Yukei No Yado Umi No Yurikago Hagikomachi ★★★★
"A two-day hot spring hotel stay on 4/20-22 ~ Hagi Komachi, Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Sunset View Inn. Each room has an unbeatable sea view, and there are many lounge areas in the public area where you can sit and drink coffee and tea. There are also massage chairs, smoking rooms, movies, switches, and billiards. There are two hot spring pools, one open-air and one rocky. The dinner was also good, but the room did not have a bathroom, but there was a toilet! However, if you don't dare to go to the big bath, you can pay to go to the private bath. The sunset is beautiful!"
Hagihonjin ★★★
"First of all, when I checked in, the two guys at the counter could have been a bit friendlier... They might say this is normal, but the hotel front desk is the representative of the hotel (the face of the hotel)... normal isn't good enough... a straight face isn't good enough! In the customer service industry, a smile is the basis, even if it's fake! It was a disappointing feeling as soon as I arrived... Make sure you smile and laugh! Also, the lighting in the guest rooms is too dim... When I put on makeup in the morning, the light above the sink is too far from the mirror, and it gets even dimmer when I get closer to it... I'm not saying they should install a light for actresses (lol), but I wonder if they could make it a little brighter... Also, the trash can is too small. Also, regarding the souvenir shop's opening hours, if the check-out time is 10:00, shouldn't the shop's opening hours be 10:30 instead of 10:00? Even if I want to buy something on my way out, if it's displayed like that, I'll assume it's closed and I can't buy it... I'll just give up and buy it somewhere else... I think that would change sales... Also, regarding the drink vending machine in front of it, apparently they gave me milk even though I bought a cafe au lait in a carton... When I told them about it, they apologized, but then they seemed to be asking what I should do, so I just said "it's okay" and left it at that. But isn't it the customer service industry to act quickly and say, "We'll give you the real thing, so please wait a moment.""
Hagi No Mikuriya Takadai ★★★
"Okay, okay, okay"
Peace Inn Hagi ★★★
"It's neither good nor bad, but the sound of the toilet flushing was so loud it woke me up in the middle of the night! 😆 It was quite startling. The springs in the bed mattress seem a bit old; they were pressing against the base underneath, which was painful."
Hagi Ichirin ★★★
"I was tired because the single futon was uncomfortable to sleep on."
Resort Hotel Mihagi ★★★
"We stayed in a Japanese-Western room with twin beds, tatami mats, an ocean-view semi-open-air bath, and an ocean-facing Japanese-style room. The Japanese-Western room was new and spacious, more than enough for two people, so we were able to relax in comfort. The semi-open-air bath was great, so it wasn't cold even in winter. We booked the Japanese-style room just to sleep, but sleeping on a futon on the tatami was exciting and enjoyable. The futons were prepared for us at dinner time. There were two hot springs, and we were able to use the open-air bath and sauna. Amenities and a dresser were well-stocked. There was more food prepared for us at breakfast and dinner than we could eat, and both the fish and meat were delicious. The staff were very attentive, and we were able to spend a very fulfilling time. Thank you."
Hagi No Yado Tomoe ★★★★
"It is conveniently located in Hagi city. Some parts of the building are old, but it was well-cleaned. Calligraphy by past prime ministers and people related to the Meiji Restoration is displayed throughout the building, giving a sense of the weight of history. Dinner was served in the room, and breakfast was served at the restaurant. There was nothing extravagant, but the food was mostly classic and reliable, and it was delicious. There are many brochures for sightseeing in the city at the front desk. It is difficult to tour the historical district of Hagi by car, but you can rent bicycles directly from the inn, so you can tour by bicycle. The bath is small and there is no open-air bath, so if you are a fan of large public baths and open-air baths, you may find it lacking."
Grandjete Hagi ★★
"It was fun enough to want to stay a little more slowly!"
Hagi Kanko Hotel ★★★
"The staff were very helpful. They were especially helpful when my child was sick. I'd like to go again."
