"This hotel was very overpriced for what we received. There was no pool, but the pictures show a beautiful pool. There were no cookies at check in, although it shows you get warm cookies at check in. It also showed ice cold lemonade at the check in, that also was not there. No ice buckets in the rooms, and the room was much smaller than pictured. The rugs in the hallway had large stains all down the hall. And our room smelled so strongly of onions. This place definitely did not match up to the posting."

"I enjoyed the property. It was clean, however there were some issues. The hallway near my room smelled like fish for three days. Also be mindful to look at your bill after your stay. I was billed for a second time after my stay. Get a receipt after your stay. They told me that ******* never sent them the money which was not a true statement."

"420 AND SMOKING FRIENDLY!!! This is the place to be if you are into that. My hall reeked of ********* often. When I came in at night, the smell went from the front door all the way to the back where my room was. I didn't sleep well from 3am-7am because the smell of the cleaner in the room had become increasingly unbearable. I was gagging, my nose was running, felt nauseous. I was hoping for a night away and to enjoy the solitude of a quiet, pleasant room and good rest. I had to leave by 8am because I couldn't take it anymore. At the front desk, I politely asked about the cleaner, and I said I didn't understand why it was ok with them for it to smell like **** in the hotel. She rudely said, "I'm sorry if you don't like it, but many people do. We can't go room to room to figure out where it is coming from". So it's a non-smoking hotel inside, but they won't enforce it. Guests are welcome to smoke cigarettes and ********* outside the entrance, the representative said. "But you can't smoke ********* in a public place", I said. She said that since it was legal and private property, it was allowed. When I was trying to understand the situation better, she became increasingly defensive and talked over me. I couldn't even have a conversation about it, so I asked just to check out. I believe a private business can make their own decision on this. So, an amenity of La Quinta is being smoker friendly, with a special smoking post outside the front door, I guess. I imagine the heavy scented chemical cleaner is to cover up the smoke smell. It took a few hours after leaving to recover from feeling sick. I paid $175 for this sucky experience. I've stayed at 2 other hotels nearby and didn't have these issues."

"It’s a fairly modern and new construction. Parking is free. It is next to a highway exit and therefore convenient for South NH and North MA. Heating is very good - it was in middle of winter with temperatures of negative fifteen and snow every where. The breakfast is American with scrambled eggs, muffin and toasts, oatmeal and pancakes. They have yoghurt as well. There are nice restaurants in neighbourhood. Clean rooms and towels and well maintained Overall very good value for money."
