Great
Yyongsherntys⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) From the moment we arrived at Marasca, we knew we were in for something special. The resort is very well-secured at the entrance, giving us peace of mind right away. The front office team was simply superb—friendly, efficient, and attentive in just the right way. Our porter was quick to assist with our luggage, no fuss, no wait—just seamless service. Although early check-in wasn’t available when we arrived, the hotel’s app made all the difference. Through the app, we could explore the resort, make requests, and track our room status. Eventually, we received a notification that our room was ready—such a convenient system! The room itself? Immaculate! Spotless and thoughtfully designed with a massive bed, a sparkling clean shower area, a cozy separate seating space, and an automated toilet that lifts the cover for you. No-touch toilet seat? That’s a huge bonus! We were also greeted with a delightful welcome basket in the room, packed with special drinks, snacks, and even a handwritten postcard by the General Manager. It was such a warm and personal touch—it’s hard not to fall in love with the place instantly. We did try the spa, and while it’s on the pricier side, the service and facilities were absolutely worth every penny—top-notch from start to finish. Cabanas, the beach club at Marasca, is another highlight. Ultra-chilled vibes, beautifully designed with lush greenery, comfy furniture, and a view that opens right up to Chaweng Beach. It was the perfect place to unwind. Breakfast? Impressive. A great mix of Western and Asian dishes, plus a healthy spread of salads, pastries, yogurt, juices, and smoothies. The little touches like free healthy shots in the morning and ice cream in the afternoon truly made our stay even more enjoyable! Marasca also offers daily activities for guests, so you’ll never run out of things to do. To sum it all up: this is, hands down, the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Huge shoutout to the amazing team—Mo, Tony, Ja, Chet, Jenny, Puppup, Andy, Pui, Golf, and the rest whose names I can’t recall. Your teamwork and hospitality were unforgettable. We will definitely be coming back. See you again, Marasca!

GGuest UserEverything and anything was perfect at the hotel.  Lovely staff, great facilities, very baby friendly and family supportive. The beach is really private and no trespassing of unknown people happening. Staff is ready to assist with any questions and provide any help. For example we asked about nanny and they were keen to help to find it outside of hotel. It is absolutely great. Service, and atmosphere is beyond and your stay is literally crafted for your needs in a calm and relaxing atmosphere.  Hopefully I have a chance to come there again

VViktorLocation: you need to immediately understand that you will need transport. There are a couple of cafes within walking distance, but we didn’t go to them, there weren’t many people there either, except that a couple of times we saw a few farangs having breakfast. Report offers delivery to and from the beach during certain hours. I don’t remember the price: either free, or for a symbolic fee, very low. They also offered to order breakfast and have it delivered to your villa: it’s certainly more expensive than in a regular cafe, but still affordable. We did not use this service, since we would have to plan breakfast time in advance (why?). The beach... we stayed during the daytime low tides, so I can’t say anything good about the sea, but the beach itself is clean and almost deserted. Surprises: we booked a villa with three bedrooms and a living room + a swimming pool. When looking at the photos of the rooms (at the time of booking), I could not understand the location of the room and also could not understand the privacy of the pool. Will the pool be ours alone or will it have to be shared with guests from some other villa. I even looked around on Google Maps, but still didn’t fully understand it. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised that this very villa consists of two separate houses between which there is a swimming pool (not small, but medium in size). One house consists of two bedrooms with separate entrances and separate bathrooms, and the other house consists of a huge living room, dining room, kitchen and bedroom + 2 bathrooms. Grandiose! Another patio. Of the minuses: not very stable wi-fi, TV is brooding. That's all. Air conditioners also do not cool as quickly as we would like, but this is the fault of the building design. A huge area of glazing which is made of single wood. If in the future we install normal aluminum structures with double-glazed windows, it will be possible to achieve a better effect from air conditioners + save on electricity and improve sound insulation. However, air conditioners do their job quite well. It was almost always quiet. Overall everything is ok. This place is worth the money. The owner, Lana, is very friendly and speaks perfect Russian.

JJaAei BBeautiful, comfortable accommodation on a private island. In a nice villa with a private swimming pool, perfect for relaxing. The area around the hotel was calm and shady. The beach in front of the school is private. But you can still see the surrounding view and have a delicious breakfast with both A la carte and food lines. The variety of options is good. The wait staff are very helpful and helpful. Long Tai Restaurant has Michelin Selected food with strong flavors. Thai people definitely like it. The view from the restaurant is very good. Convenient transportation from the airport, not very far distance.

