Pros: rooms are renovated and clean, breakfast varied daily and taste good, AC was cold, and hotel quite near the taichung TRA, and steps away from gancheng station where a lot of buses pass by cons: soundproofing could be better, no bidet in toilet All in all, still a good hotel choice in taichung considering the cheap price

Pros: Close to Taoyuan Airport, with a shuttle bus every 30 minutes that gets you to the airport in about 5 minutes. There's an indoor pool, steam sauna, and a well-equipped gym. The breakfast restaurant is spacious, and some rooms offer direct views of the airport, allowing you to watch planes take off and land. Cons: Absolutely no restaurants or convenience stores nearby. The shower area lacks a door, so water easily splashes out. The toilet isn't a bidet, and the room size is a bit small. You can hear some airplane noise from the room, and the breakfast taste is just average.

When check in, the staff was busy, It was confused me to rush for check in, apperantly the room was on the other building, so I need to go out and enter the other building. Not sure about the security, looks like no security on the other building. For breakfast I have to go out to the front office building on the 2nd floor. They give coupon for breakfast from 7-10. The breakfast was okay, and same type of menu. The room quite big, the bathroom okay, with full amenities. It seems the the room wasn't clean properly, there some small plastic rubbish on the corner when I check in, I wouldn't bother. Light in front of bathroom wasn't good enougj, since the mirror there you need when you getting ready to go out. They provide water bottle and tea bag. Free store luggage service upon check in and check out. Location is near the train station, walkable to Miyahara and around train station was really nice at night.

This hotel is located in Kenting's Little Bay, just across the road from Little Bay Beach, and the bus stop is also very close by. The hotel's breakfast spread is fantastic, and the seafood buffet for dinner offers great value for money. The best part is that the restaurant has a window overlooking the ocean (Picture 1), adding a wonderful ambiance to dinner. The hotel's garden is a lovely spot to relax (Picture 2). The swimming pool in the garden was under maintenance, so to compensate guests, the hotel organized some fun activities, like a night crab-hunting trip on the beach. We scared all the crabs away, and only a bunch of hermit crabs (Picture 3) stayed to play with us! ☺️

We stayed in The Grand Hotel for 2 nights. We really enjoyed it. The receptionist is very nice and helpful. The bedroom is very clean. Although the location is quite away from MTR, there are free shuttle bus to travel in between. Especially there are quite a lot of shuttle buses between the hotel and Yuanshan MTR. I also enjoy two dinners and one breakfast in the hotel. They are fresh and delicious. If you like to live in a heritage building and not a time-poor traveler , The Grand Hotel is a very good option.

I had a pleasant stay at Norway Forest Hotel in Taichung. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Taichung Train Station, which makes traveling around the city very convenient. There are also many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with good water pressure. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The hotel also has a playground for children, which is great for families, as well as laundry and drying facilities, very convenient for longer stays. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and I would recommend it to travelers visiting Taichung.

Stayed here during our recent visit to Taipei. Staff speaks decent English, check in and check out process was smooth and fast. Would really recommend this hotel to families and even solo travellers - there are 2 MRT entrance/exit nearby, Youbike rental is also available nearby, convenient access to 7-11 and Family Mart which is just a stone's throw away. Do note that late checkout fee is NTD500/hour (in case anyone is wondering). They also offer free luggage storage. Amenities wise - all is good. Comfy beds, lots of channels on the TV. Worth paying this price.

I was looking for a hotel in Jiaoxi where the in-room bath also had hot spring water, and this place fit the bill. The location is within walking distance of the train station and bus terminal, but since I had luggage, I took a bus from the terminal. It's right on a main bus road with a bus stop nearby, which was very convenient, and the hot spring park is directly in front, which was also a plus. Our room was a twin, but it had a sofa that could convert into an extra bed, and the space was ample. The bathroom had a bathtub with a window overlooking the outside, making it feel like an open-air bath. We didn't opt for breakfast, but there are plenty of eateries and restaurants nearby, so finding food was never an issue. There's a popular pastry shop nearby that always has a queue; their pannacotta roll cake was absolutely delicious and highly recommended!

Around 10mins drive from taoyuan airport Walk down from arrivals to the exit. Taxi fare to the hotel is roughly 160 to 185yuan Real close and convenient. We got upgraded to a bigger room as we checked in lte around 12am for a 5 hours sleep. Hotel is kind enough to book taxi for us 530am the next day and even prepared breakfast pack for us

This hotel is truly value for money. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and up to expectations. There is even lounge area that serves snacks, drinks, and games. The breakfast was also of decent quality and had a good variety. The location is incredible for those who are visiting qijin island and the pier. Cosmed and several convenience stores are nearby so there is no worry if you forget something.
