AAnonymous UserHonestly this is the best hotel I stay during my whole trip in China. Once I enter the lobby to check in they serve us with a tea. One of the lady also know how to speak some English which is good for foreigners. They don't really question us that much regarding our visa like any other hotel. The lobby is also spacious and very nice interior. The room I book for 3 people is so big too it can fit for 4 people. We were given the 8th floor so we get the view of the front of Nanshan. The laundry area is really nice, everything is there! The laundry detergent, the iron. And what I like the most is they have laundry services in which the aayi will help you do your laundry and even fold them for you! 🤗 In our room we also have a sofa which is great! I also ask for a late checkout but they don't have problem with it at all. After check out they gave us another bottle of water. Overall this is the best hotel I've had so far and will definitely stay here again when I came to Zhenjiang!😍 5 STAR!!

Ddr3amieOne word to describe this hotel: AMAZING. A beautiful, clean and luxurious hotel sitting just across the road from the Yangtze River. The tranquil and serenity enveloped me the moment I stepped out of my ride immediately relaxed every cell in my body. The staff are amazing, they actually made it a point to remember which room I stayed in. Got an upgrade and wow, the room was just amazing.
They had a very wide breakfast spread for us to choose from, from the usual english breakfast to Jiangsu's traditional noodles. Be sure to ask for their baby lobster noodles and big bao, just super yummy. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant the 1st night and tried the delicacies they had. Puffer fish and what they called 长鱼, were really very yummy too.
I really, really, highly recommend this hotel should you want to visit Zheng Jiang. I'll definitely be back again.

LLewis001Despite our late arrival, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient during check-in. They even thoughtfully upgraded our room and provided complimentary warm milk to help us sleep. The room itself was very comfortable, the mattress was incredibly comfortable, and the excellent soundproofing ensured a perfect night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious, offering a great variety of choices, and the service staff were courteous and attentive. In the afternoon, the front desk proactively offered us a complimentary late check-out, which was incredibly thoughtful! Overall, an absolutely wonderful experience!

GGuest UserThe price is really good for off-peak travel. From the moment we arrived, the hotel front desk provided us with meticulous service with a professional and enthusiastic attitude. Not only did they patiently select a comfortable room for us to ensure that we stayed at ease, but they also carefully introduced the beautiful scenery and characteristics around the hotel, which gave us a deeper understanding of Zhenjiang. In particular, the tourist route planned for us by Xiao Zhang at the front desk was so thoughtful! I was deeply impressed that she took the initiative to contact us when something accidentally fell in the lobby. Your enthusiasm and professionalism made us feel the warmth of home and made this trip more memorable. It is our luck to meet a front desk like you who serves with heart! I am very satisfied with this stay experience. There are many parking spaces, and there are places with popular snacks around. The room is also clean and tidy. The waiters I met are all warmly greeted. It is a happy and satisfying experience.

My stay was very comfortable and enjoyable.
HOWEVER, there is only one small problem.
When you book a room, please check very carefully if the room you are booking has a window or not. On the Trip.com site, it says; 'Has a window' 'Partially has a window' 'A fixed window' or something like this. Not only see some photos of the rooms on the website, but also carefully check if the room you are booking surely has a window or not.
When I checked-in, I was told that my room had NO window. It was O.K. if you were in your room only to sleep, because the room is large enough, clean enough and comfortable enough. Nothing is wrong with the room itself at all. However, I found on the following morning that I could not see how the weather was like until I actually went outside, because I could not see outside from the window.

