"Anyone who appreciates the ambience of an old manor house is in good hands here. The staff is friendly, helpful and competent. The food in the hotel's restaurants is excellent. Given the number of guests, the wellness area was completely overcrowded, especially since many guests simply put towels on the loungers and reserve them for the whole day. But that's the case in many hotels. Overall, recommended for a short vacation. Of course, riders dominate there. Dog owners also feel at home. But I would go there again."

"Good bourgeois house with long tradition. Renoved, cozy rooms and very good, good bourgeois culinary. The family-run hotel is very idyllic directly at the Obinger Lake with its own bath beach behind the hotel. The owners are very friendly, urtypical Bavarians, with which you feel well at the same time. The boss is always happy to have a track at dinner. The rooms offer everything you need, the beds are very comfortable. We had a room with sea view and balcony - we were happy to wake up from the birdswitcher - the church clocks of the neighbouring parish church support this from 07:00 a.m. We can recommend it much further and come back quite safely, also because we like the area around the Chiemsee very well - there we feel like home."

"If you go out to China and see this comment, don't book this hotel. (except for European Chinese) there is nothing around. You have to drive there. You can't stay at night. I don't speak English either. I thought about booking this hotel to take a walk the next day, but I couldn't go out at all after the afternoon. You have thousands of mosquitoes around you on foot. It's not an exaggeration. The hotel I stayed in opened the window facing the road and was noisy."

"Hotel is in a lovely historical building, we stayed in a main building. Room had nice design and was spacious, clean and comfortable. Bathroom had good and modern shower and there was enough space for toiletries. Breakfast was good and had varied choices. Staff was very attentive and friendly and overall atmosphere of the place was free and unforced. The only minus I can say was that in the rooms facing the road there was a traffic noise (it truly is quite loud), but it only disturbs you if you want to open the window. The hotel is in a convenient distance (by car to Prien 15 min) if you want to visit the Herrenchiemsee Palace. I definitely recommend the hotel and also the in-house restaurant!"
