After comparing several hotels for my Luoyang trip, I ultimately chose Christine Hotel, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. It's perfectly suited for anyone visiting Luoyang for tourism or a short getaway. Let me start with the most impressive aspect: the service. Upon check-in, the front desk immediately offered chilled plum juice and thoughtfully put a protective sleeve on my ID card – small details that really made a difference. I had pre-booked the high-speed rail station pick-up service, and the driver provided wet wipes, mineral water, and a fruit box upon boarding, assisting with all luggage handling. Guests can order complimentary snacks, drinks, and seasonal fruits online at any time for room delivery, which was incredibly convenient when we wanted a late-night bite. They also offer free daily laundry service, so no worries about dirty clothes while traveling. Any requests to the service center were met with a swift response, and the housekeeping staff were always polite and considerate. The entire experience felt comfortable and effortless. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the subway station, which is incredibly convenient. It offers easy access to major attractions like Tian Tang Ming Tang, Ying Tian Men, and Wangcheng Park. There are also numerous restaurants and shops downstairs, making dining and stocking up on essentials a breeze. Our room was spacious and well-arranged, impeccably clean, and the bedding was soft. The 18th-floor Riguang Pavilion restaurant boasts fantastic views, and the breakfast selection was extensive, featuring both Western and Chinese options, along with local Luoyang specialties like beef soup and various pastries. There were plenty of choices, and the dining environment was open and airy. Objectively, the hotel does have a minor drawback. As an older establishment, the carpets and some room furniture show signs of age. During my stay, I noticed anniversary decorations throughout the hotel and learned that it has been open for 17 years! So, these minor imperfections are understandable. Overall, any minor hardware flaws were completely overshadowed by the meticulous service. The staff were gentle and professional, without being overly enthusiastic to the point of feeling intrusive. On my next visit to Luoyang, I will definitely prioritize Christine Hotel again. I highly recommend it to travelers who value convenient travel and excellent service details.

Service: Warm and thoughtful. Before check-in, we will ask about arrival time and send location. During your stay, you will also be answered with all your questions and the service will be attentive. Hygiene: Very clean, not inferior to star hotels. The mattress in the room is very soft and very comfortable to sleep on. Will come again next time. Facilities: Everything is available, including disposable supplies. Environment: The location is better. The room I stayed in can see Shuanghe Lake and the musical fountain in summer.

BEST STAY EVER! Long review, but a meaningful one. Hotel & Facilities: I stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained. The location is excellent, only about a 5-minute walk from the main entrance of the Longmen Grottoes, plus all the shopping and food area. There is also a nearby bridge where I enjoyed beautiful views of the grottoes without entering the site! The receptionist Mengmeng upgraded my room to a suite free of charge, which made my stay even more memorable, since it was a special occasion! She was super helpful and kind through my stay. Housekeeping was outstanding. My room was cleaned every day and maintained to a high standard. The breakfast buffet had a variety of dishes and enough choices to keep breakfast interesting throughout my stay, I ate like a queen, besides the restaurant area is super peaceful. As a Spanish girl who does not speak good Chinese, I relied on translation apps, and the staff were always patient, welcoming, and eager to help. Exceptional Staff Support After I Sprained My Ankle: During my visit to the Longmen Grottoes, I unfortunately sprained my ankle. The level of care I received from the hotel staff was exceptional and was one of the main reasons I decided to extend my stay by an extra night. The receptionist Dan Dan and the driver Zhang Hong went above and beyond to help me the night I sprained my ankle. Ma Dan Dan was my main contact point. She regularly checked on me, provided ice for my ankle and even helped me do my laundry! She came up and down to my room several times to bring me everything I needed. I am very grateful for her time and care. The driver Changwang took me to the nearest health centre and he was super patient and talkative, which was nice. Special mention to one staff member called Wang Bing, she was working during the breakfast the day after I sprained my ankle and she was incredibly helpful, lovely and attentive, she even gave me a medicine for mosquito bites! Everyone treated me with kindness and professionalism. I believe mentioning their names is relevant, due to my particular situation, they deserve the recognition. As a solo woman travelling and getting injured far away from home, their support meant a great deal to me. Overall: Whether you are a domestic or international traveller, I highly recommend this hotel. The combination of beautiful facilities, an excellent location, outstanding cleanliness and nd caring staff made this one of the most memorable experiences I have had in my years of travelling. Five stars, highly recommended! From check-in to check-out, everything was a breeze. The front desk was efficient and polite, and staff responded quickly to any requests. The room cleaning was exceptionally thorough, even the corners were spotless. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area with consistent hot water. The mattress was soft yet supportive, and the soundproofing was excellent—absolutely no noise at night. All amenities were complete, the WiFi was fast, and there were plenty of charging outlets. The location is superb, convenient for dining and transportation. For the same price, the quality here is far superior. It's perfect whether you're traveling for business or leisure. I've saved it as a favorite and will definitely stay here again next time!

