A place featured in my favorite novel. This was my first visit. It's about a 25-minute walk from the entrance. There were lots of birds in the pond along the way, making for a pleasant stroll. A separate 15 yuan ticket is required for the Western-style garden, in addition to the entrance fee. The decorations on the columns are elegant and beautiful, like the frills of a dress. Although it was devastated by the war, I could still catch a glimpse of its former beauty.

The Forbidden City is one of Beijing's key historical landmarks. It's a must-see, in my opinion. It was great that we could easily book tickets with an online audio guide. They even provided it in our preferred language upon request. Thank you!

We booked the Beihai Park tour at the last minute, but due to insufficient participants, the tour couldn't proceed. We're very grateful to customer service representative Xinxin for her timely call and assistance in rebooking us at Prince Gong's Mansion. The guided tour at Prince Gong's Mansion was exceptionally good, and our family felt we made the right choice! Our guide that day was Mr. Xiaoman, a top-rated expert in Beijing. He was friendly and enthusiastic, his explanations were lively and engaging, and the arrangement of space and time was excellent. After the tour, we gained a much deeper understanding of Prince Gong's Mansion, which was much more interesting than simply wandering around on our own. We felt the trip was well worth it. I highly recommend everyone to book a guided tour. I highly recommend Mr. Xiaoman! 👍

For us a first timer visit at the Beijing Zoo, this was a great encounter, kids really love it. We arrived around 10.30 which is quite a bit late, if you want a less crowd might consider to come much earlier. But all in all a very fun experience.

It can be visited from different locations, and the tickets are a bit more expensive, but it's better than the Water Cube.

I had the best experience at Nanshan Ski Village! ❄️The slopes were well-maintained, the atmosphere was lively, and everything felt very organized from rentals to lift access. It’s such a great place whether you’re a beginner or leveling up your skills. What made my experience unforgettable was having an advanced instructor who really knew how to teach with precision and patience. The coaching was clear, technical, and empowering — not just “follow me,” but real skill-building. I was honestly surprised at how fast I learned! From struggling with balance to confidently controlling my turns, the progress felt incredible. If you’re thinking about learning how to ski in Beijing, this is the place. Professional instructors, solid facilities, and the perfect environment to unlock your inner snow queen.Beginner? Maybe.Natural on the slopes? Absolutely. ⛷️✨

Don't buy together as a group; buy one person at a time to avoid confusion with the QR codes.

A massive crowd of people is here, the path is very steep, and there are a lot of people, but it's a wonder of the world. If you like trail running, go for it! Don't be afraid, overall it's okay because the price is the same as buying tickets at the entrance. You can buy them there, but if it's over 200 yuan, there's a 3% fee. So buying from Trip is more convenient as the price is similar. You get a QR code to scan at the entrance.

You should definitely go up the wall, but keep in mind that the cable car is at the top, and you're walking with a steep drop, so going down on foot is sometimes easier than returning to the cable car. We had a combined ticket for the cable car and tram. I thought we'd go up on the cable car and down on the tram, but it turns out these are two completely different routes that don't connect. Moreover, the tram wasn't running that day. We overpaid for nothing.

It was very convenient. You just presented your passport to exchange for a paper ticket to scan and queue for the cable car. Even though it was a Monday when I went, it was still crowded, even though it wasn't the weekend.