PpopgfThis hotel boasts an excellent location right at the intersection of Zhongshan East Road and Jiefang Road, adjacent to Suning Shopping Plaza, making it perfect for dining and shopping. It's situated in Zhenjiang's tallest building, with the lobby on the 57th floor and some guest rooms as high as the 70s. From both the lobby and the rooms, you can enjoy stunning views of the Yangtze River and the San Shan Yi Du scenic area. Getting to Zhenjiang Station by taxi takes about ten minutes, and the San Shan Yi Du area is only a few kilometers away. There are also plenty of bus routes nearby, making it convenient to reach attractions by taxi or bus. However, be aware that Zhongshan East Road and Jiefang Road are currently undergoing road construction, which has reduced some lanes.
The hotel's decor is sophisticated and grand, with high ceilings that create a spacious, non-cramped feel. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and very engaging. The guest rooms are very large and well-equipped. Even with an extra bed, it didn't feel crowded. The bathroom is exceptionally spacious, featuring both a shower and a bathtub. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, which is a standout feature compared to many other hotels I've stayed in.
The hotel's breakfast restaurant is also on the 57th floor, offering a wide variety of dishes. Enjoying breakfast while admiring the view outside the window was a fantastic experience. I booked an Executive King Room, which also included a simple buffet dinner with fried rice, several hot dishes, a vegetable salad, small cakes, and drinks – offering great value for money. Overall, this is a very good hotel and highly recommended.

GGuest UserThis time, the king room with a bathtub was fantastic! The king-size bed was soft and comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep. The freestanding bathtub was clean with plenty of hot water, perfect for a relaxing soak. The printer and public computers in the lobby were super convenient, a lifesaver for business travelers needing to work on the go. The gym was well-equipped and clean, and the self-service laundry room with both washers and dryers was incredibly helpful for business trips or travel. The hotel was very clean, the service was excellent, and it offered great value for money. I'll definitely be back!

ZZhouqunlaThe hotel's location is great, making it easy to get around, and it's close to the high-speed rail station. The surrounding area is a bustling commercial district, but I couldn't find anywhere to eat breakfast. The room itself was very basic, and some of the wallpaper was peeling. The staff at the front desk were unenthusiastic, but the cleaning staff were decent. Overall, the experience wasn't great.

GGlenysMGreenTree Inn, Jurong (Jiangsu Province) is an oldie but a goody! I stayed there for 5 nights in late August/early September (2025). At first glance I was a bit dubious, but it turned out to be a really great place to stay. I felt very safe there and in the neighbourhood (day and night) and would stay there again.
Excellent customer service ..… the Reception and cleaning staff were all really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
The first room I was allocated smelt of cigarette smoke (no thank you!), but I was immediately moved into a nicer smelling room, which was absolutely spotless, quite large, and had a nice new smart tv, air con, an opening window with a flyscreen and security bars (essential for a ground floor room), nice solid furniture, pure white linen (impressively imprinted with “GreenTree Inn”) and a clean, comfy doona and pillows. A standard hard’ish Chinese bed, but I find them quite comfy.
The old carpet runner along the length of the long ground floor hallway (where my room was) is a relic from way back when, but it was clean and well maintained, as was the rest of the hotel that I could see.
The shower head needed fixing, but that’s an annoyingly common problem in pretty much every budget ＞ mid range hotel I’ve ever stayed in, in China.
The hotel is only about 20 metres from Jurong Chongming Subway Station. Local bus stop almost at the front door (& across the road). The entrance to the old cobbled road (no cars allowed) & all its little shops is across the road at the lights, and a large pharmacy at the entrance (near the “archway”). Electric scooters galore to hire (via the AliPay or WeChat apps) outside the subway. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance once you get past the trades shops (plumbing supplies etc).
My only gripe about GreenTree Inn Jurong (& this is a gripe I have for many hotels etc throughout China) is that smoking is allowed on the premises. I think it’s the worst it’s been since 2002 when I first started travelling to China. It’s awful walking into foyers and lifts that reek of cigarette smoke, and copping wafts of the smoke along hallways from smokers in their rooms (& ashtrays at lift entrances), and horrible arriving tired after a long flight and long trek from airports etc, only to discover you then have to request a room change to escape the smoke, and start all over again. No matter how accommodating the staff are, I could easily do without that hassle and the horrible smell.
In my opinion, hotels etc in China need to up their game where that’s concerned, and follow the lead of the many countries which have banned cigarette smoking in all public buildings (including hotels), all public indoor and outdoor spaces, anywhere near children and shopping centres, on and near public transport etc etc etc.
