I really love the Kempinski Hotel! Even though it's not a new hotel, everything about it is solid and meets my expectations. Ms. Maggie at check-in was very polite and generous, which was commendable. The bread rolls at breakfast were just like the Brötchen I had in Germany – a thin, firm, and crispy crust with a soft interior, only missing the **crumbs** on top. Our family lives in Tianjin, and we'll definitely stay at the Kempinski again when we come back to Beijing.

Had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I also received a complimentary room upgrade from a room without a window to one with a window, which made the experience much more enjoyable. The only downside was that the nearest train station is about a 15-minute walk away. However, there are plenty of food options nearby, which made it convenient for meals and snacks. Overall, it was a comfortable and positive experience.

What a pleasant surprise! This Orange Crystal hotel in Sanlitun is a hidden gem. The artistic lobby is perfect for snapping some amazing photos, and the subtle fragrance creates a wonderful ambiance. My room had a great view from the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the smart home features were super convenient for a lazy traveler like me. The mattress was so soft I slept like a baby, and the soundproofing completely blocked out all street noise. The toiletries were high quality, and the mini-bar was restocked for free. Check-in at the front desk was quick and efficient. If you're looking to explore Taikoo Li, the location and comfort here are both fantastic. I'd definitely come back again and again!

This was by far the best and most value-for-money stay I've had in Beijing. The room was clean, the toilet seat was heated, and there was a mini-fridge (though I didn't need it). It had a window for ventilation, and the surroundings were pleasant. The curtains were fully automated. Just before leaving, I discovered a music player, which I hadn't noticed earlier, so I missed out on using it. The front desk staff were also very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place if you're a couple visiting Sanlitun. However, if you're going to the Forbidden City by subway, even though Sanlitun isn't far on the map, it takes over an hour by metro. So, if you're short on time and planning to visit the Forbidden City, this might not be the best option.

Overall, my stay was very satisfying. The hotel's location is a huge plus; there are all sorts of shops just a short walk away, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was spotless, every corner meticulously cleaned, and the bed was neat and clean, incredibly relaxing to lie on. All the in-room facilities were in good working order, the internet was fast, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation with stable water pressure. The front desk staff were friendly and gentle, and check-in was simple and quick. They patiently answered all my questions. The hotel also has a self-service laundry area, which is really handy for washing clothes when you're on a long trip. They readily agreed to my request for a late check-out, so I didn't have to rush packing. Everything was to my liking, and I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.

However, as soon as I approached the front desk, Lisa immediately stood up with a warm smile and greeted me politely and gently, without any hint of perfunctoriness. Upon learning of my long and tiring journey, she efficiently and swiftly verified my information, smoothly processed my check-in, and meticulously explained the elevator location, breakfast times, and dining areas. She also thoughtfully reminded me about the Wi-Fi and how to use the water and electricity in the room. The entire process was highly efficient, with no unnecessary steps, saving me a lot of hassle. Throughout my stay, Lisa's service remained consistently excellent. Before heading out, I often asked the staff for recommendations on local attractions and restaurants. They were incredibly patient, offering suitable suggestions based on my itinerary and even advising me on how to avoid congested routes. On one occasion, I accidentally lost my room key and rushed to the front desk, feeling quite anxious. The staff member remained calm, reassuring me while quickly registering my details and issuing a new key. Their demeanor was consistently gentle, showing no signs of impatience, and they resolved the issue very promptly. Another time, the air conditioning in my room had a minor issue. I called the front desk, and the person who answered spoke kindly, carefully inquired about the problem, and immediately contacted maintenance to come and fix it. The issue was resolved completely in no time. Whether it was morning or evening, every time I passed by the front desk, the staff would proactively greet me. They were poised and courteous, speaking softly and genuinely, completely devoid of any superficial politeness. When guests had a lot of luggage, the front desk staff would proactively offer to help carry it. Despite the constant flow of guests, they always maintained a smile, and even when busy, they attended to each customer with meticulous care, never cutting corners because of the crowd. For older guests, they would slow down their speech and patiently explain everything; for younger travelers, they were concise and efficient, always thinking from the guest's perspective and catering to diverse needs. While the hotel's overall environment was very good, it was truly this group of dedicated front desk staff that added so much warmth to my entire trip. They were diligent and responsible in their work, providing professional and highly skilled service. They consistently handled all sorts of guest inquiries with composure and organization. From simple check-ins to offering travel advice and promptly resolving unexpected issues during the stay, every detail was handled perfectly. They didn't just complete their duties; they genuinely considered problems from the customer's point of view and did their best to resolve any difficulties we encountered. When traveling away from home, an unfamiliar city can often leave one feeling a lack of belonging. The thoughtful service at this hotel's front desk eliminated the fatigue and unfamiliarity of travel. I must say, excellent front desk service significantly enhances the stay experience. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I return to this city, and I highly recommend it to any travelers visiting the area. It is these dedicated service professionals who elevate the hotel's overall reputation. I'm a returning guest. I stayed here for a month in 2021, and with the US Embassy right across the street, security is definitely not a concern. It's less than a ten-minute walk to Liangmaqiao subway station, making it very convenient to get to many places. This time, I came to visit the Beijing Auto Show and decided to stay here again. There are plenty of dining options nearby on Xiaoyun Road or Liangmaqiao Road, making the overall location very convenient. Hanting's service has always been excellent; the housekeepers and front desk staff are all friendly and welcoming. I didn't take many photos, especially since it's a sensitive area with armed police, so it's best not to take pictures near the hotel. I'll just share a few photos of the surroundings and the auto show.

Cleanliness: I personally felt the housekeeping was up to standard. Environment: The overall vibe was nice, with a cozier, warmer style. The price was also quite affordable for Beijing. They were very accommodating to unaccompanied minors; we were two 16-year-old students, and they registered us and communicated with our parents while still protecting our privacy. The staff were also very enthusiastic and helpful. The facilities were comprehensive. The hotel is conveniently located near a subway station and bus stop, and Sanlitun is just a short walk away, making transportation very easy. The only minor drawback might be that the hotel's WiFi signal wasn't great. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay, and I'd come back again.

Palace International Hotel was exceptionally well maintained, with spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms which offered us a pleasant stay. Its location was highly convenient, particularly for travelers catching an early morning high-speed rail service from Chaoyang Railway Station. However, what truly distinguished this hotel was the outstanding hospitality of its staff. We were deeply impressed by the warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness of the operations team throughout our stay. Special thanks to Miss Gao, who was exceptionally efficient, proactive, and meticulous in arranging the wheelchair assistance we urgently required at Chaoyang Railway Station. Her thoughtful coordination and genuine care provided tremendous reassurance and ensured that what could have been a stressful journey was handled seamlessly and comfortably. Thank you to Miss Gao and the entire team for making our visit to Beijing such an enjoyable and memorable experience. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.

The gym was another highlight – all the equipment was brand new and there was a great variety, perfect for a good workout.
