The room is beautiful, with a stunning view, and the service is incredibly thoughtful. It truly lives up to its reputation as the world's top hotel. The breakfast spread is also very rich and diverse; slowly enjoying breakfast while overlooking Victoria Harbour is such a peaceful and wonderful experience!

The Regent Hotel truly lives up to its reputation as an old-school luxury hotel, with excellent service and facilities! A special shout-out to the lovely Michelle at the front desk, who was so kind and even personally escorted us to our room to show us around! Many thanks also to Manson Bowen, the handsome gentleman at reception, for granting us a late check-out, which allowed us to get some much-needed rest! We love The Regent and will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Hong Kong!

This time at the Four Seasons Hong Kong, I experienced it during a typhoon with strong winds. For two days, I watched the huge waves from my window. Despite the stormy weather, my stay at the Four Seasons was still very comfortable. The facilities are a bit older, as it's a 20-year-old hotel, but I got an upgraded room, which was great, and I had a sea view.

The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong — Comprehensive Stay Review
This stay fully met and exceeded expectations across every core dimension that matters in a luxury hotel experience.
Service:
Service quality is outstanding. Staff are consistently attentive, polished, and proactive without being intrusive. Requests are handled efficiently, and interactions feel genuinely warm rather than scripted, which reinforces the sense of true five-star hospitality.
Cleanliness:
Cleanliness is impeccable. Both the room and common areas are maintained to an extremely high standard. Housekeeping is meticulous, and the overall environment feels fresh, orderly, and carefully managed at all times.
View:
The view is top notch. Being one of the highest hotels in the world, the panoramic outlook over Hong Kong is breathtaking, both day and night. The skyline, harbor, and city lights elevate the entire stay and significantly enhance the in-room experience.
Ozone Bar:
Ozone Bar is amazing. The atmosphere, views, and overall experience are world-class. It is not just a hotel bar but a destination in itself, offering a unique vantage point that very few places globally can match.
Food & Beverage:
F&B is excellent across the board. Quality, presentation, and service are all consistently high, reinforcing the hotel’s reputation as a culinary destination, not merely a place to stay.
Location:
The location is convenient, particularly with direct access to transportation and the Elements complex. However, for guests accustomed to staying in Causeway Bay or other more central, street-level districts, the area may feel relatively far from traditional shopping and nightlife zones. This is more a matter of preference than a drawback.
Overall Impression:
Very, very happy with this stay. From service and cleanliness to views, dining, and amenities, the experience reflects what a true flagship Ritz-Carlton property should deliver. This is a hotel that excels in execution, consistency, and atmosphere, making it an exceptional choice for a refined and elevated Hong Kong stay.

The Murray, a Michelin one-star hotel, is a luxury property under the Niccolo brand, transformed from the historic Murray Building. It opened in 2018, stands 25 stories tall, and most rooms offer city views.
I booked through Trip.com's presale for about HKD 1800 per night, which included a HKD 300 F&B credit within the hotel. The N1 Deluxe Room is 47 square meters, which is quite spacious for Hong Kong. The room provides four bottles of VOSS mineral water, a capsule coffee machine, welcome fruit, and chocolates. They even surprised me with a cake for my birthday.
During check-in, they offered towels and tea, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The N1 room doesn't have a bathtub, but the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. No need for power adapters; there are **sockets for Chinese plugs.
The F&B credit couldn't be stacked or used at Cotton Tree. We opted to use it for in-room dining service. Turndown service each evening included TWG tea bags and chocolates.
Minor hiccup: Around 11 PM, there was a water pressure issue, and they compensated us with chocolates the next day. Overall, it was still a good stay. It's located right next to the Peak Tram station, and the hotel is situated between Admiralty and Central MTR stations. They offer a complimentary shuttle service (advance booking required).

The hotel's location is excellent. From West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station, head towards Elements Mall. Once inside Elements, continue following the clear signs to the hotel. The entire walk is indoors. It's also convenient if you exit at Kowloon MTR station; just walk into Elements. The hotel is clean and the service is warm and friendly. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were very welcoming. There are clear signs leading to the hotel entrance. You take the elevator to the 6th-floor lobby where staff direct you to the front desk for an easy check-in process.
Because of the convenience and excellent service, I extended my stay for an extra day. On the first day, I wasn't familiar with Elements Mall, but once I got my bearings, it was very easy to get around. To travel from Hong Kong to Macau or Zhuhai, you can simply take the cross-border bus from within Elements Mall, which is incredibly convenient!

This was my first stay at the Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong, located in the bustling heart of Central, which made it super convenient for exploring and dining. The service, as expected from the Mandarin Oriental brand, was thoughtful, meticulous, and attentive. I wasn't entirely satisfied with my initial room, but the duty manager promptly moved me to an upgraded room with a fantastic view. Any requests were met quickly, and the attention to detail was exceptional; seeing I had sunglasses, they thoughtfully brought me a glasses cloth, and in the evening, they provided a sleep-inducing aroma diffuser. The tea bags in the room were delicious, and breakfast was both healthy and tasty. I would definitely choose the Mandarin Oriental again on my next trip to Central, Hong Kong.

