This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Yantai! The service is excellent, so you don't have to worry about a thing. Gracie Ta, in particular, provided outstanding service; she was polite, attentive, and incredibly enthusiastic. The location is also fantastic and super convenient. You can walk to Suochengli, Chaoyang Street, Yantai Mountain, and Wanda Plaza. The room facilities are great, and the hygiene is impeccable. I highly recommend it!

not sure why. but the temperature inside the room is so hot. had turn off the AC/heater. opened the window. but still no luck. beside that, everything was good beside of the hotel is nice shopping center.

As a frequent business traveler who often stays in five-star hotels across various cities, I rarely give a hotel my unreserved praise, but the MGM Qingdao has thoroughly impressed me with its near-perfect performance. Its facilities and equipment go beyond mere 'high-end' – they reflect a forward-thinking pursuit of quality: the in-room office area is comfortable and convenient, and the high-speed internet is consistently stable and fast. The fitness center is outfitted with a full suite of Technogym equipment, and the experience of running while facing the ocean is unparalleled. The spa, using industry-leading products and techniques, completely melted away my travel fatigue after a 90-minute deep tissue massage. The hotel's ambiance exudes a sophisticated, elegant, and energetic atmosphere. On the service front, MGM Qingdao demonstrates the professionalism and efficiency expected of a top-tier hotel. My dedicated butler called me before check-in to inquire about my preferences, and within ten minutes of my arrival, my preferred buckwheat pillow and extra hangers were delivered. The concierge team possesses extensive local knowledge, providing insider tips like 'the best spot to photograph the sunrise over Zhanqiao Pier in the early morning.' From check-in to check-out, every single aspect operated like a finely tuned clock, yet it was also imbued with human warmth. Without a doubt, MGM Qingdao has set a new benchmark for luxury hotel service in the Shandong region. It will be my undisputed first choice for both future business trips and leisure getaways.

I chose this Shangri-La specifically for the breakfast, but after checking in, I really wished I had stayed somewhere else and just come here for breakfast. The whole place feels a bit dated and lacks character. (If proximity to Baotu Spring is the selling point, there are other options available.) I've stayed at other Shangri-La hotels from the same era and wonder why this one falls so short in comparison.

Ever since deciding in June in Dali to visit Qingdao in September, I booked the Shangri-La Hotel right away! That's because my 'bear baby' (term of endearment for myself) absolutely loves the signature scent at every Shangri-La. Arriving at Shangri-La, I immediately felt right at home. These five days truly felt like being with family. From the Shang Palace to the Café Yum, the Horizon Club Lounge, Concierge, Housekeeping, and Front Desk – every single staff member always had a wonderful smile on their face. I want to give a special shout-out to Benjamin and Rina; they took such excellent care of my 'bear baby'! They thoughtfully looked after my 'bear baby's' every need – food, clothing, accommodation, and transportation – and told me all the best spots for photos and check-ins, among many other things. They were also incredibly patient with my 'bear baby's' 'nagging,' never getting annoyed no matter how busy they were, haha. It was truly exceptional; I was genuinely sad to leave the hotel.

This is a 3-star hotel. It basically met or even exceeded 3-star standards, I'd say it's the pinnacle of 3-star accommodations. The overall impression of the hotel is spacious and bright. From the front desk to the corridors, guest rooms, and restaurant, everything is bright and roomy, meticulously clean, and neatly arranged. While not directly in the tourist area, its location is incredibly convenient. There's a bus stop right outside the entrance; two stops to the left is Dai Temple, and bus route 3 will take you to Hongmen in four stops. The bus stop across the street goes in a different direction, two stops will get you to Tai'an Railway Station, with plenty of dining options nearby. Four more stops in that direction will take you to Tianwai Village, where you can catch a tourist shuttle up the mountain. Honestly, two stops are so close you could easily walk. Because it's not right by the tourist attractions, the hotel feels more like a business hotel than a typical tourist hotel. The hotel's restaurant was particularly impressive. The breakfast selection was very rich, and I especially loved the vegetables. When traveling, you often eat a lot of meat and staples, but vegetables can be hard to come by. This hotel's breakfast offered corn, broccoli, celery, and dried tofu skin, which really helped to make up for the lack of vegetables and fruits often encountered during travel. The restaurant is on the 12th floor. While eating breakfast, you can see Mount Tai in the distance from the window. The room was large and well-equipped, the bed was very comfortable, and the bath towels were thick. The room layout was very sensible; sleeping and showering facilities were completely separate, avoiding any conflicts. The dining, accommodation, and transportation experiences were all top-notch. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Mount Tai.

Sheraton is always the best and the name of quality…..however, this time experience was not good and I never had such a bad experience with the help desk staff. Called them two times for many problems in room and they didn’t even cared, at-last have to go down and talk with them…. Sheraton is never been bad but it’s the staff at that moment.

Facilities: The hotel rooms are quite new and spacious. The soft couch under the TV is great for sitting and storing things. You can see the sea from the balcony, and the beach is just a short walk downstairs. You can even spot seagulls there. Cleanliness: The room was very clean, and the staff were responsible. Any issues we reported were handled immediately. Service: The overall service at the hotel was warm and attentive. As soon as our car arrived at the hotel entrance, staff members were there to help open and close doors and assist with luggage. We were also greeted proactively by staff in the lobby, elevators, and hallways. Ms. Rose, from guest relations, was exceptionally thoughtful; she called us the day before check-in to ask about our arrival time and needs, and even helped arrange a room directly facing the beach. When we found a small stain on the bedsheet after checking in, we reported it to Rose, and within five minutes, the housekeeper and the duty manager came to change it. They also prepared a snack basket and apple juice, which was super nice. When we checked out, Ms. Aiela asked about our stay and even gave us two bags of apple juice. Her service was also excellent.

Jonna at the front desk provided exceptional service! She was enthusiastic, efficient, answered all my questions, and was incredibly patient. My experience was perfect. Her excellent service made me feel so positive about the hotel. I'd recommend it to all my friends who are traveling!

While visiting Taishan looking for a hotel that had connecting rooms or a family suite the options are limited but we found the Jianguo Hidden hotel family suite was perfect for our needs. The hotel is brand new with works still being done on the 1st floor, and swimming pool but this didn't affect our stay. The hotel is built as pert of a residential complex and the interior layout of the rooms reflects the original intent of an apartment meaning the bathroom and toilet are together and a bit squashy. The are is quite new so there isn't much around, but within a short walk there is a bunch of restaurants and a supermarket. A good base to head to Taishan. If you drive an electric car almost all bays in the carpark were fitted with slow chargers, good for an overnight top up..