The hotel boasts an excellent location and comprehensive facilities, situated within the 'Corn Building' with a lake and commercial amenities nearby. The breakfast spread is rich and varied. However, the service quality needs improvement. There was no assistance with heavy luggage upon arrival at the hotel entrance, and the staff's demeanor lacked warmth, with somewhat stiff expressions. Some room amenities, like the hairdryer and toilet, felt a bit outdated. On the positive side, the gym equipment is very well-equipped, and the pool is clean and hygienic. Overall, I recommend staying here!

Let me start with the basics. I've only visited Xin County twice, coincidentally both times in the same hotel and the same room. Opening the window, I was greeted by a breathtaking panoramic view of the Huanghe River! A stroll along the riverbank, with a gentle spring breeze, was a rare and delightful experience! A small bridge leads to Xin County Square, the heart of the county! After a busy day, you can drive along the Xihe River to experience its serene beauty and tranquil atmosphere, or cycle through the former capital of the Hubei-Henan-Anhui Soviet Area to pay homage to its heroes and reconnect with your roots!

This location is heaven on earth. Surrounded by mountains that take on the form of Buddha. You sit right in the palm of a blessed spot. It is family owned and they treat you like family while you are there. By far some of the kindest people you will meet on your trip. Food is fantastic and homemade. There is a rooftop spot you can relax at, have tea, and even enjoy your meal there. The Shaolin temple is just a short walk from the hotel, and the owners will offer to drive you every time. Make sure to stay here if you are in the area. You will not regret it.

However, there are not many dining options within walking distance. - Cleanliness: Overall, the hotel was quite clean, and I have no complaints about the cleanliness. - Facilities: The bathroom is a bit old but still clean and well maintained. The room is quite small, but it has all the essential amenities. The only downside is that the projector did not work well for watching movies or other content. - Service: The staff seemed rather indifferent and not particularly welcoming. Since I only stayed for two nights, it did not affect my trip too much. --＞ Overall, considering the price and the fact that this is a fairly large hotel, I expected a higher standard of service from the front desk staff. I hope the hotel will improve this aspect in the future.

I stayed in Kaifeng for two days and chose this hotel near the Gulou area for its convenience in exploring the ancient town. Kaifeng is not a large city like Zhengzhou or Luoyang, and with good stamina you can explore most of it on foot. If you plan to spend three days mainly at Millennium City Park (清明上河园), this hotel may not be the best option. However, there are two direct public buses — Y1 and Bus 15 — that make travel to the park easy. The hotel itself is located on the third floor, with a supermarket directly below at ground level. We bought fruits and beverages there for our stay. The Gulou Night Market is only a few minutes’ walk away, and one of China’s Top 10 Famous Buddhist Temples, Xiangguo Temple (相国寺), is about a five‑minute walk. Visitors often remark that standing in Xiangguo Temple feels like stepping into a living link with the Tang and Song dynasties. Admission is free for seniors aged 60 and above, regardless of nationality. Another nearby attraction is the Kaifeng Prefecture Office (开封府), historically the government headquarters and judicial court of Kaifeng. It is just two bus stops away, with half‑price admission for seniors aged 60 and above. Transportation was convenient: there are direct public buses (No. 10 and Y1) from Kaifeng Train Station to the hotel. This made my arrival from Luoyang and departure to Zhengzhou smooth and easy. I had booked hotels in Luoyang (3 nights), Yuntaishan (3 nights), and Zhengzhou (3 nights), and mistakenly thought I had also booked Kaifeng for 3 nights. In fact, I had only reserved 2 nights. I realized my mistake when the hotel staff kindly alerted me around 4 pm, just before my departure to Zhengzhou. I was panicky, but the counter staff remained calm and understanding, helping me expedite my check‑out. Thanks to their assistance, I managed to catch my train to Zhengzhou East Station (郑州东站) and check into my hotel at Erqi Square before 7 pm. I am very grateful to the hotel staff for their patience and support. Without their help, my transition would not have been so smooth. A big thank you to the hotel team.

Tired of the city's hustle and bustle, I finally found my 'paradise' here. Tucked away in Luoyang Banshan is an absolutely divine hotel. Opening the window reveals a lush green vista, making time seem to slow down. What I loved most was the 'private courtyard with a private hot spring' design. 24-hour natural hot spring water flows directly into your room, so no more crowded public pools. In the evening, soaking in the steamy hot spring while watching the twilight descend over the mountains melted away a whole week's fatigue. The hotel even provides rose petals and mugwort bath bags, which really elevates the experience! It's only a ten-minute drive from the Longmen Grottoes, so after exploring the ancient sites, coming back for a hot spring soak is just the perfect end to the day. Whether it's for a romantic getaway or a girls' trip, this place offers plenty of privacy and a relaxing vibe. The hotel also offers shuttle service, and the butler service is excellent, promptly addressing any issues. Super thoughtful! The room was clean and tidy, and the hot spring water temperature was just right, incredibly refreshing. A truly satisfying travel experience, highly recommended!
