"The hotel experience was fantastic! The room was spacious and clean, and the pillows were great, including two, which made for a great sleep. The front desk representative, Xiao Zhao, was warm and attentive, providing warm service and proactively communicating with us about the hotel's amenities. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center, making it very convenient for getting around. The breakfast was plentiful, with a wide variety of options, and the food was delicious. It was a great value for money and I'd definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!"

"The last stop on my Yunnan trip. Although the city attractions were quite ordinary, the hotel was incredibly comfortable. The location was excellent, making it convenient to go anywhere. It seemed to have been recently renovated, as all the facilities were very new. It used an older European style, but the rooms were large, the furniture was nice, and it didn't look cheap at all. The bathroom was also very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the complimentary snacks in the room made me realize that Jinglan Coffee also sells instant coffee; I used to only buy black coffee. "Pros: As expected from a well-established hotel, the location is absolutely fantastic. Parking is convenient with plenty of outdoor spaces. Right across from the hotel is Nie'er Park, which has recently added some new children's play facilities, including a Ferris wheel. The kids had an amazing time there! It truly lives up to its reputation as the hometown of a famous musician, with people singing and laughing, and an overall musical atmosphere in the park. Just through the park is Xiaomiao Street, which is very lively with all sorts of snacks on both sides. The hotel thoughtfully provided a list of recommended snacks, so you can just follow that to try them out. Beyond Xiaomiao Street is Nie'er's former residence, so this hotel's location is truly unbeatable. Our room directly overlooked the park, offering an excellent view. Cons: It was too hot; the central air conditioning wasn't cooling. I couldn't fall asleep until 3 AM. Eventually, I had no choice but to open all the windows, but then the sounds of fireworks and firecrackers were very loud, and there was also a lot of noise from young people, so I didn't sleep well at all. The central air conditioning really needs to be debugged and improved as soon as possible."

There was odour in the room when we first entered but after some airing it became okay. The room was still clean with good heating for the cold weather. There are quite a number of small eateries within walking distance and the hotel is not too far from the city centre and walking street."
