"Easy check in. Location is ok, quite a walk from the CBD. Room was FREEZING. The heater didn’t really work well. Draughty windows. The steps outside are an accident waiting to happen. No hand railing or light at night time, you can’t see anything in front of you. Also on checkout we needed assistance (6.30am) no one would answer the phone, leading to belongings left behind in our room."

"The location made it convenient for us to travel everywhere, whether by walking or using transport. Most importantly, the staff were very hospitable, always assisting us with various requests, including adjusting the room temperature via the central control. Each daily room service was satisfactory, with all amenities restocked and the room well-maintained to its original condition. The stay experience could be further enhanced with additional power points around the apartment and room, if possible. Likewise to have better room heating as well as Tasmania is really chilly from day to night. We still very much appreciate the stay, so thank you :)"

"This room was so wonderful! The room was warm and cozy and perfectly cleaned. Salamanca Suites is also right next to the Salamanca Market and a close walk to the main city area. The room I was given was accessibility-friendly, meaning the bath was really big and came with a seat. The shower head is adjustable and can be taken off the handle (not fixed in place), but the shower pressure is a bit low. Note that you need to go to Lenna (just up the hill) to check in first!"

"I loved my stay here! My stay started with one of the most meaningful and insightful conversations I’ve had while travelling, thanks to the friendly owner. It was wonderful for two people from different parts of the world to share perspectives in such a safe, welcoming environment. Not to mention how interesting the place! The interior design is unique and comfortable, striking a perfect balance between modern and vintage styles. Located right in Battery Point, it is ideal to fetch a good cup of coffee from local authentic cafes to start the day. And as a female, the cleanliness standard is commendable. As a female guest, I also appreciated the immaculate cleanliness, I checked in late and so to see a dry, spotless bathroom was a fantastic surprise. This is my first time solo travelling and my first night with Montacute brought me lot of ease as I explored Hobart, it was heartening that I almost wanted to visit the place again just to take a selfie with the owner! "

"The location is close to a small street next to the coastal pier. There are bars nearby, making it busy yet quiet. The decoration of the hotel is elegant, simple and contemporary. There is a laundry room on the floor, complete with washing powder and a washer and dryer. Although the closing time is closed, the door is not locked by visual inspection. The room is spacious and newly decorated. It is equipped with electric stove, oven, microwave and simple stove. There is no peculiar smell. However, there is no heating lamp in the bathroom, the water in the wash basin is very slow, and there is no bathtub. It's about a 15-minute walk from the city center. It's a bit dark in the middle and there are less people. It's a bit inconvenient after dark. But the airport Air-bus is right next to the pier, about a five-minute walk. For Tasmania's largest city, this hotel is a top choice."
