Stayed for 2 nights in Room 703.
➕ Plus:
• Great location, 7 mins to Simpang Lima and directly connected to Queen City Mall, which has many good restaurants and shops.
• Good value for money considering the facilities and location in Semarang.
• Complete in-room amenities: washing machine, large fridge, microwave, stove, plates, and cooking utensils, very convenient for family stays or longer visits.
• Smooth check-in process, and no deposit required.
➖ Minus:
• Electricity went on and off more than 8 times during my stay. The outage was short each time, but it disturbed our convenience, especially when charging devices.
• A flying cockroach came out from the upper side of the wardrobe cupboard. I reported it to the staff.
• Breakfast restaurant is quite small and often crowded, with limited menu choices.
• Room is not soundproof, noise from the streets and the train can be clearly heard, even until midnight.
The bathroom is a bit slippery and the floor is also not clean. The battery of tv remote and ac aren't working, you have to call room service to change.
The ac is cold , the bedroom is nice, the pillow is nice too, not too high, and i can sleep tightly.
The breakfast is so so, i love the siomay and pridge, they taste so good. The omelete is standard becaude they arent put anything on the omellete.they need to improve on the menus.
#Amanjiwo's Ultimate Experience 💖😋
Amanjiwo means ”peaceful soul” in Indonesian. Designer Ed Tuttle drew inspiration from Borobudur, featuring circular limestone architecture and incorporating elements such as circles, squares, and crescents to pay homage to this World Heritage site. Nestled in a natural amphitheater at the foot of Mount Menoreh, the hotel is surrounded by four towers, seamlessly blending into the natural surroundings. [Strong]
🫰 It must be said that Amanjiwo truly embodies the pinnacle of local culture and luxurious living. The welcome letter and daily goodnight notes are deeply infused with local flavor, along with maps 🖌🎨. There are also numerous activities (we participated in a Borobudur tour and a local morning market experience), thoughtfully prepared straw bags for guests' outings, and an immersive reading space. The hotel also offers a unique Indonesian afternoon tea, folk craft workshops, and a Javanese dinner accompanied by musical performances. This unique culture and thoughtfulness is a unique quiet luxury, tranquility and beauty ❤
I had booked and stayed for 2 nights with my wife and parents, everything (such as service, location, atmosphere, the condition of the room, etc…), we were very satisfied. So we have decided to prolong one more night, and we were very happy.
Last year my wife, I, and my parents stayed at Tentrem in Jogjakarta, and we were satisfied.
Last month my parents with my siblings also stayed there (Tentrem in Semarang) for their trip and they were satisfied as well.
If I really have to put something a bit pity:
- The ‘entrance’ of the basement parking is a bit small for the car
- The air condition (the temperature) during the breakfast was a little bit hot.
Beside those two, we were very satisfied 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Nice and decent room size. Complete of room needed. In front of Solo Balapan Statiun. Besides Alfamart. Easy access. But every day, the same menu of breakfast bubur ayam, nasi goreng, nasi putih, coffee, tea, bread etc.
I recently visited Solo for a business trip and stayed at Moxy Solo. The hotel embraces a youthful theme, which is evident in its vibrant decor and atmosphere. While the hotel has a trendy appeal, I noticed that even in the higher room categories, some amenities were lacking, such as a minibar fridge and smart TV features. Despite the limited breakfast choices, the quality was quite premium, making it a delightful start to the day. The location of Moxy Solo is excellent, providing easy access to the city's attractions, which was convenient for my business engagements. The staff stood out for their enthusiastic service, always greeting me by name, which added a personal touch to my stay. Overall, Moxy Solo offered a unique experience that complemented my business visit to the city.

Very Good
HhajuwonoWe chose this hotel due to its distance to the city center. The service was friendly from the moment we entered the hotel. We love the beds and breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel to the others!
GGuest UserAbrikri Village has provided excellent services during our stay in Dieng, Wonosobo.
Starting from the pre-departure service when the staff member contacted me personally to assist our reservation for 16 people— especially when I asked their assistance to arrange our breakfast mode to be made at 2AM due to our specific agenda. When we have arrived at the Abriki Village, they were very responsive in accommodating our reservation by making the check-in process hazzle-free. The staff members were also really acommodating our needs, showcasing a true-identity of Javanese welcoming services.
