About half the year the beach is swimmable and the other half of the year you can walk 10 minutes down the beach to where there is a safe cove to swim year round. Every November through March you can see the great whales playing from your balcony most of the day. Fantastic snorkeling is only 5 miles in either direction of the resort in Chileno Bay or Palmilla Beach.Beach chairs/towels and fins are provided for snorkeling or hanging out on the beach.