1. The room rate on Christmas Eve wasn't much higher than usual, which is a big plus.
2. Service was very prompt, from the front desk to the baggage handlers, and their attitudes were excellent.
3. They even provided a free extra bed, which was a really thoughtful touch.
4. The room's blackout curtains were great; you could easily sleep until noon.
5. The soundproofing in the room was excellent.

The St. Regis has yet to disappoint, especially when it comes to breakfast – it's absolutely fantastic! 👍
My wife and I were here for a business trip (it's perfect for a getaway without kids).
At this caliber, the facilities, cleanliness, ambiance, and service are all top-notch.
(One small suggestion: perhaps a heads-up about the room's fragrance. Not all guests appreciate it, but it could be moved to a cupboard.) The service from all departments was excellent, especially the concierge. We were going for dinner a short distance away and couldn't find a taxi, so they arranged a hotel car for us. When we returned, they warmly greeted us and asked about our dining experience, which was very thoughtful. ❤️

A rather stylish boutique hotel. The 'lobby' and front desk on the ground floor were designed to be incredibly discreet, so much so that when I first arrived, I wondered if I'd come to the wrong place. However, stepping inside, I discovered a hidden gem. The architectural space is visually striking and full of design flair.
The guest rooms are presented in a Japanese style, with minimalist and understated decor. The layout is ingenious and well-thought-out, and the entire room is well-maintained, showing no signs of age. The bathroom amenity kit thoughtfully included lip balm and a small makeup mirror, showing a better understanding of female guests' needs than even the Rosewood Hong Kong. Overall, the stay was comfortable and relaxing.
Regarding service, the staff were warm and attentive, but there are two areas for improvement: firstly, if they could offer a glass of water or a drink to guests waiting to check in, it would be a more considerate touch; secondly, for turn-down service, if they could proactively remove the paper seal from the slippers instead of just placing them by the bed, the experience would be even more refined.

MM430667****The manager was incredibly kind and gave us a room with a fantastic view. Even though we only stayed for one night, I felt it was excellent value for money. It's also very conveniently located, about a ten-minute walk from Prince Edward MTR Station. I'll definitely come back again next time!

__M1397874****The room is spacious enough! The sea view from the window is so refreshing! Plus, there's a shuttle bus right outside that goes directly to Tsuen Wan and Tsuen Wan West Station, which is super convenient! I've booked it twice in a row for my trips to Hong Kong in the past 2.5 years, what more can I say!
GGuest UserPhenomenal place to stay - only quirk getting out of the way first it can be slightly tricky to find being in the mid Levels, so a taxi/shuttle would be better than walking.
However, the room was spacious and very nice, clean with a great view from the 13th floor. The front desk was extra helpful by helping with my phone charger issue on top of being punctual, helpful etc.
Great building as well, there is a Fusion maybe three minutes away walking so picking up random necessities is useful and a gas station with some random items as well so you will always be able to grab something quick. Great little restaurant next to the greeting area as well, Hainanese chicken is great and I used my free drink voucher as well. Fantastic place to stay, I will be back next time I am in HK
GGan Yung ChyanRegala Skycity Hotel is the nearest airport hotel of Terminal 2 of Hong Kong Chep Lap Kok Airport. The first free shuttle bus service starts at 6.15 am from the bus interchange at Terminal 2. Waiting bay is between lanes 9 and 11. Late check-out is allowed upon request until 1 pm.
As my experience goes, there is no need to pay room deposit of HK$500 after paying for the room rate in full at Trip.com. If the guest chose to pay at the hotel, HK$500 which is roughly around S$83, is required. The hotel allows rooms for day use until 6 pm and room deposit is required.
I chose to stay at Regala Skycity Hotel in order to review its rooftop as the hotel promotes the use of its rooftop for physical exercises and plane-spotting. The rooftop is above the twelfth floor, two fire doors up from the eleventh floor.
On the rooftop, I can see jets flying towards the direction of the sea above the rooftop. If an aeroplane flies towards the airport in the opposite direction, plane-spotting can be done at the twelfth floor corridor end-window. It is amazing that jets can be seen flying towards the airport above the sea. Hong Kong Airport Terminal 1 and Regala Airport Hotel can also be noticed.
Focal length is 200mm to 500mm. In the afternoon after check-out, I am grateful that the receptionist allows me to go up to the rooftop again for plane-spotting till sun set with out paying for a room for day use.
About the small, comfortable room that I stayed, the garden view is not that magnificent. There are no trees fortunately. There are no bottles of mineral water in the room. Heat a kettle of water and pour the water into the hotel's glass bottle to drink later.
About the shower room, the anti-slip mattress is available for use.
The hotel restaurant serves complimentary breakfast with Hong Kong-style breakfast as the highlight. There is no American-style breakfast to eat.
It is very expensive to stay in Regala Skycity Hotel but I will stay here again for the purpose of plane-spotting if there were new airliners flying to the airport at the appropriate time.