The Villa is actually even BETTER than the pictures. The rooms are very clean and spacious, especially the Three-Bedroom Villa and the Two-Bedroom Villa. The in-room and out-room facilities work properly without any issues. Our family also had no issues on the wifi provided as it can be accessed in all the area of the Villa.
As for the breakfast, even though the breakfast menu are quite standard as it serves the basic Indonesian buffet style, yet our family really enjoyed the food and beverages provided.
The location for the Villa is also convenient as it’s located 5 minutes from Alun-alun of Wonosobo City and 40-50 minutes to reach Puncak Sikunir Dieng.
For me personally, this villa deserves a 5-star due to its excellent services, facilities, and locations.
However, there are still rooms of improvement, such as additional services like Netflix for each room, more varieties of breakfast option, and the balcony/terrace of 3-bedroom and 2-bedroom villa’s entrance that should have a roof that would cover us from the rain when entering the villa.
Nevertheless, if I had chance to go back to Dieng, Wonosobo, I would CERTAINLY BE DELIGHTED to stay again at the Abriki Village again. That’s for sure.
Thank you Abriki Village and Trip.com for making our holiday season unforgettable.
SSharon PSKhas Hotel is located nearby city centre. I walked out from the hotel to the left I can go to Queen City Mall and to the right I can walk to Pollux Mall Paragon Semarang. Outside of the hotel, there are some local eateries during day time and night time. There's also a pharmacy called Apotek on the right after you walk out from hotel main entrance. There's a IndoMart opposite and the price was reasonable. Hence, very convenient. The cleanliness of hotel needs to be improved. There are some areas near clothing hanging area and bed side table quite dusty. I have to wipe it with my wet tissue. There were 2 lamps in the room one on the table in front of TV and one on the bedside table both were fitted onto the table, hence it made the space of table being blocked. The welcome drink served in a small shot glass and there was no water dispenser for hotel guest. The bathroom design was not good as after taking shower the water will flow out to the sink and toilet bowl area as the glass divider was too small to block the water from spilling out to the dry area. The shower head was fitted on top to the ceiling hence a bit hard to wash our body thoroughly. The water come down from our head directly. There was no way to adjust shower head as it was fixed onto the ceiling. Our room 318 was next to 3 Airconf compresser. Hence if other hotel guests on their Aircond, we can hear the noise so loud at night. The hotel offered a gift voucher for Grab app user but the front desk staff did not inform us. Only on our last night stay, we saw the gift voucher appeared in hotel in house TV screen outside of lobby lift. But too bad, I can no longer utilise the 10,000rp discount voucher although I being taking Grab for the past 4 days in Semarang. But hotel housekeeper was very helpful and same goes to the concierge also very friendly and helpful.
AArierainblueI came during high season so maybe the cleaning staff wasn't very detailed (we found popcorn at floor and some stain at bed sheet). I complained and the staff handle it very well.
However this hotel located at strategic place so near from central city.
The hotel is connected to a mall, so it's very helpful for families with children (I brought a 1-year-old baby) if there are baby items that we forgot to bring from home. We can buy them at the mall.
Breakfast is complete but maybe if they have ”nasi tim” it will be perfect.
(In this case because my baby cant eat rice yet)
Thank you Po Hotel
AAndreas DamarMy second visit at this hotel. Their petit rooms which have excellent inferior are the best option for someone like me who only visit 1-2 nights & doesn't really have much things to carry with. PLUS ONE for their free refill on drink water, coffee, and tea. Thus are very helpful that i dont need to bother myself to go out looking for groceries store at night.
MMiranda TjahjadiHave stayed since last year. Everything is good and not disappointing. Just one input, please be more briefed by LG for hotel staff so that LBH is friendly. Especially in the guarding section in the outside area if there are guests, there's nothing wrong with saying hello or if you see a guest who is having trouble just opening the door, can't you. That's all the input, please be helpful to LBH hotel staff towards guests. And be more sensitive to the surrounding environment.
AAnonymous UserThis is always my first choice for me whenever I travel to solo. I love the cleanliness and fast check in process. However the parking space is very limited but they have extra space across the road right in front of the hotel.
GGuest UserRezt Hotel Semarang is a great budget-friendly stay in a strategic location. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, perfect for a short trip. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. It’s close to food spots and easy to access from the city center. A solid choice for travelers looking for a simple, clean, and affordable place in Semarang.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is good, the facilities are complete, only parking is lacking, especially for motorbikes. Yesterday I was staying on a motorbike, it was raining at night, my helmet was all wet. Maybe that's the suggestion
