Hotels in Beijing Railway Station, Beijing

This guesthouse, tucked away in a hutong, is the former residence of Edgar Snow and perfectly captures the old Beijing hutong charm. I stayed at Beijing Zhong An Hotel for three days, and my overall experience was excellent. The hotel staff were warm and attentive; one of the service guys even helped me carry my luggage to the room. During my stay, I saw many foreign guests, which created a great atmosphere. The breakfast, especially, was a highlight. It was a Western and Chinese buffet with a rich variety of authentic dishes, catering to both Chinese breakfast preferences and Western light meals. The hotel's location is also superb, close to Beijing Railway Station. There's a small alleyway from the hutong that leads you to the hotel in about a hundred meters, and it's also very near Tiananmen Square, making transportation incredibly convenient. Overall, it's great value for money and highly recommended.

It’s situated opposite the Beijing railway station and there is a subway station round the corner from the hotel, which we find super convenient to get about. It’s line 2 on the subway and it’s only a few stops to Qianmen so it’s really quite central too. The hotel itself is superb, from staff service. Cleanliness and comfort. We are a family of 4 with two grown up children and 1 King size bed with 2 single beds arrangement room is very hard to find. This hotel not only fulfil this, they also have 2 separate toilets, 2 shower cubicles and a bath. The room is super spacious. The buffet style breakfast has a wide selection of choices and it runs from 6 to 10:30am during weekdays and to 11 am at weekends so it suited people who need to wake up early for further excursions and people who wants a lye in in the hotel’s comfy beds. I honestly wouldn’t hesitate to use this hotel again if we are to come to Beijing again. In fact we are already looking for Howard Johnson chain for our next trip to Chengdu😍

There are almost no complaints about the hotel. The location is well located deep in the block, but not far from its main street. There are plenty of shops and cafes relative to the other areas we visited. The rooms are spacious and clean enough, there is almost everything you need, albeit at a minimum. The Internet is relatively good. Correct staff. There are two rough edges in the overall good portrait of the hotel. First, in the mornings, starting at 6 o'clock, it's noisy outside, something is being repaired, garbage is being taken out. Secondly, the bathroom and toilet are located behind a glass partition, the bed is tightly pushed against it, and if you accidentally touch the glass, it vibrates with loud and unpleasant sounds.

This is a very good choice for a family hotel, two large beds, big room and nice sized bathroom. Location is excellent only 1 min to Beijing Railway station metro. Shops and restaurants 100m outside. Close to Wangfujing, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven etc. The morning breakfast is incredible. At least 10-12 selections, then dim sum and hot pot. Coffee and pastry section, large seating area with spacious seating. I don't think its possible to find a better breakfast at this price point. For those a little adventurous there's a barber in the Hutong less than 3 min away for authentic Chinese barber experience, inquire at reception. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Use a language app to figure out laundry settings. Overall wonderful experience with a suprise gift from the hotel on checkout.

The hotel is not really close to a metro station, but nothing in Beijing is, I guess. It is on a quiet street, close enough to an area with shopping malls. There are lot of food and shops very near. The rooms are cosy and good enough for the value. One of the receptionist is super helpful and kind and attended to all my needs, that were a lot :) There is a small temple near by that has musical performances every day.

Having visited Beijing many times, I've noticed that hotels closer to Tiananmen Square are usually more expensive and have older facilities. This hotel is probably the best one I've stayed at in Beijing. The facilities are very new, and the service is excellent, with timely housekeeping every day. What's more, the hotel's location is fantastic; it's very close to Dongdan Metro Station, making it convenient to get anywhere. It offers exceptional value for money!

The room was great, I loved it! I highly recommend everyone to stay here. The front desk staff were very nice, and the breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious and very clean. The shower in the room was excellent and very comfortable. The hotel is also very close to all the attractions, and getting around is super convenient. I definitely recommend staying here!

The hotel is located opposite Beijing Railway Station and has convenient transportation. The newly opened one thought that at least the hardware facilities would be better, who knew that the thunder was stepped on. The water in the entire hotel should not be well deodorized. When you enter the door, there is a stench. The sewer is anti-smell. It is the same for a more expensive room. The bedding towels are all new, not bad, but the smell in the room is too catching up.

This hotel is located east of Beijing Railway Station, and appears to be a two-story house converted into a hotel. I noticed 'Yilai Hotel' signs still scattered around, suggesting it might have changed ownership without undergoing renovation. My main reasons for choosing this place were its affordability and convenient location, being close to both the train and subway stations. Even late at night, there are airport buses from Daxing International Airport that stop nearby, so I wasn't worried about transportation. The staff were friendly, and the room was reasonably clean. Although the room had no window and was small, I was aware of this beforehand so I won't complain. However, I'd advise travelers with large suitcases to keep this in mind. There are two minor points I could critique: Firstly, while the space beside the bed is a bit narrow, there's still enough room for a small bedside table or tea table, which would be convenient for guests to place items like glasses, phones, and power banks. Secondly, a curtain between the toilet and the water heater in the bathroom would be helpful to prevent the toilet from getting wet when showering. I initially considered deducting points for the facilities, but given the extremely low price, I decided not to in the end and simply hope the hotel can make these improvements.

It was really good, clean and hygienic, and the service was great. The hotel was also very quiet. What I liked most was its proximity to the subway! The hotel is just around the corner from the exit, which made getting around super convenient. I left something in the hotel, and it wasn't stolen. Later, I contacted them, and they even helped me mail it back home.
