"The hotel was lovely, clean, spacious and had a great view from our ocean-facing room. It was within walking distance of Hagi castle town so the location was great. I didn't book a room with meals included in the evening so the front desk staff were very kind and introduced me to lots of delicious restaurants. The bath was also spacious and clean. I took a bath in the open-air bath early in the morning so it was a little cold, but it felt really good. I was surprised at how much breakfast there was, so I couldn't finish it. It was delicious and I was very satisfied, and I'd like to visit this inn again. Thank you for your hospitality."

"I visited Hagi City to research Yoshida Shoin and the Meiji Restoration. Overall, the local residents are very kind. The owner and staff at Tagadai are also very friendly and welcome you warmly. Haha, I would love to come back and stay here again next time. The facilities are clean, and the rooms are traditional Japanese style. It is located right behind the Hagi City Bus Terminal, so the location is convenient, and there are large supermarkets and McDonald's nearby. I highly recommend it. Thank you to the owner. > < Haha.
