Hotel Bug Brest
"The room wasn't big, but it was quite clean. Breakfast included fried rice, which was pretty good."
Hermitage Hotel
"The beds were much too soft and too low, the pillows were average, and the duvet was too short for two people. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were cold, and the hot dishes were consistently cold. For such a upscale hotel, the breakfast was not good. The bar staff were very friendly and accommodating. The manager, a blonde woman who seemed important, was apparently too good to say good morning to guests, preferring to be on her phone. Overall, of the three hotels we stayed at during our trip to Belarus, the Hermitage ranks last."
Hotel STATUS
"The location of the hotel is not in the city center, there are no convenience facilities such as supermarkets around. The hotel itself is very new, but the front desk is basically not English, the breakfast is very monotonous, the choice is very small and the same every day."
Intourist Hotel
"We stayed in a twin room. The room is small and relatively recently renovated. It includes a refrigerator, air conditioning, a kettle, glasses, a hairdryer, and a heated towel rail. Shower gel, shampoo, and soap are provided. The room was dusty, and hair was stuck on the bedspread—an uncomfortable feeling. There's a cold water dispenser on the floor. After checking in, each guest receives a unique login and password for the Wi-Fi. The internet works fine. The continental breakfast includes an omelet, two sausages, coleslaw, one boiled egg, three slices of sausage and cheese, butter, bread, glazed curd cheese, and tea/instant coffee. It's not exactly unappetizing or bad, but it's a bit basic, and you won't be satisfied. The hotel is located in the very center of the city. Nearby is a large grocery supermarket in the Central Department Store, many cafes, and a five-minute walk from the main promenade. All the main attractions are within walking distance."
Hampton by Hilton Brest
"Everything was great"
Hotel Vesta
"The area is quiet. It is good that there is a private parking lot in front of the entrance and behind the hotel building, because there are several administrative buildings around and it is problematic to park nearby during the day. Nearby is the 1 May Park, Gogolya Street. It is a 15-20 minute walk to the Brest Fortress and the pedestrian Sovetskaya Street. It is obvious that the hotel is located in a former Soviet building. The building has been renovated and brought up to the standards of a 3-star hotel. Although the lobby is a bit dark and the spirit of the previous establishment is still in the air. We stayed in a suite. The price for such a room is very affordable for Brest. The room is very large for 2 people. It consists of several rooms: a bedroom, a living room and a hallway. The room has 2 toilets. There was even a skylight in the living room, since the room is located on the top floor. There are 2 air conditioners, a refrigerator, a kettle, a TV and a safe, as well as several sets of dishes in the cupboard. In principle, the room can comfortably accommodate 4-5 people. The bathroom in the bedroom has a shower and a bath. Unfortunately, it was inconvenient to use the shower stall, because the water flowed from everywhere, but not from the top nozzle. However, we liked the bathtub. There were no accessible sockets in the bedroom, because they were covered by furniture, and in the living room the sockets were occupied by electrical appliances. We found a free socket only in the bathroom under the countertop. I would have liked to have a chair in the hallway, because it was inconvenient to get dressed. On the 1st floor there is a cafe where breakfasts are served in the buffet format. The range and quality of dishes are acceptable. It is obvious that the staff is trying. Otherwise, we liked everything."
Gogol Mini Hotel
"Small, neat, clean, beautiful hotel. Comfortable location, staff polite. Nearby bus stops and grocery stores."
Energiya Hotel
"The hotel is located on the 4th and 5th floors of the building. There is a parking space (not used). The room consisted of two rooms - a bedroom and a living room with a sofa, a table and a TV. A large refrigerator, a set of dishes and dining appliances, a teapot. There is no gel and shampoo in the bathroom, toothbrush and pasta. There is a cooler and microwave on the floor. The furniture is a bit funny, but everything is clean and not "killed." The dining room works from 8:00. Order on the menu. Cook very fast (cash, omlet). Breakfast and lunch, delicious and very cheap."
Chalet Greenwood
"The hotel that positions itself at a high level has left an unpleasant impression. I understand that the hotels are not responsible for the things left, but the shoes could have already been brought to the recipe, not to take them. It is disgusting and low. So if you suddenly leave your things in this hotel when you rest, you can forget about them. Because you have not recruited staff, but people who assign to yourself a stranger."
