Hotels in Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen, Beijing

Stayed here for a week, very caring and polite staff. Although they claim to speak English - they don't, had to use an app. Breakfast was well served. Only once forgot to give us new towels. You can easily get to a sub station nearby as well as a few landmarks on foot. Got a few decent restaurants next door. You can also order delivery to the hotel (not only food, taobao for example). Definitely would consider staying here again. Thank you!

My stay here was truly heartwarming! The room was spotless and fresh, without any strange smells, making for a very comfortable experience. The staff were attentive and thoughtful, and incredibly friendly and easygoing, making you feel as warm and at ease as if you were with family. The hotel itself has a charming, antique feel with a unique and tasteful decor. Plus, getting to all the attractions is super convenient, making travel hassle-free and easy. The whole experience was delightful, and I genuinely recommend it to everyone!

I booked this hotel for a business trip. The facilities are complete, it's quiet for sleeping, and the soundproofing is good. It's clean and hygienic, and the service was perfect. The lovely lady at the front desk even upgraded my room! The transportation outside is convenient, with a bus stop less than 50 meters away, making it easy to get anywhere. It's also easy to find places to eat just across the pedestrian bridge. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance.

Apart from the renovation which we were told beforehand, the room we had was dark (probably because it was a windowless room), humid, aircon wasn’t strong but they provided a fan. Could smell urine even with the toilet seat covered, toilet door was closed, to a point that i was awaken by the foul smell. Had to spray perfume to have it barely covered. Ventilation was super bad. Cons aside, service was good, fridge in room had free drinks. Would recommend to book a window room if you had to even though friend that stayed in the window room said it was bad too. There’s a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too.

My stay here was excellent! The hotel is in a fantastic location – quiet yet central, making it super convenient for getting around. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and very bright, and it was spotlessly clean. The bedding was so soft and comfortable, I slept like a baby. The common areas were clean and tastefully decorated, and the front desk staff were incredibly patient and attentive, answering all my questions. Overall, the service was thoughtful and top-notch. It's truly great value for money, and I highly recommend it!

Red candied hawthorn skewers hang under the eaves, casting a warm glow. There's no need to go out of your way; you're instantly in the heart of authentic old city life. The walk to the subway station is just as pleasant and effortless, a leisurely stroll of mere minutes, and you're on a rail line that connects you to the entire city. Whether you're heading to Chang'an Avenue to catch the sunrise or venturing to Sanlitun for a taste of urban trends, you can skip the worries of traffic jams and waiting for buses. From the moment you step into the hotel lobby, the front desk staff greets you with a warm smile, meticulously helps you plan unique local itineraries, and points out the intangible cultural heritage shops hidden within Qianmen Street. This thoughtful care imbues your entire trip with warmth from the very first second of your arrival.

First off, the staff were really welcoming and helpful. The room itself was pretty quiet, which was nice. It had a fridge and a washing machine, but oddly, nowhere to hang clothes. It's not far from the metro station, about a 7-8 minute walk. The bathroom cabinet was a bit worn, though. There were no proper toothbrush cups, just disposable ones, and the towels were also disposable.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, just about a ten-minute walk from Tian Tan Dong Metro Station and the East Gate of the Temple of Heaven Park. There are plenty of Peking duck, hot pot, and snack options nearby. It's also super convenient to get to many attractions along the central axis by taxi. The hotel service is great, and the duplex rooms are perfect for families. Highly recommend!

The location is pretty good, right next to the Longfu Temple commercial district, and the view is nice too. The service was also generally acceptable. There are just some minor issues with the room design, for example, there's no power outlet next to the vanity mirror, which is quite inconvenient if you need to use a curling iron or hairdryer in front of it. Also, on my last day, there was a brief hot water outage. The next day, when I tried to take a bath, I noticed the water coming out was a bit dirty (perhaps due to the heavy rain the day before?), see attached picture. I hope the building's water supply system can be partially upgraded in the future.

Got a free room upgrade, so overall the experience was great and I was very satisfied with my stay. Plus, there's self-service laundry, which is a bonus! 👍 When I first arrived around 1 PM, it was scorching hot outside, but the lobby was a cool relief. After waiting for the room to be cleaned, I checked in to find it surprisingly spacious and comfortable. They even gave me a fridge magnet as a souvenir. Big thanks to the front desk staff!
