I chose this hotel for a concert as it's super close to the venue. The room was small but very clean, and perfectly acceptable for a two-night stay. Transportation is very convenient, and they even offer a free shuttle bus to and from the airport and subway station. The hotel breakfast was just so-so, nothing special. If you're planning to go out, I'd recommend skipping breakfast here and eating out instead. All in all, it was a decent stay.

We recently returned from our ski trip in Japan, but unfortunately, I injured my knee and I'm currently using crutches and a wheelchair. As soon as my wife and I entered the hotel, we were warmly greeted by a humorous doorman who was incredibly helpful with our luggage and assisting with the wheelchair lift.
Upon checking in, we had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Maxim Oodterveld, who kindly upgraded us to a premium L600 room, considering my condition. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, complete with a grand circle bathtub. To our delight, we were also welcomed with some snacks and New Year chocolates.
The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was convenient and enjoyable. Their attention to detail and professionalism were outstanding, and it made me proud to witness the high standard of Hong Kong hospitality. Additionally, I must mention that the breakfast at the MO bar was absolutely incredible with late hour serving given the public holiday, the quality of the food surpassed our expectations. What made the experience even better was the exceptional service provided by our waiter. He was extremely helpful in taking our orders and providing valuable suggestions.
Despite being on a 16/8 fasting schedule and typically skipping breakfast, we couldn't resist indulging in the delicious spread at the MO Bar. The exquisite breakfast was definitely worth breaking our fasting routine for, and we wouldn't hesitate to enjoy it again.
Drawing from our positive experiences at the Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong, we have decided to stay at the Mandarin Oriental for the next leg of our trip.

As our flight arrived HK at 2355 hrs, we booked a night at Regal Hotel on arrival. Once you are at the Arrival Hall, turn to left towards the end & you will see a signboard directing you to Regal Hotel. Just less then 5 mins walk you will reach the Hotel’s Reception. Checking-in was a breeze in less then 3 mins we were given the room keys. Room is old but clean with all the necessities. As the room came with 1 complementary breakfast, i paid an extra HKD138/pax for the international buffet breakfast. Well worth the price. To reach the city, we took the HK Airport Express at a promo price for 2 pax single journey.

Arrived on the red eye flight past midnight, to find to my dismay that the hotel had 4 to 5 steps from the pavement where i alighted, to the hotel lobby. Not the best start, I thought.
Then the staff who attended to me was also not the most chatty and i was kind of regretting booking the hotel.
But all that negativity was dispelled when arrived on the 23rd floor of my room, and was greeted by the spectacular sight of the renowned fragrant harbour in my very spacious room, by HK standards.
There was a Nescafe coffee maker, which was kindly topped up daily by the friendly cleaning staff, even though i told them i didnt need room service for my short 2-night stay.
Bed was firm and comfy, bathtub was clean and not too deep so no fear of accidental drowning.
But the highlight for me, besides the view of the harbour, was the delicious breakfast buffet spread, which had a lot of dim sum components, on top of the usual continental breakfast spread. Kudos to the chefs and staff at the cafe serving the hungry morning crowd!
Conveniently located along a street full of fab eateries, but not the nearest to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station (about 7mins walk away).
My stay at Best Western Plus Hotel Hong Kong was truly a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality.
The location is incredibly convenient — everything feels within reach. Whether it’s public transport, sightseeing, or simply exploring the city, getting around is effortless and stress-free.
The room was impressively clean, spacious, and well-maintained. It offered a relaxing atmosphere with plenty of space to unwind. The bathroom was equally well-kept, with great functionality and attention to detail that reflects a high standard of care.
What stood out the most was the staff. They were genuinely friendly, approachable, and welcoming — never cold or distant. Even simple services like luggage storage were handled with kindness and a smile, making the whole experience feel personal and comforting.
A small but memorable detail was the consistently fresh and pleasant scent throughout the hotel, which gave a sense of cleanliness and thoughtful maintenance at all times.
Overall, this was not just a place to stay, but a place that made the entire trip feel more special.
I would definitely return without hesitation.

This is a classic tourist-oriented budget hotel. I stayed here before and didn't need a deposit for one night. The room had a universal adapter (not allowed to be taken). This time, I noticed they also provided wooden toothbrushes and the TV channels were updated (though I still couldn't quite figure them out). For 300-400 yuan, you certainly can't compare the environment and service to a five-star hotel, but it offers good value for money. For a simple one-night stay, it perfectly met my needs. There are convenience stores, supermarkets, cha chaan tengs, and bars nearby, and it's quite close to the city center.

The room was quite spacious for Hong Kong standards, comparable to a standard twin room on the mainland. The common areas were very well air-conditioned. To get to the tower, you need to take an elevator to the 20th floor. The facilities weren't as outdated as some reviews suggested, and I was very happy with this room type in Hong Kong. We pushed the two small beds together to create a large bed over 2 meters wide. It offered excellent views, including a sea view, and the rooftop pool was also stunning, providing a dazzling view of Victoria Harbour at night. The transportation was extremely convenient; it was just a 3-4 minute walk to the MTR station if you turned right upon exiting. The only minor drawback was that the front desk staff who checked us in didn't smile at all. While they weren't impolite, there was no sense of warmth or friendliness.