BBennyBenBenStayed for 8 nights at Sala Samui Choengmon Beach Resort. The villa had its own private pool. Very cozy and nice. The breakfast each morning was really nice. There’s a buffet and you also get one a la carte item for breakfast to go with your buffet. So really good. Staff were super friendly and nice. The hotel evening meals were not so good. Nearby restaurants were way better and much better priced. I wished the food was super good for lunch and dinner as it would have been perfect, but unfortunately, the Thai dishes were a bit sub par, over priced and even beers and cocktails were double or triple what you pay elsewhere. Pool staff were friendly and helpful, but I wish the food and drinks at restaurant and bar were reasonably priced so we could have enjoyed it more. Nearby restaurants offer better experience. Mr Eung restaurant nearby had the best food for that area. A short drive to the best restaurant on the island called Supatrra will show you what you wish the resort had. If the manager of the Sala resort went over there and learnt a thing or two about dining then the resort could be greatly improved. Anyway, resort was nice, just the lunch and dinner needs some attention. Good location, clean and tidy. Shower gel and soaps were not the best so had to buy some outside. Don’t forget your mosquito spray. Overall, a nice experience and very relaxing, just wish the food was better. Fun stuff to do nearby, football golf, Thai cooking class, go kart racing, reggae bar, paddle ball courts, tourist shopping at night market, kickboxing show. We hired a scooter, as it’s not really walking distance to anything but a short scooter ride will get you around the island.

MMarielleeGarrya Tonsay Bay was a beautiful and peaceful oasis on Koh Samui! We stayed for a couple of nights and loved the variety of included activities, from morning yoga and Muay Thai to circuit classes, paddle boarding, and snorkeling—all very well organized. The restaurant was excellent; we enjoyed the ”Taste of Northern Thailand” dinner, and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve had. The staff was amazing, incredibly friendly, and attentive to every detail. Highly recommend this relaxing retreat!

YYadiannuozhuzhuThe furniture design in the room had flaws. Photo 1 shows the foot of the bed, where the wooden corners were extremely sharp. My family of three all ended up with scratches or bumps from these corners. If you have young children, this truly poses a significant safety hazard. Photo 2 shows the washbasin, which was very shallow, and the faucet wasn't splash-proof, so water splashed everywhere as soon as it was turned on. The hotel is massive, and you need to call an electric buggy to get around. Upon arrival, the young lady who helped us with check-in was very sweet and spoke excellent Chinese; my first impression was initially very good. However, we waited almost an hour for our room in a very large lounge near the beach. There was also construction going on near our room. In the afternoon, while resting in the room, the power went out a few times, but it was quickly restored each time. When we went out for dinner in the evening, I informed the hotel about these issues, and they said they would send someone to check. Who knew that evening, while I was showering, the power suddenly went out again and lasted for about 20 minutes? I finished showering in complete darkness, and the hotel only offered a phone call apology. The most infuriating part was the next day: I called an electric buggy to go to the spa, but it never arrived even after half an hour. I called again to ask if they had forgotten, and they told me it would be there shortly and to wait a bit longer. A few minutes later, the phone rang, saying the buggy had arrived and I should come out. To my surprise, when I came out, that buggy was carrying other guests! They actually explained that someone else came out before me. So, I asked, did those other guests book a buggy? If they did, shouldn't two buggies have been dispatched? I was absolutely livid and gave them an earful. After swimming at the spa, I returned to my room, and their manager, Pony, came over. She understood the situation and apologized to me. Finally, to express their apology, she covered our dinner on the beach that evening. I suppose this is what a large resort group should do for crisis management.

MMomotravelThis was my third stay here; twice I've been in a beachfront villa, and once when I couldn't book one, I opted for a sea view villa, which instantly halved my experience. If it's your first time in Koh Samui and you want an unbeatable sea view room with hotel amenities, I highly recommend the beachfront villas at Silavadee. **Hotel Pros:** The stunning, unbeatable ocean views are immediately apparent and absolutely breathtaking. Furthermore, the room design and maintenance are excellent; it's a wooden structure full of holiday charm that doesn't feel damp or moldy despite being by the sea, remaining fresh and tidy. The hotel service is spot on. Whether it's room service or restaurant service, they respond promptly to requests, and the prices are reasonable! **Things to consider for your stay:** The transportation is a bit inconvenient. Since it's on a hill, there are no restaurants or shops within walking distance apart from the hotel's own. We rented a motorbike from the hotel, so it didn't affect us. The hotel beach is just average; it's a bit small, and walking further in can be a bit rough on the feet. The waves are often too strong for water sports, but since we mostly relaxed in our room, it wasn't an issue for us.

DDfjayWe recently stayed at SALA Samui Chaweng Beach Resort and had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the service was welcoming 😃 We'd like to give a special shoutout to the Hotel Manager, Boky, and her amazing team for their exceptional professionalism and warm hospitality, which truly enhanced our stay. Initially, we didn’t realize we had booked the wrong room, but Boky kindly upgraded us to an Oceanfront suite. The room was spacious, impeccably maintained, and offered unforgettable, great view! We’d also like to express our sincere thanks to the restaurant manager and her team for making our dining experiences truly exceptional. Every meal was beautifully presented, and the service was amazing. Their attention to detail and heartfelt hospitality made each visit memorable and special. We travel often, but this stay stood out because of the exceptional people who went out of their way to make our time memorable. Thank you to everyone at SALA Samui Chaweng Beach Resort, we’ll absolutely be back and will be recommending you to family and friends! 🥰
