"What I like most is : The room is on the fourth floor. I didn’t pay for an expensive room so the room looks out to the backyard which is disorganized. If I pay more I would’ve gotten a better view. What I pay is what I get obviously. Nevertheless the room is very very nice. It has many lights and well lit and I love it. I can read without feeling that I am living inside a cave. The smart toilet is a place to for buttock massage.  The breakfast is quiet good.. It has fruit, bao zi and a freshly made bowl of rice noodles. The hotel offers fruit for free . I love to have fruit and the fact that I don’t have to buy it and carry it back to the hotel. I have daily house keeping . My garbage was emptied.  There are 2 massage chairs that are very good. The hotel decor in the lobby and the room are very pleasant. The owner has good ‘taste’. I am not a big fan of disposable towels. If there is anything I prefer, is I want to cloth bathing towels. I felt like I used a piece of enormous napkins to dry my body. This is not a deal breaker though as I only stay 2 nights. If I stay longer, there would be anything else to do because I complete the whole circuit in less than 4 hours. The next day I went to Yao Shan and there wasn’t many people . But being 65, the entrance is free but I paid 20 rmb for the short bus ride. I paid 15 rmb one way on a DiDi there and the same coming back. The location is at the extreme end of this neighborhood and would require a 10 minutes uphill to the entrance. The park is quite big. You have to walk 10 minutes to 15 minutes to the entrance, then after you buy the ticket, another 10 minutes to the bus stop so it is quite a lot of walking before you begin your journey. If I have to do it all over again, I would have spent more time at every stop. I misunderstood that route A and route B is different. Route B is exactly the same as route A in reverse. The information given by the owner should include the trail from the bus top to the bridge . There is an option to ride a boat and then walk a bit. The trail is easy to walk and well maintained and quite pleasant early in the morning and before closing as there will be fewer people . The hotel is a bit far if you have a lot of luggages.  In summary, this hotel is the only one that offers breakfast in my 5 weeks through China and it was surprising good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone."

"The Steigenberger Grand Hotel in Xiaoqikong boasts an excellent location right next to the scenic area, offering a private VIP entrance that bypasses queues for convenient access. The new Chinese-style courtyard is elegant, and the rooms are spacious, featuring private hot spring pools and mountain views from the window, creating a perfect vacation vibe. The complimentary DIY artificial crystal bead string activity was fun and a great experience. The hotel's service was attentive, with the butler promptly adding me on WeChat to assist with arrangements. However, the hotel breakfast staff disputed my kindergarten-aged child's height (120cm), insisting on measuring her. This was the only hotel in Guizhou that raised an issue about height, and the communication was rigid, impacting our family experience. I hope the dining department can improve their service."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right near Xiaoqikong Bridge, so you don't have to queue up to enter the scenic area in the morning. You can even catch the sightseeing bus right by the entrance. The facilities are a bit old, but the cleanliness is decent. There were a lot of mosquitoes, so definitely keep the AC on low. The service was good; they picked us up from the ticket gate and took us to the hotel. The best part, though, was the driver who dropped us off at our parking spot when we left. They took us exactly where the car was parked, which was truly excellent service."

"When we checked in, the room type we originally booked wasn't available yet, so they gave us a free upgrade. The next day, I wasn't feeling well and had to call 120 (emergency services) and go to the hospital. When we returned, the staff were very concerned about us and even personally guided us to breakfast, which was delicious. They also gave us many gifts when we left. "First and foremost, I'm not a shill, I promise! 1. **Transfer Service:** As soon as we stepped out of the high-speed rail station, we saw the hotel's business car waiting. The driver not only helped us with our luggage but also enthusiastically shared local travel tips on the way – like which attractions to avoid during peak hours and where to find the most authentic snacks. It felt like chatting with an old friend, and the fatigue from our journey instantly melted away. When we checked out, we even asked the driver to help us take our luggage to the station. The service was thoughtful and thorough from start to finish – the driver deserves a big tip! 2. **Room Experience:** We were so happy the owner upgraded our room for free! The room was very clean and smart, equipped with a voice assistant and a smart toilet. The sheets and duvet covers were spotless, the bedding was super soft, and the pillows were just the right height, ensuring a great night's sleep. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping in the morning was incredibly pleasant. Highly recommended! 3. **Service Details:** Beyond the impressive amenities, the service was truly a bonus! The front desk staff patiently answered all our questions during check-in and even gave us tips for visiting Xiaoqikong Scenic Area! **Summary:** From pick-up to check-out, every aspect of our stay showed the hotel's dedication and care. If I ever visit this city again, this hotel will definitely be my first choice! I strongly recommend it to anyone who values attention to detail and a great experience. A big thank you again to the driver for helping us with our luggage!"

"The proprietress upgraded the largest room. The room was large and clean. There was mosquito coil liquid in the room, but the mosquito physique was still bitten all night. The proprietress also solved the problem for the first time. The location is very good. Going out is the street, less than a few hundred meters is the ancient town food street"

"We traveled around Anshun, Guiyang, and Libo during the May Day holiday and decided to book a B&B in Libo instead of a chain hotel. It exceeded all our expectations! The room was super clean, and it was quiet at night, so we slept well. We didn't use many of the disposable toiletries, but they were all replenished when we extended our stay. The owner was like a walking encyclopedia, able to solve any problem we had. The proprietress was also incredibly warm and even asked if we'd like some sweet soup before bed. The breakfast was so plentiful that two people couldn't even finish it all! 😂 The decor was exactly as pictured, which really changed my previous negative impression of B&Bs. It's not far to walk to Xiaoqikong and Daqikong. Waking up surrounded by green mountains and clear waters was pure bliss – truly slow living. I absolutely love Guizhou!!"

"It might have been the off-season, so there weren't many people around. It felt like I had the whole hotel to myself, which was wonderfully quiet. In the morning, I woke up to the crisp sound of birds chirping outside my window – truly elegant! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit."

"This guesthouse is super close to the east gate of the scenic area, just a few minutes' walk. There are plenty of parking spaces right outside, which is incredibly convenient. The guesthouse itself is very clean and cozy. The hostess was really warm and attentive, and because it was off-season and not many guests were around, she even helped us upgrade our room. The breakfast was also prepared with a lot of care, offering rice, grains, and hot soy milk. Honestly, it was even better than some dinners I've had! I'll definitely come back if I have the chance."