Coming to Hong Kong this time, I searched for many hotels on Trip.com, but most rooms were tiny and the facilities were outdated. I finally decided to stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel Hong Kong, and as soon as I entered, I was blown away by the sea-view room on the first floor with a large balcony! Stepping out, you're greeted by an endless expanse of clear blue sea – the view is absolutely stunning! 🌊
At night, I enjoyed the sea breeze on the balcony, watching the starry sky, eating fruit, and having drinks. It was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. Getting around from the hotel is super convenient; there's a free shuttle bus directly to the MTR station, making it easy to go shopping, explore, and try out all the amazing local food.
The buffet breakfast was a bit simple, so don't have high expectations. Once you're near the MTR station, there are so many Hong Kong delicacies that you'll wish you had more stomachs to try them all.
The hotel offers a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, with a healing sea view and excellent value for money. The experience was fantastic, and it's definitely on my must-stay list for my next visit to Hong Kong. I'll definitely be back!

Two years later, I'm back in Tung Chung! Last time, Four Points left a great impression, so this time, my whole family unanimously agreed to stay here again.
It's normal for hotel prices to go up during holidays. Four Points' price increase was reasonable, not much more expensive than during the summer.
This trip was all about taking it easy. Lantau Island really feels like escaping the city's hustle and bustle.
Considering the price point, the hotel is relatively new, and the rooms are much larger than those on Hong Kong Island. Excellent value!
If you're not in a hurry, you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Given the cost of living in Hong Kong, the price for the buffet breakfast is definitely worth it. The variety is good, and the quality is also decent.
Getting around is also convenient. There are shuttle buses to and from the airport and the MTR station.
(It was a bit difficult to find the hotel shuttle bus after landing at the airport – maybe a sign could be put up?)

BP International was absolutely one of our favorite hotel stays in Hongkong. It was so convenient being very close to the train station and high speed railway station where you can travel from different areas of Hongkong and even Mainland China. Alot of our hongkong favorite bites were also closeby and we were able to walk around shops within Tsim Tsa Tsui and checkout the Avenue of Stars and Kowloon Park! Our stay in the hotel was incredible with its clean room, great shower and comfortable bed!

This hotel provided super good class mattress. Even much better than 5 star hotel. My room is on 21 floor and the city view is beautiful. The hotel price is not high in compare with other 4 stars hotel in hotel. I definitely will go back to stay in this hotel because I want to have a good sleep
I love this place - we had amazing view, the hotel was very clean, and we were always greeted by the front desk team. It’s surrounding is beautiful- hard to find in HK. Will definitely return
A 2 nights stay because of typhoon ragasa, room with powerful AC, stable WiFi connection. Breakfast is good for many kind of food and drinks, even have sparkling wine. Appreciate having special lunch and dinner arrangements during typhoon with reasonable price. Bookmark if have next time. (touch wood)
Stayed in the Ocean Front room with 2 queen beds & the view couldn’t be beaten. An absolute pleasure to watch the ships coming and going. The breakfast at the hotel was awesome & had great Western options for the whole family. We also used the free shuttle to two MTR stations, making travel around very easy. Shuttles run every 30 minutes. While the hotel isn’t centrally located, the services they provide make up for it. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
I’m happy to the hotel I stayed in Hong Kong they have free shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel so you don’t need to spend any penny for transportation. The hotel is clean and very convenient also the staff are nice I ask a heater since it’s very cold when I went to HK and I’m not used to it. I would say the hotel is work it would book again next time😊

We had a wonderful stay in the hotel. Ideal location to Tsim Tsa Tsui and Hung Hom MTR station. Lots of eateries and it is so happening. Walking distance to Star Avenue and K11 shopping mall. The hotel is clean and we get to enjoy everyday house keeping. We feel comfortable to stay in this hotel and will stay again for the next trip.
We had a wonderful stay at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong. The facilities are outstanding. The heated pool was such a treat, and the gym is modern and beautifully equipped. The changing rooms felt genuinely luxurious, with immaculate showers and a sauna that made it easy to unwind after a long day. But what truly sets this hotel apart, is the service. Every interaction was handled with the highest level of professionalism, yet it never felt stiff or generic, it was warm, attentive, and surprisingly personalized. The team anticipated what we needed, remembered details, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the stay. A flawless experience from start to finish. We hope to return at the next opportunity.
The rooms are very spacious for HK standards! The 3 of us even had space to open our luggages together. Our room was on the 34th floor and the city skyline was magnificent. The quality of the blankets were so niceeeeeeeeeeee, it kept me warm and i slept very soundly. The gym equipment was in good condition, the floor to ceiling windows allowed a lot of sun to shine in. Sauna and steam room was a cherry on top after a workout. Location was very central, walkable to nearby stations and popular cafes. the only downside i would say is there is no direct lift from ground floor to the hotel. we had to transfer 1-2 lifts and walk a short distance to get to our rooms. In this sense, i wouldn't really recommend this hotel to elderlies or if you plan to stay out late. We had a couple of drinks till late and learnt there were different ways to get into the hotel after certain timings. but other than that, we had a great stay. Highly recommend it! Honourable mention to the receptionist Mandy Lao who welcomed us. She was so polite and accommodating to our requests despite the endless belt of guests who checked in prior to us. That being said, Hopewell is a very popular hotel and you may have to wait a little after 3pm to check in. Please be patient with the staff as a lot of things are beyond their control.
Good location, connected directly to the train station and with a view. The service is good—they arranged a surprise birthday cake and gift card. The room is comfortable for a family of three.
