Your journey begins with a pickup from your chosen hotel within Lijiang City at your selected departure time, followed by a drive to the parking lot of Shangri-la Tiger Leaping Gorge, where you need to handle relevant ticket matters by yourself.

The Tiger Leaping Gorge is located in the upper reaches of the Jinsha River, straddling between Yulong Snow Mountain and Haba Snow Mountain. It is one of the deepest gorges in the world. Renowned for its "perilousness, uniqueness, grandeur, and magnificence," the narrowest point of the river is only 20 meters wide, with a drop of 213 meters. The roaring waves crashing against the rocks create a thunderous sound, forming a breathtaking spectacle of "raging waves splitting the shore." The hiking trail within the gorge is hailed as one of the "Top Ten Classic Hiking Routes in the World." Along the way, snow-capped mountains, turbulent rapids, and deep gorges intertwine, offering a perfect blend of adventure and natural beauty.

After visiting Shangri-la Tiger Leaping Gorge you'll be driven to Heilong Pool/ Black Dragon Pool (includes tickets but excludes tour guides) .

Lijiang Black Dragon Pool serves as the source of the water system in the Old Town of Lijiang and is renowned for its breathtaking scene of "the spring pool reflecting the snowy mountain." The spring water gushes out from rock crevices and converges into a crystal-clear lake covering an area of 40,000 square meters, mirroring the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and creating the classic view. It integrates architectural styles of the Han, Tibetan, and Naxi ethnic groups. Historical relics from the Ming and Qing dynasties, such as the Dragon God Temple, the Moon-Gazing Pavilion, and the Five-Phoenix Tower, stand in harmony with the Dongba Culture Research Institute, making it a prime example of the fusion of nature and humanities.

This itinerary is expected to include approximately 4-5 hours of sightseeing at the two scenic areas, without a tour guide.

After the tour, you will be driven back to your original pickup location.
