres window to view the snows. They also provide coffee making at lobby until night. TQ Rembrandt Style Sapporo

I absolutely loved this Lavista hotel! The breakfast was fantastic, with a great spread including salmon, sweet shrimp, ice cream, and pudding. There's a direct bus to Hakodate Airport right nearby, costing 700 yen, and it's conveniently located next to Meijikan. There are also plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. The Kanemori Red Brick Warehouses are just a 2-minute walk away, which is super handy for buying snacks and souvenirs. The onsen (public bath) was excellent, with good quality body lotion and hair conditioner provided. There were several outdoor baths, which were very relaxing. Plus, after a soak, you get free ice cream! It's about a 15-minute walk to both the Hakodateyama Ropeway and Hakodate JR Station. The views of Mount Hakodate are also beautiful. Highly recommend!