Very Good
11383237****This was my husband and my first time visiting Hong Kong for two days. When I booked, Island Shangri-La was the only hotel that offered a refundable option, and I had heard great things about their service, so I decided to book it. After checking in, I truly experienced the prime location. Right across from the hotel entrance is Hong Kong Park, which, although not large, is beautifully scenic. The plants and trees are all labeled, there are fountains and streams, and even a delightful aviary with various birds to observe. It's perfect for families with children. Diagonally opposite the park entrance, not far away, is the Peak Tram entrance – surprise number two! Buying a 'red diamond' ticket allowed us direct entry, saving a lot of waiting time, and we got to enjoy the stunning Victoria Harbour view from the top. Below the hotel is Pacific Place mall, a high-end shopping destination, and a short walk in front takes you to the seaside park, which is incredibly convenient.
Now, about the hotel service – it was excellent, absolutely fantastic! The front desk lady was warm, thoughtful, and highly professional. She helped us get a room with a beautiful view, which was a huge plus! All the staff members were humble and polite, and their Mandarin communication was excellent. The concierges at the entrance were courteous and welcoming. For breakfast, the hot noodle bowl was quite large, and the young man serving piled on plenty of toppings, cooked just right – it was delicious, surprise number three, and definitely deserves praise. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.
GGuest UserThe rooms are very spacious for HK standards! The 3 of us even had space to open our luggages together. Our room was on the 34th floor and the city skyline was magnificent.
The quality of the blankets were so niceeeeeeeeeeee, it kept me warm and i slept very soundly.
The gym equipment was in good condition, the floor to ceiling windows allowed a lot of sun to shine in. Sauna and steam room was a cherry on top after a workout.
Location was very central, walkable to nearby stations and popular cafes.
the only downside i would say is there is no direct lift from ground floor to the hotel. we had to transfer 1-2 lifts and walk a short distance to get to our rooms. In this sense, i wouldn't really recommend this hotel to elderlies or if you plan to stay out late. We had a couple of drinks till late and learnt there were different ways to get into the hotel after certain timings.
but other than that, we had a great stay. Highly recommend it!
Honourable mention to the receptionist Mandy Lao who welcomed us. She was so polite and accommodating to our requests despite the endless belt of guests who checked in prior to us. That being said, Hopewell is a very popular hotel and you may have to wait a little after 3pm to check in. Please be patient with the staff as a lot of things are beyond their control.
GGerhard GreyPerfectly acceptable for a short stay. My online request for a room on a high floor was not accepted- I had to change from 8th to 15th floor on my second day. Room is quiet and view is pleasant. Aircon works. Nothing special, and nothing to complain about. Will probably not return, though.
KKuaizuierωǒliziruiEvery time I come to Hong Kong for hiking, I stay here. I've been here many times. You can go straight up the mountain from behind the hotel and connect to the MacLehose Trail and Wilson Trail, which is super convenient. The hotel isn't in the city center, so the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Shimen is also a nice area, and there's a mall in First City. Getting to Pak Tam Chung by bus is also easy and convenient!
JJoyce淼淼Having lived in Hong Kong for over 10 years, this is the first time I've booked a hotel with such great value for money. First off, the location is superb – it's just a 3-minute walk from Jordan MTR station. There are all sorts of restaurants nearby, catering to every budget. Plus, the room is very spacious, clean, and hygienic. The front desk staff were also very warm and polite. I'll definitely book this hotel again when I have clients or friends visiting in the future.
__CFT010000001283****The front desk staff were quite pleasant and patiently explained details about breakfast, the executive lounge, and more. My room was right off the elevator, which made it a bit noisy, but overall it was fine. They were also very quick to deliver disposable chopsticks when I called to ask for them.
The hotel's location is great, just a few minutes' walk to Victoria Harbour for boat trips or a stroll.
However, there were some less-than-ideal experiences. For example, our room was an executive room, which granted us access to the executive lounge. We visited twice over three days. On our second visit, a Southeast Asian-looking server asked us for our room card for a second verification. Firstly, you need to swipe your card to enter the lounge, and secondly, there were Caucasians in the lounge, so why were only we asked for re-verification? Is this extra discrimination against Chinese people? Do they think Chinese people can't afford executive floors and are just sneaking in for free food and drinks?
Speaking of the executive lounge, it's incomparable to executive lounges in mainland China. They offered two small sandwiches, two small dessert cakes, and on our first visit, some apples. Beyond that, there wasn't much else.
The breakfast restaurant had a decent variety, including rice noodles, regular noodles, pineapple buns, and fresh cut fruit. There was a high proportion of Indian dishes, like various types of Indian flatbreads or curries. But one thing was unpleasant: one morning, we went for breakfast and saw an empty sofa seat by the window. When we went to sit there, a server told us it was reserved. This was the first I'd ever heard of reserved seats in a hotel breakfast restaurant. Later, two Caucasians came in and sat there. It's been thirty years since the handover, but it seems some mindsets are still stuck in the past.
Hygienics: The towels were changed, but the trash wasn't emptied. I stayed for three nights, and it seems they only empty the trash on the last day after I check out. Is it for environmental reasons to save plastic bags? Is saving this particular bag so crucial? Did they consider the guest's feelings? Also, when a guest leaves, aren't the duvet covers supposed to be changed and washed? Can you believe there were still bloodstains on mine?
