"Great stay, very satisfied! Besides the affordable price, finding restaurants is easy – there's a Papa Rich just downstairs. The room is also quite spacious and comfortable. I've stayed in many hotels, but none have been as fully equipped as this. It has a sofa, a coffee table next to the sofa, a sink for washing dishes, and a decently sized fridge. It feels like a studio apartment, but it's a hotel! Definitely worth staying at Wings. Top-notch and highly recommended!"

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is good, close to the train station and the old post office, which now houses some chic restaurants. The hotel exudes the charm of 1970s luxury. The rooms are large with all the amenities of a 5-star hotel. The pool, however, is frequented by many children and feels more like a public swimming bath.
Be prepared to exercise patience at this hotel. You'll wait in line for the elevator, for a table at breakfast, and again at the egg station, all while enduring many restless children. The breakfast buffet isn't just for hotel guests; it's also heavily utilized by local families.
Despite these minor inconveniences, the staff is helpful and friendly. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would return if I come back to Medan.

The staff so kind and soft spoken.. we love the view… Masha Allah.. so beautifull.. event we stay at standard room, we also can get the beatiful view of Danau Toba.. the breakfast was delicious.. this is the first time im going to Indonesia and i can eat all the food.. excellent.. i also like the tour package for free…keep it up..next time if i going to danau toba again, i will stay at waterfall inside Taman Simalem Resort..in Shaa Allah

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at Grand Sakura Hotel Medan and had a very enjoyable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm and friendly attitude. Check-in was quick and hassle-free, which was appreciated after a long journey.
My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, making it easy to rest after a busy day exploring Medan. I especially liked how well the room was maintained and the comfortable bed, which helped me get a good night's sleep every night.
One thing that stood out during my stay was the hospitality of the hotel team. Whenever I had a question or needed assistance, they were always helpful and polite. The breakfast was also a pleasant surprise, with a good selection of local and international dishes to start the day.
The hotel's location was convenient for getting around the city, and overall it offered excellent value for the price. While no hotel is perfect, the combination of friendly service, cleanliness, and comfort made my stay memorable.
Thank you to everyone at Grand Sakura Hotel Medan for making my visit enjoyable. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Medan.

SSIDSThis is hotel was rebranded from Radisson to aiho .. still good condition... The checkin process also excellent.. within 5 minutes I can go straight way to my room.. the only problem is they only have 2 elevator.. sometimes in of that not functioning due to maintenance service..

GGuest UserHotel is well appointed and located. Service is acceptable but we had to wait more than half an hour to check in. On top of that, we were not given the 5 twin rooms we booked and confirmed. We had to settle for 1 kingsize bedded room which was not what we asked for but I had to take the room. This is not expected of a 5 star Marriot hotel. We had made our booking through Trip.com nearly 2 months before our travel date so there is no reason why we could not get our 5 twin rooms when it was confirmed by the hotel. I was very upset but could not wait any longer to check in as we were all very tired. The Receptionist said the hotel was very full but not to be impolite, that is not the customer's problem. Your organisation needs to pull up their socks on delivering what was confirmed without making excuses . To make things worse, when we asked for extension of check out to 2pm, we were flatly refused. They did not even offer to extend 1 or 2 rooms to 2pm although we were a group of 5 rooms that stayed 3 nights in your hotel. We all checked out by 11.30am. I wish I could have had nice things to say about the hospitality and thoughtfulness of the hotel policy but sorry, apart from smiling staff, tgere is nothing more complimentary I can say.

Loved the availability of WatsApp with the hotel, they responded promptly.
Despite 1 set of toiletries for 2 guest, seemed a little silly.
The housekeeper are always very kind to provide more when requested.
Excellent masseuse at the Spa on L2.
Breakfast buffet is sumptuous though the 'top up' is slow after 9am.
Centre point Centre shopping mall is just right behind the hotel.. with variety of f&b, shops & korean supermarket.

ZZhen Q Harman LinWe have glued to this hotel for the last 2 or 3 years😀, everything is good, nothing to complain about. From arrival to check out, all staffs are well trained and functioning well. In this 2026, we have done 2 trips to Medan and stayed here + got the same room as I requested. We are coming back on 20 May and hopefully will get the same room too😊😊

However, the apartment would benefit from some updates, as the mattresses feel quite soft and old. Replacing the mattresses, pillows, and blaket would significantly improve comfort and make the stay even better.
Overall, this is a good place for families looking for a spacious and affordable stay, and with a few upgrades to the bedding, it would be perfect.

GGuest UserThis is our first stop in Berastagi. Hotel is old, room is also old and there are ants around.
It is normal for hotels in Berastagi to not have aircon due to the weather and we are so grateful that the hotel does provide a fan.
Even though Berastagi's weather is cooling, we still need the fan for a good air circulation, so we are happy that the hotel does provide the standing fan on our request.
We had dinner in the restaurant in the hotel and we were greeted by a friendly cat. We are cat lovers so we really enjoy her companion. Food is decent.
Overall our 1 day stay in Sibayak is pleasant because of the customer service. Just hope they can consider to renovate the hotel and make it new, especially the bathroom.
