I love this short one night stay with my daughter and the receptionist is very humble and friendly. I love this night safari especially the hot spring. If u ask me would I come back to stay? Definitely I will.
Overall, the stay was okay. The hotel provides free parking, which is a plus. However, our first impression wasn’t great. When we arrived, the place was quite crowded and we waited around 10 minutes in the check-in line, only to be told that a RM50 deposit was required in cash. Since we didn’t have any cash on us, we couldn’t check in and had to go find an ATM first. This wasn’t communicated beforehand and made the check-in process unnecessarily inconvenient.
Aside from that, the rest of the stay was generally fine. The room was clean, though not spotless. Hot water and water pressure were both acceptable. The room came with basic amenities such as a kettle, iron, hairdryer, TV, and water heater, which was convenient.
Our room included breakfast, and that was actually a highlight. The food quality was good with a decent variety of options, and there was nothing to complain about on that front.
Soundproofing could be improved, as noise from outside could be heard through the door, but it didn’t really bother us at night. Overall, despite the rough start during check-in, the hotel was mostly good and met basic expectations.

👉 Recommended for:
• Those who want a ”comfortable + reliable” stay (more stable than boutiques)
• Couples / short getaways / families
• First-time visitors to Ipoh
👉 Not ideal for:
• Those seeking ultra-high value for money (Ipoh has many cheaper options)
• Those looking for an ultra-luxury experience (it's not a 5-star experience)

💡 My Advice (Key points)
👉 If your budget allows:
✔️ It's worth staying (one of Ipoh's top 3 hotels)
👉 When booking, pay attention to:
• ❗ Avoid windowless rooms
• ❗ Choose a higher floor
• ❗ You can skip breakfast (Ipoh has better food outside)
We were accommodated in a refurbished room which was nice and clean. It’s located at a Din Sum eateries area with about 4 of 5 old time names like Ming court. Famous Cowan Tauge Chicken Rice restaurant is just round the corner.
The breakfast buffet were somewhat limited in choice and wasn’t impressive.
Overall we had an enjoyable stay.
Basically the hotel is ok in term of location and service. If they can improve below 2 items then it is even better.
a. Breakfast choice. Maybe i stay at monday but its choice is really limited.
b. Swimming Pool. If the close time can be extend to 10pm instead of 7pm then it is good.
Hotel exterior and rooms seems to have some update. Room is quite clean, shower water pressure is good, staff is friendly. Only issue I had was there seems to be some hair oil smell on the pillows, I used a disposable face tower to lay over it to minimize the smell, just a 1 night stay so didn't make a fuss abt it.
The room was clean, the location was good, and the service was fine. However, the front desk gave me a room facing the main road, and the soundproofing of the windows was terrible. It felt like I was sleeping by the roadside all night, listening to motorcycles and cars speeding by. I didn't get any good rest at all. If you have a choice, definitely pick a room that doesn't face the main road, otherwise, forget about getting any sleep at night.
The parking is on the sixth floor, and you can get free validated parking by showing your ticket at the front desk when you enter or exit. The location is excellent; you can walk to Taiping Lake and the night market. Directly opposite the hotel is a hawker center, making it very convenient for food, drinks, and entertainment. The hotel breakfast is fantastic; the food, desserts, and fruits were different on both days. We stayed for 2 nights, and on the second morning, which was the first day of Eid al-Fitr, they prepared authentic Malay dishes like ketupat, lontong, and lemang. The curries weren't spicy, so even those who don't like spicy food could enjoy them. The staff were efficient, quick to refill food, and prompt in clearing dishes.
The only minor drawbacks were that the check-in process was a bit slow, there were some white spots on the room floor, and the refrigerator wasn't very clean.
The hotel located at the busy road area but the moment you enter the hotel it feels like you're entering the whole new world. The chill ambient, cozy and warm atmosphere occupied the whole parameters. Staff are superb especially the front desk - Kaushilliya. The room offers generous amount of amenities and you won't miss out the excitement. The cons i noticed is just that the gym were close. Kudos to the hotel management and surely will back here on the very next trip to Ipoh.
The common and room interior design, decorations and furnishings are artsy. You will be drawn to snap a lot of photos.
It's location is about 15 minutes walk or less than 5 minutes drive to the old town area. There are 2 nearby kopitiams selling delicious local food and good Ipoh white coffee. You can have a good breakfast there to start the day.
Hotel staff were nice and always smiling.

