However, two points could be improved upon: 1) The hot water in the shower was inconsistent, fluctuating between hot and cold. 2) We had to walk a fair distance to get breakfast. It would be a significant improvement if breakfast delivery to the hotel were an option.

GGuest UserThis place is a jem! The room we booked is relatively big with a balcony. Room is also very clean but do expect some bugs flying in.There is also a tub light hotspring. We are on the third floor so carrying 2 big luggage up took.some effort. The hosts were very friendly and warm. All ready to recommend places of interests or local must try delights! Breakfast is included and it is sumptuous! Really yummy local vegetables to go with porridge. Toast is also provided with fruits, coffee and tea. The dining and beverage corner is available for use at anytime. Everything is closed by 6pm in Miaoli so be sure to have early dinner or buy some before then. The hotel is also has a small vegetable garden with some rabbits and chicken they keep as pets. They built a boardwalk along the river but it is also easily accessible. Definitely recommend staying here!

GGuest UserMy stay at Zhejuan Dreamland was incredibly warm and relaxing. The tranquil and comfortable environment is perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and get some rest. The breakfast was particularly memorable; the taro and chicken soup porridge was rich and comforting, with especially delicious pork meatballs that made for a satisfying start to the day. There was also fresh fruit and boiled eggs – simple yet thoughtful. The best part was the two adorable and affectionate dogs on site, which added a lot of warmth and made the entire stay more enjoyable. It's a place I'd definitely want to return to.

EEvachang0604The barn-style rooms are truly unique and comfortable, offering a wonderful home-away-from-home feeling. The grounds are incredibly peaceful and serene. The broth of the vegetarian hot pot for dinner was exceptionally delicious, and some of their specialty vegetarian dishes were also excellent! It was great that we could continue exploring the grounds for a long time even after checking out. The fabric dyeing activity was a lot of fun!

HhugoThe room is large and clean. It's accessible from the alley next to the gas station. It feels like a quiet place in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The air is very good early in the morning. You can walk to the Strawberry Cultural Center and convenience stores. It is recommended to walk to the Strawberry Cultural Center because there are insufficient parking spaces.

The complimentary breakfast was simple yet substantial. However, the bathroom facilities in the room were a bit old, especially the water damage on the walls. 陳陳為方It is recommended to arrive at the dawn, in fact, a bit deep in the mountains, very few street lights at night are not very good to open, after arriving at the hotel parking lot, you need to cross a suspension bridge more than 100 meters, people who have a fear of heights can call the hotel to pick up (it is three kilometers from the hotel to the parking lot). It's a very quiet and fresh hotel, but the TV is AV terminal. If you have other multimedia needs, remember to bring your HDMI line (with Switch can't play), there is a Lylefu next to the parking lot. If you want to drink or eat snacks, remember to buy it first. Otherwise, the suspension bridge is a bit tired, there is only one vending machine in the hotel area, and the unit price is high (after all, traffic is not easy to arrive)
Although the breakfast seems to be less than the hotel under the mountain, the seasoning is very careful, the food is very fresh, and it is encouraged to climb up and eat. The hotel has no barrier-free space. If there is an elderly person with inconvenient movement, it may be really hard for you and the hotel. But good hands and feet want quiet and fresh space, very recommended.

GGuest UserWe visited on a weekday, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. The hot spring water felt wonderfully silky. While the rooms in the older building had somewhat dated decor, they were very spacious. The marble bathroom floors were quite slippery, so be extra careful not to slip. The owner was incredibly friendly and chatty, and the well-equipped tea-making area was a fantastic touch. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

紫紫楓Visited in April... The local guesthouse had a very clean and spacious room.
The guesthouse entrance was a bit narrow, so drivers need to be very careful with the surrounding traffic. The first room upon entering felt like the reception, so I stopped to inquire. The staff seemed quite relaxed in their work. I had booked the room in advance via an app, specifically choosing this place because it was advertised as pet-friendly. I also called ahead to confirm and made a note in my reservation.
However, upon arrival at the front desk, I still had to proactively inform them that I had a pet with me, as they charge a deposit and a pet fee (the deposit is refundable upon check-out).
Parking was a free-for-all; cars were parked haphazardly in front of any building where a space was available. It wasn't allocated to your specific room/building. I believe this needs improvement 😮💨. I was staying in one building, but my car ended up parked three or four buildings away, which was really inconvenient for loading and unloading.
Then there was breakfast the next day. Online reviews made it sound good, but in reality, it was a tiny space with only a few limited dishes. The coffee and soy milk were incredibly sweet, to the point of being undrinkable. I was very disappointed.
What upset me the most was that despite being advertised as a pet-friendly guesthouse, they wouldn't allow my dog into the dining area for breakfast. We were flat-out denied entry. When I tried to discuss it, they claimed it was to avoid disturbing other guests. However, there were only two other guests in the dining room, seated further inside. I suggested we could sit at the table closest to the entrance, in the corner – just a small spot for him to be. But they firmly refused, and I was absolutely furious.
If they had informed us of this rule either beforehand or during check-in, I would have understood and we could have taken turns eating breakfast. But we had all come down for breakfast without having eaten yet, and they expected us to just leave our dog outside?! I was utterly enraged. I really hope the guesthouse can clearly state that pets are not allowed in the dining area, or at least specify conditions (e.g., pets must be in a stroller or carrier) for entry. This would help other pet owners avoid such an unpleasant surprise.
Ultimately, it was a genuinely clean and spacious accommodation, but the staff's attitude left a very sour taste in my mouth.
