"We were looking for a midway point for a stop on our return to Paris. We settled on Le Relais Des Templiers after realizing it was situated in the Loire Valley. It was perfect as it allowed us to drive along the Loire stopping at various chateaus and points of interest. Our check in was easy and the reception was welcoming. The front desk spoke English which helped as our French is not the best. He was able to suggest places to look at in Beaugency and set a great tone for our short visit. We are a family of three. A couple traveling with their 18 year old son. The room was practical and the bathroom great. The location is excellent for venturing forth on foot to explore Beaugency. The breakfast was a perfect start to the day for us. We would stay at the Le Relais Des Templiers the next time we roll through the area. "