GGuest UserI've stayed here several times, and I'm always satisfied. It's right next to a shopping mall, making dining and shopping super convenient. On New Year's Eve, they prepared chicken congee, red bean congee, and soy milk – they were all incredibly delicious! The breakfast is always satisfying and plentiful. The rooftop infinity pool is beautiful and offers great views.
CCQzhouEverything about the service was great, the staff were really friendly and always greeted us. The parking garage is underground, with attendants directing traffic. It seemed to be one of those lift parking systems, with all cars parked on the ground level. The hotel's facilities and amenities met budget hotel standards, making for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent, close to all the attractions. We basically walked to Ipoh Railway Station, Concubine Lane, and Han Chin Pet Soo Museum – it was very easy.

LLGM LGM1. Stayed for 2D1N with my parents and kids.
2. The resort is located quite far from the nearest town. It takes about 40 minutes to drive to Sitiawan, so it can be inconvenient if you plan to go out for lunch or dinner. The road leading to the resort is also quite dark at night.
3. The breakfast spread looks quite extensive, but in terms of food quality, I feel it could be improved. Compared with Shangri-La, which often serve items like beef, satay, salmon, and more premium selections, the breakfast here was more basic, with standard options like nasi lemak, roti canai, and typical local breakfast items.
4. For the kids’ pool area, the water flow from the large tipping bucket is quite strong. My kids seemed a little scared to play directly under it, so it might be good if the water pressure could be moderated.
5. There are also quite a number of house rules around the resort, while order is good, the delivery feels a bit ”school-like” rather than a relaxed holiday environment.
6. The cleanliness of the resort is excellent. The staff are friendly, polite, and very helpful, which made us feel very welcome. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped with the necessary amenities, making it comfortable for families.
7. Overall, it is still a worthwhile place to stay, especially if you are looking for a quiet resort getaway.

AAnonymous UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is beautiful and comfortable, and all my requests were attended to promptly. The staff were friendly, professional, and very accommodating. The food was good and satisfying. My favorite part was the lobby — it smells amazing the moment you step inside 😍 Highly recommended for a pleasant and relaxing stay
AAnonymous UserRoom age and looks old especially the flooring SPC wood layer already peeled out and loose after we accidentally kicked on it near balcony, but is broken easily due to rain water seepage in from balcony and luckily our feet didn't get hurts after accidentally kick on it, also in detachable condition so really deteriorating . Took RM100 deposit upon check in and we worried they will blame this on us but luckily they didn't say anything.
I hope the management will at least change the flooring, as it can pose dangerous risk and don't let bad things happen over only regret over it.
Breakfast is included, under age 5 is free.
GGuest UserMarina Island Boat transfer easy, although I feel a little expensive. Coffee was cold, they had wrong check in information and I almost tripped on uneven block surface exiting building to boat. Check in completed at reception , with correction to booking. We were in a lower tropical garden villa, which is cheapest room. We were lucky to have part sea view and part back of pool view. Other lower villas in this category, not so good a view. This said, room was gorgeous, despite dead moth in sunken bath area. All the staff were fantastic and helpful. Chatted to some people in over water villas, who were disappointed you could not swim in sea from villa, nor enter sea from beach around jetty , due to sea urchins. On the other side of the Island is Emerrald bay. Absolutely stunning! Beautiful beach and sea to swim in. Lots of space for sun beds, but everyday ran out by 11am! Suggest they get some more! Forfeited scrumptious in all restaurants.
