"The check-in staff spoke basic English, but other employees didn't. Room cleanliness was a major issue; while general tidiness was okay, a thorough cleaning was clearly lacking. On the first night, a staff member put my friend's pajamas inside the duvet, making them hard to find. The second night, they threw away my facial cleanser refill, which was the first time I've ever encountered a hotel discarding a guest's items. On the third night, no one cleaned the room, refilled the water, or emptied the trash. I tried calling reception, but communication was impossible. We had to go to the front desk in person and show them photos of the room's condition before they said they'd send someone to clean it. However, after waiting over ten minutes, no one showed up. We eventually confirmed that no one would be cleaning that day and we'd have to wait until the next. The trash wasn't emptied, and it took repeated requests to get water, which was delivered by a staff member with a rather poor attitude. We asked for water and a trash bag for our rubbish, but they gave us water and towels. Generally, many staff members don't speak English, making communication quite difficult."

"This quick hotel brand is from Japan, and I've stayed at many of their properties there over the past two decades. I actually stayed at this Daegu location before. It's in a fantastic spot, right in the heart of the downtown commercial district. The hotel reception is on the seventh floor and features a huge lobby and breakfast area. All bookings include breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and even have a bathtub! It's about a fifteen-minute taxi ride from Daegu Dong (East) Station, and you can also get there by subway. The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day and can help you call a taxi. It's almost impossible to get a room on weekends, so remember to book in advance for a better price!"

"I've stayed in multiple Brown Dot hotels from Songtan to Busan and now here in Daegu. This is probably the nicest one of them all so far! Love the old brick style and the decor to go with it. The location is great as it's right in the city. Walking distance from a Korean-styled Starbucks that's very popular. This is the first time I've ever used a Kiosk to check-in and out which was very convenient with an English option. I must say that the check-in time is probably the latest I've ever experienced which is 5pm, but I was able to leave my luggage in the dining area with no issue then come back. Definitely might try to stay here again if I come back and the price was great as I'm a Diamond Tier Trip.com user so it was only $56 including tax"

"This is a newly opened private hotel, so the decor is quite new, but there's still a slight lingering smell. It feels a bit like a serviced apartment inside. The location is great, near Banwoldang subway station, and only about 200 meters from the three-story Olive Young in the city center. Eating out is also very convenient. The room is quite spacious, probably around 30 square meters, ample for two people, and you can easily open your luggage. However, the decor is quite simple. The bathroom has a glass partition, which is large, but there's no bathtub or full-length mirror. The room also lacks a small vanity mirror; there's a huge tabletop mirror that you have to move around to use as a makeup mirror. They provide disposable slippers and soap, but no other disposable toiletries. The smart TV can access Netflix, but it's all in Korean, which I couldn't understand. I also couldn't figure out how to turn on the air conditioning as all the labels were in Korean. At night, you might hear motorcycles nearby, so if you're sensitive to noise, you can ask for earplugs at the front desk. The breakfast is quite generous, though it mainly consists of items that don't require complex preparation. There are many packaged foods like packaged seaweed, packaged donuts, Yakult, and you can even make instant noodles. The auntie serving in the restaurant was very enthusiastic. If it were around 300 RMB, it would be acceptable, but at over 600 RMB in Daegu, the value for money is quite low. For a bit more, you could stay at Daegu Marriott, or for a slightly smaller room, Toyoko Inn."

"The room was spacious and comfortable. However, there was a noticeable amount of dust right by the entrance, which I had to pick up. I wish the cleaning was more thorough. Other than that, all the facilities were in good working order, so I had no issues during my stay. It was a nice bonus to have a Starbucks on site."

"The space is large and clean, and it's quite affordable, perfect for people who like to work out. There's a gym downstairs and they provide free gym passes. However, if you're bringing children, you need to book their spot in advance; we had to pay extra for our five-year-old. For breakfast, there aren't many options, just instant noodles every day, but I was happy with it🤣"

"This hotel was very satisfying. First, the auntie at reception was very enthusiastic and willing to let us check in early. Her attitude was consistently great throughout our stay; she'd greet us every time we left or returned. Sometimes, if she saw my friend and me waiting in the lobby, she'd proactively ask if we needed any help. I felt very comfortable and cared for. Secondly, the room itself was excellent – spacious and very clean. It had a large TV, disposable toothbrushes, a wardrobe, a fridge, an air purifier, and even a computer, which made our stay very comfortable. Although the breakfast choices weren't extensive, with options like instant noodles, dumplings, and bread, it was still filling. The hotel is conveniently located near three convenience stores. From our room, we had a river view, and there's a riverside walk nearby which was perfect for strolls with my friend. It's also very close to the train station and the airport, making it an excellent choice overall."

"The hotel is new and stylish overall, which I really liked. The hairdryer is powerful and portable, which is a big plus! Amenities were plentiful, and the front desk was quick to assist with anything extra we needed. The room was clean; it would be even better if there was a full-length mirror. The location is in a busy area with lots of conveniences nearby. There's a CU downstairs and a 7-Eleven at the corner. Overall, I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5 and would definitely stay here again!"

"This is an excellent hotel, perfect for introverts! It's a fully automated hotel, from parking to checkout, everything is self-service. I recommend entering only one name when checking in, as inputting punctuation can be a hassle when retrieving the room key. The complimentary beer service ends at 10 PM, and since we checked in after 10 PM, we missed out. It would be great if they could put it in the room instead. Breakfast is also self-service; you just go down and grab what you want. The selection isn't huge, but it's enough to fill you up."
