Hotels in Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen, Beijing

AMAZING SERVICE!! Room cleaning is always spotless. After room cleaning, the room always has a very pleasant fresh and harmonious aroma. The hotel security seemed great with 24hr front desk, elevators that only allow you to go to the floor specific to your room key is allocated to and multiple locks on the room door. The location is right opposite an amazing fruit store with very cheap and tasty fruits and snacks. The hotel is around a 15 min walk from a really nice park too. There is a bus stop directly outside the hotel entrance, that can connect you to anywhere in Beijing. The inside of the hotel is very nicely decorated giving it a very premium feel. You will have to travel 30 to 60+ mins to get to the forbidden city, summer palace, hutongs etc. (via bus) but the bus fair is only 1 yuan with Alipay and the bus ride is really enjoyable, reliable and convenient. You can also rent a bike (blue ones are the best) as biking is best form of travel in Beijing!! The room toilet is very nice and so is the shower, feels very new and well built. The beds are super comfortable, the room is quiet, the bedding is so plush and comfy and the air conditioning is very silent. I recommend this hotel!! You also get lots of snacks and unlimited bottled water, the staff is very friendly.

Decided to try Manxin Mansion with a 'let's see' attitude, and it turned out to be a genuine Beijing courtyard hotel. My kids absolutely loved the Little Yellow Duck family suite, so we immediately extended our stay for another four nights at the front desk. The room was clean and odor-free, the best part being no smoke smell whatsoever. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic. They'd spot us from a distance and come over to help with our luggage. When we left, they personally saw us off at the station and even helped us mail our express package. I especially have to mention the hotel's memory foam pillows – they ensured I slept soundly every night until dawn. Loved them, loved them!

This hotel was an absolute pleasure to stay in. The location is super convenient for getting around, and the room was spotlessly clean. The bedding was so soft and comfortable, I slept like a baby. All the amenities were great – the fridge and screen-mirroring TV worked perfectly. The front desk staff were really friendly and attentive, always quick to respond to any requests. The soundproofing was good too, so I wasn't disturbed in the morning. Excellent value for money, and the hygiene details were well taken care of. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Beijing, and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling!

The location was great, but our room had no direct light from sun, and no windows opening on outside at all, with an A/C that was not working at all. The room was hot and not air moving, a terrible feeling. On top of that, the room was located just below the roof top that was undergoing construction work, which means lot of noise from early morning. The room is very old, walls are stained, clearly not looking like the booking site pictures. The hotel needs a big refresh. Right now the entire exterior is under construction, I hope you plan to do the rooms soon. Overall, not acceptable not to be informed that there is big construction work done at the moment, and having a room with no external ventilation and AC working should not even be commercialized. A rip off for the price paid.

My stay here was excellent! The hotel is in a fantastic location – quiet yet central, making it super convenient for getting around. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and very bright, and it was spotlessly clean. The bedding was so soft and comfortable, I slept like a baby. The common areas were clean and tastefully decorated, and the front desk staff were incredibly patient and attentive, answering all my questions. Overall, the service was thoughtful and top-notch. It's truly great value for money, and I highly recommend it!

Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the metro, restaurants, cafés, and local attractions are all within easy reach, making it incredibly convenient to get around. What truly made my stay exceptional, however, was the staff. Every single member of the team was incredibly lovely, kind, and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond whenever I needed assistance, always with a smile and a willingness to help. Their hospitality made me feel so welcome throughout my stay. A big shout-out to the entire team for making my visit such a positive experience. Your kindness and professionalism did not go unnoticed! The hotel was very comfortable and clean. We took a room perfect for only sleeping as we were in the hotel room only for the night. It is well located, near the temple of heaven and not far from the forbidden city and the other places to visit. We had no windows which wasn't bothersome for 4 nights. The staff is very kind. I recommend the hotel if you want to visit beijing!

The room was clean and tidy, and the service was excellent. It's conveniently located, just an 800-meter walk to the East Gate of the Temple of Heaven and quite close to the subway station. You can easily enjoy the food near the South Gate of the Temple of Heaven anytime. They even gave a thoughtful little gift at check-out. The hotel offers great value for money in its area.

The room design is absolutely amazing! The front desk staff, especially the young man, was incredibly thoughtful. He was more than happy to help store our luggage before check-in and after check-out. ❤️ My child said they want to stay here again next time we're in Beijing! ❤️ Plus, the food at the hotel's ground floor restaurant is really delicious 😋. The little design details are super charming: the mirror says 'you look good,' the pillow says 'stop thinking,' and even the caisson ceiling decoration in the elevator is beautiful.

Great location! It's not far to walk to Tiananmen Square, and there are many traditional snack shops nearby. It's right by Zhengyangmen Gate, on the central axis of the city, and right next to the Qianmen Street snack street and Dashilar area. Beijing Fun is also close by, with all sorts of restaurants, clothing stores, cafes, and bookstores – perfect for photoshohoots. There's a Bianyifang Peking Duck restaurant downstairs, but honestly, after a while, the taste is just so-so. The room was a bit small but still got plenty of light, and the price was reasonable. It's a good choice for first-time visitors to Beijing, with lots of hutongs to explore nearby too.
