Who Is Eligible for a Free Dubai Connect Stay?

To qualify for Emirates’ free Dubai layover hotel, your ticket must meet three strict requirements:

1. Layover must be between 6 and 26 hours

Whether you’re flying Economy, Premium Economy, Business, or First Class, your stop in Dubai must be at least 6 hours but no longer than 26 hours.

2. Layover must be the “shortest unavoidable” option

For example, if there’s a flight to your final destination at 2 PM (3-hour layover) and another at 11 PM (12-hour layover), you cannot deliberately choose the 11 PM flight just to spend more time in Dubai. Only the shortest necessary connection qualifies.

3. Must be a single ticket meeting minimum fare requirements

Your entire journey must be booked under the same PNR (one itinerary) and issued on an Emirates ticket starting with 176. Very low discounted fares may not qualify. The system could flag them as ineligible.

How to Book Emirates Dubai Connect for a Layover?

Booking Emirates’ free Dubai layover hotel is super simple. Once you’ve bought your ticket, you can do it directly through the Emirates website or its official app.

You must complete the booking at least 24 hours before your flight to Dubai (some official channels allow 12 hours, but it’s strongly recommended to do it as early as possible). On-site requests are not accepted.

Step 1: Log in to “Manage Your Booking”

Go to the Emirates website or app, click “Manage Your Booking”, and log in using your last name and Booking Reference (PNR).
