Libo Hotels with Bars

Of all the places I visited on this trip, Libo was the most satisfying. Before coming to Guizhou, I rarely chose guesthouses, whether for business or leisure, because the quality of a guesthouse really tests the owner's ability and character, including key aspects such as cleanliness, price, and reasonable room conditions. Yu She's rooms were excellent in terms of layout and cleanliness, the view from the windows was beautiful, and the common areas were well-equipped and well-furnished. I really liked the wet rice noodles for breakfast. Getting around, taking taxis, and finding restaurants nearby were all very convenient. It was also very quiet at night, which was great for light sleepers. I'm very grateful to the owner for the complimentary bayberry soup. I will definitely visit Libo again if I have the chance!

Super location. 3 mins walk to restaurants & Xiaoqikong Scenic. Love the modern Chinese decor. Home stay Boss is warm & friendly, helpful in giving advice to Xiaoqikong. Room is bright & spacious, 3 seater sofa, study table chair, tea area, open concept bath tub, toilet bowl with auto flush, seat warmer, bidget. Cleanliness 10/10. Probably the newest & nicest home stayin that area. Highly recommend

The hotel is still a bit away from the east gate of Xiaoqikong, but the environment is very good, on the edge of the Li River, the parking lot is also very spacious. The homestay is relatively large and different room types. The service is also very good, there are afternoon tea, good night drinks, barbecue, breakfast is also very special, a bit Western. But the only downside is two points. 1. Hygiene, there are stains on the sheets on both beds, and the homestays of 4.9 shouldn't. 2. The homestay provides a pick-up service from Xiaoqikong East Gate, but the driver drives too fast and makes people very uncomfortable. Although we know that we go back and forth many times a day, we know the road conditions with our eyes closed, but we bring children and it is still safe first. This kind of car experience is very unacceptable.

I'm giving this a full five stars! I came alone during the off-season and booked a day in advance. As soon as I contacted the hotel, they immediately started their concierge service – arranging pick-ups and drop-offs from the station and attractions, and even upgrading my room. The 4th-floor room with a large terrace offered beautiful, quiet views. The hotel's location is peaceful yet incredibly close to all the sights, and they provided great local tips. The service was exceptionally thoughtful, and both the afternoon tea and breakfast were abundant and delicious. The cleanliness was excellent, with disposable bath towels and towel sets provided, and the bedding was very comfortable. The weather was perfect; I even saw morning mist and the sunrise from the terrace. The Yao-style foot bath was just what I needed – after visiting the waterfall and then Daqikong, coming back from exploring the ancient village in the evening and soaking my feet meant I was ready to go again the next day! It was a very comfortable two-day, one-night stay. Everyone I encountered – the concierge, front desk staff, drivers, and the guides and boatmen at the scenic spots – were all wonderful. Thank you for your hard work! I'll definitely be back next time!!!

Perfect for a family getaway. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and their service was exceptionally thoughtful. We had a child with us, and they didn't charge extra for the food our little one ordered. Overall, it offers great value for money. The package included afternoon tea, a Yao ethnic group bath, and a barbecue in the evening. Staying in the courtyard made time feel like it slowed down, and enjoying a barbecue and a drink in the evening was incredibly relaxing. It’s ideal for escaping the city.

Family Experience and Feelings: Advantages: 1. Excellent location next to the ancient city. 2. The rooftop swimming pool is quite nice with a wide view. 3. The staff were very attentive and provided good service, but the products and details didn't live up to the price. 4. The hotel has a light luxury design with a nice bar atmosphere. 5. The breakfast was delicious and nutritionally balanced, with freshly cut fruit and freshly ground coffee available in the morning. 6. The complimentary gift of wine and small tea packets was a thoughtful touch. 7. High-speed rail shuttle service was provided, but we didn't use it. Disadvantages: 1. The location is average; there are no views from the rooms, as it's located in a corner on the edge of the ancient city. 2. The fruit and pastries served initially weren't fresh. 3. The room design is unreasonable; the bathroom glass in the standard room and family room is semi-transparent. 4. There's no extra place to hang clothes in the room, and the electrical outlets are unstable. The air conditioner switch is conveniently located in the middle of the bed; it's very hot when you enter, and you have to run to the bed to turn it on. The room lacks smart home features, unlike other rooms costing around 200 yuan. 5. The foot bath basin was tiny, the herbal medicine packet was also tiny, and the water they delivered was probably boiling water; I almost got scalded. I had to add cold water until it was almost overflowing before I could soak my feet. Compare that to the huge packet from Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village.

This hotel is quite good, considering its location near the East Gate of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area in Libo. Our room offered stunning mountain and water views, which was truly refreshing. The hygiene and facilities were also decent, and the owner was very friendly. The breakfast was a bit monotonous, and the room rate was on the higher side, but it's understandable during the peak summer season.

The place is beautiful and everything in the room was so modern and comfortable. The manager even picked us up from nearby location when we didn’t get a cab. The food was also customised to suit preferences. I wish I had more time, I’d love to stay for more days. The whole team was so hospitable and helpful. Whatever we needed was arranged as per requirement. I miss the kids of the family so much. Highly recommend the place and will definitely come back in future. Facilities: complete. There is a bathtub in the room, which is very suitable for relaxing after a trip. Hygiene: clean. The room is quite big and the hygiene is very good. Environment: Very good, very convenient, there is an ancient city food street not far from here. Service: Very good, very warm, stayed for two nights.

My stay at Shanheyue's Balcony Twin Room exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious, the two beds were large enough, the bedding was clean and soft, and the pillows were incredibly comfortable. It has a private balcony with panoramic views of the mountains and forests of Libo. During the day, I could sit on the balcony and relax, enjoying the breeze and daydreaming, and in the evening, I could watch the mountain mists – the atmosphere was truly immersive. The entire room was impeccably clean, the bathroom was dry and tidy, and the hot water was consistently available. The guesthouse is very close to Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, and the owner was incredibly welcoming, providing thoughtful arrangements for pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing suggestions, making my trip very convenient. This is a great choice for families or groups of friends traveling together; it offers excellent value for money and is definitely worth staying at when visiting Libo!
