Cheap Hotels in Miyakojima

"Great experience in Miyakojima! Location: The hotel is located in the center of the city, which is super convenient as a starting point to anywhere of the island: from here, the taxi to any direction is within 30 minutes at a cost of less than 3,000 yen. There is a FamilyMart across the road and you can get anything needed easily. And there are a lot of good dining places in the neighborhood. I made no reservation to any restaurant but just take a short walk randomly to the nearby restaurant every day and always find delicious food (there is one Japanese-style wagyu BBQ across the street which is super good!). Room: The room is cozy and spacious. You won’t feel it too narrow to open your suitcase as hotels in Japan elsewhere. The bed is comfortable. Facilities: There is a microwave in each floor, which is useful especially you need to leave early in the morning and have no time for breakfast. And there are also washing machines and dryers on the 1st floor, which is a must-have if you have activities in the sea. If there is any improvement I must say, that is the light in the room is too dim and it is not easy to do makeups."

"The room view is simply incredible, hands down the best on Miyakojima. The Coral Wing rooms are newer, but not as close to the ocean as the Ocean Wing. Personally, I think the Ocean Wing offers better value for money. The buffet breakfast and dinner are served in the same place; breakfast is definitely more lavish than dinner. A huge shout-out to the staff! My husband left some clothes behind, and while Trip.com was no help at all, I contacted the hotel directly, and they went above and beyond to mail them to us in Naha! A big thank you to the staff for their help!! They were truly dedicated and sincere in assisting us, not just going through the motions. Thank you!"

"The hotel has a great view, and it was convenient to have so many restaurants nearby that were open even in the evening! It was also a nice bonus that we could use facilities from their sister properties!"

"The hotel has a simple design, with each room facing the harbor. Two bottles of mineral water are provided daily, and the trash cans are large – great! There's a microwave and vending machine with ice on the third floor, and they also provide large paper cups for ice, which is wonderful. However, the refrigerator is tiny, only for refrigeration, not freezing. The lack of shelves in the shower is a bit inconvenient. Breakfast is very good, with all the food being healthy; my favorite was the island tofu hot soup. There are many restaurants around the hotel. 200 meters ahead is a takeaway charcoal grill skewers shop; a box of four skewers costs an average of 600 NTD and is delicious. 350 meters behind is the nearest FamilyMart to the beach area. It's only a 10-minute drive to Don Quijote or AEON. For breakfast, you can go to the nearby rest stop (3 minutes drive) for noodles or seafood, and you can also buy souvenirs, bento boxes, bread, etc. – excellent amenities."

"The hotel is in a very good location, with a very good BBQ restaurant directly opposite. The portions are large enough for two grown men. It is next to a convenience store, Yoshinoya and McDonalds. The most important thing is that the local day trip will pick up guests directly at this hotel. Very convenient. You must take a taxi to travel in Miyako. It costs about 1,400 yen to take a taxi to Miyako Airport, which is about 4 kilometers. The hotel breakfast is very good, rich and delicious, and you can eat a lot. Very good."

"Amazing free local Miyako noodle locally grown vegetable and meat and fish for break fast every meal Was out standing ! Also loved the hot bath. And location is very central you can walk to many places by foot . Although it will be helpful to get around if you have a car . They also have paid parking space. I would recommend this hotel for location ( city central in Miyako ) hot bath , and all the locally grown yummy food if you would love to try ☺️"

"Spacious rooms and very clean. Basic design but good value for money. Location is out of town, you will need a car. But they have car rental on site. Overall it’s great. Just watch out for car parking spaces. They have a secondary car park but it’s 800m from the hotel and you will need to get the hotel van. The road is unsafe to walk on at night as no lights."

"I recently stayed at Bibi Hotel Miyako Kukomae, and it turned out to be an excellent base for exploring Miyako Island. The hotel is modern, clean, and surprisingly spacious for the price. Check-in was fully digital, making arrival smooth and stress-free, especially after a long flight. My room was bright and well-designed, with a comfortable bed, fast Wi-Fi, and all the essentials for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the washing machine and mini-kitchen, which made the trip more convenient. Everything felt new and well maintained. The location is ideal—just a short drive from Miyako Airport and close to supermarkets and local eateries. It was easy to pick up food or hop in the car to the beaches. Sunayama Beach and Yonaha Maehama were both within quick reach. Despite the convenience, the neighborhood was quiet at night, allowing for a restful sleep. Parking was simple and free, which is a huge plus on Miyako Island. The self-service system meant I could come and go at any time without worrying about reception hours. Overall, Bibi Hotel Miyako Kukomae offers great value, comfort, and convenience. It’s perfect for travelers who want a clean, practical, and well-located base while discovering the beauty of Miyako Island."
