AAnonymous UserHonestly this is the best hotel I stay during my whole trip in China. Once I enter the lobby to check in they serve us with a tea. One of the lady also know how to speak some English which is good for foreigners. They don't really question us that much regarding our visa like any other hotel. The lobby is also spacious and very nice interior. The room I book for 3 people is so big too it can fit for 4 people. We were given the 8th floor so we get the view of the front of Nanshan. The laundry area is really nice, everything is there! The laundry detergent, the iron. And what I like the most is they have laundry services in which the aayi will help you do your laundry and even fold them for you! 🤗 In our room we also have a sofa which is great! I also ask for a late checkout but they don't have problem with it at all. After check out they gave us another bottle of water. Overall this is the best hotel I've had so far and will definitely stay here again when I came to Zhenjiang!😍 5 STAR!!

Ddr3amieOne word to describe this hotel: AMAZING. A beautiful, clean and luxurious hotel sitting just across the road from the Yangtze River. The tranquil and serenity enveloped me the moment I stepped out of my ride immediately relaxed every cell in my body. The staff are amazing, they actually made it a point to remember which room I stayed in. Got an upgrade and wow, the room was just amazing. They had a very wide breakfast spread for us to choose from, from the usual english breakfast to Jiangsu's traditional noodles. Be sure to ask for their baby lobster noodles and big bao, just super yummy. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant the 1st night and tried the delicacies they had. Puffer fish and what they called 长鱼, were really very yummy too. I really, really, highly recommend this hotel should you want to visit Zheng Jiang. I'll definitely be back again.

GGuest UserOn my way back from Fuyang to Shanghai, I chose Danyang as a stopover and checked into Xiangyi Hotel. It was a truly pleasant surprise! The hotel grounds are expansive, comprising several buildings. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff provided warm and attentive service. However, as it's an older property, some facilities are quite dated. I hope they can be updated soon to further enhance the guest experience.

GGuest UserIt is very close to the high-speed rail station, about ten minutes' walk, and the nearby bus station is also very close, it is very convenient to go to Sanshanyidu, the service attitude is good, and they gave us small oranges (although a few were broken) with smart voice control.

GGuest UserReally want to call me crazy at the Shuguang Hotel I just stayed in! As soon as I entered the lobby, the atmospheric decoration style attracted me. It was full of high-end sense and the layout was very festive, suitable for taking pictures and punching in! The room surprised me even more, the space was spacious and bright, and the details showed the quality. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the toiletries are of high quality and very comfortable to use. The hotel's service is first-class. From the front desk to the cleaning, everyone is smiling, especially the front desk Xiao Zhang makes me feel very warm. I also sent a small snack intimately, super love. The hotel's supporting facilities are also very complete, self-service laundry and robots to send things into the room, we ordered takeaway, and soon sent it over! ! This stay experience is perfect, the price is super high, I strongly recommend everyone to feel it, I am avoiding the peak of travel, no need to crowd people, not bad [victory][victory][victory]

TTomoko M 0926Members of staff at the hotel, including receptionists, are very nice and friendly, welcoming my arrival, greetings 'Hello' every time with big smile on their face. My stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. HOWEVER, there is only one small problem. When you book a room, please check very carefully if the room you are booking has a window or not. On the Trip.com site, it says; 'Has a window' 'Partially has a window' 'A fixed window' or something like this. Not only see some photos of the rooms on the website, but also carefully check if the room you are booking surely has a window or not. When I checked-in, I was told that my room had NO window. It was O.K. if you were in your room only to sleep, because the room is large enough, clean enough and comfortable enough. Nothing is wrong with the room itself at all. However, I found on the following morning that I could not see how the weather was like until I actually went outside, because I could not see outside from the window.

Next day I wanted to courier some parcel, they called courier guy, he charged very normal amount - No hide n seek, Overall I was happy with thier service. GGuest UserThis time, the king room with a bathtub was fantastic! The king-size bed was soft and comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep. The freestanding bathtub was clean with plenty of hot water, perfect for a relaxing soak. The printer and public computers in the lobby were super convenient, a lifesaver for business travelers needing to work on the go. The gym was well-equipped and clean, and the self-service laundry room with both washers and dryers was incredibly helpful for business trips or travel. The hotel was very clean, the service was excellent, and it offered great value for money. I'll definitely be back!

GGlenysMGreenTree Inn, Jurong (Jiangsu Province) is an oldie but a goody! I stayed there for 5 nights in late August/early September (2025). At first glance I was a bit dubious, but it turned out to be a really great place to stay. I felt very safe there and in the neighbourhood (day and night) and would stay there again. Excellent customer service ..… the Reception and cleaning staff were all really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The first room I was allocated smelt of cigarette smoke (no thank you!), but I was immediately moved into a nicer smelling room, which was absolutely spotless, quite large, and had a nice new smart tv, air con, an opening window with a flyscreen and security bars (essential for a ground floor room), nice solid furniture, pure white linen (impressively imprinted with “GreenTree Inn”) and a clean, comfy doona and pillows. A standard hard’ish Chinese bed, but I find them quite comfy. The old carpet runner along the length of the long ground floor hallway (where my room was) is a relic from way back when, but it was clean and well maintained, as was the rest of the hotel that I could see. The shower head needed fixing, but that’s an annoyingly common problem in pretty much every budget ＞ mid range hotel I’ve ever stayed in, in China. The hotel is only about 20 metres from Jurong Chongming Subway Station. Local bus stop almost at the front door (& across the road). The entrance to the old cobbled road (no cars allowed) & all its little shops is across the road at the lights, and a large pharmacy at the entrance (near the “archway”). Electric scooters galore to hire (via the AliPay or WeChat apps) outside the subway. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance once you get past the trades shops (plumbing supplies etc). My only gripe about GreenTree Inn Jurong (& this is a gripe I have for many hotels etc throughout China) is that smoking is allowed on the premises. I think it’s the worst it’s been since 2002 when I first started travelling to China. It’s awful walking into foyers and lifts that reek of cigarette smoke, and copping wafts of the smoke along hallways from smokers in their rooms (& ashtrays at lift entrances), and horrible arriving tired after a long flight and long trek from airports etc, only to discover you then have to request a room change to escape the smoke, and start all over again. No matter how accommodating the staff are, I could easily do without that hassle and the horrible smell. In my opinion, hotels etc in China need to up their game where that’s concerned, and follow the lead of the many countries which have banned cigarette smoking in all public buildings (including hotels), all public indoor and outdoor spaces, anywhere near children and shopping centres, on and near public transport etc etc etc.

GGuest UserThis stay was fantastic! From the friendly and efficient check-in at the front desk to the clean and welcoming room, the hotel's thoughtful service was evident in every detail. The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The breakfast was varied, and the freshly cooked noodles and wontons were fantastic. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way, about a 30-minute drive from the city, making it very convenient for travel. I especially want to commend the staff for their attentive and responsive service, which made me feel warm and welcoming. I will definitely stay here again when I return to this city!
