"Really cute hostel in the middle of Ipoh old town. The owners and volunteers are so nice and it’s very clean as well. Check in and checkout was super simple and they have a great list of recommendations for things to do in Ipoh. Lots of social events happening here but it’s def not a party hostel which I loved- movie nights, game nights and food market tours were all offered during my time there. Highly highly recommend!!"

"The most comfy hostel that I’ve stayed. Not a typical dorm that I always imagined haha. I definitely come again whenever i hit my solo trip to Ipoh. Plus, they even provide kiblat and sejadah for Muslims to pray in the dorm which I really really appreciate. Complimentary free breakfast is simple but super tasty! Thank you for the warm greetings that I’ve received thru WhatsApp. They even text me to ensure my safe arrival at home! Hugs for Miner’s House 🫶🏻"

"Hostel located in the heart of tourist spots. Famous eateries like Tuck Kee, Lou Wong are all walking distance. Superb location for an affordable price! Not to mention Suky was very helpful and attentive, she had reached out to me first on check-in details before I could ask her anything. The only down side of the hostel is probably the street noise. It doesn't really bother me anyway however those who need perfect silence to sleep will probably need ear plugs. Overall, I'm happy with the stay and will definitely come back again if I happen to visit Ipoh!"

"This was the nicest hostel I have stayed in during my travels through Malaysia!!! The beds are extremely comfortable and the sheets feel like hotel quality They provide a good towel for use after one of their many hot showers in a clean and large bathroom There is free hot and cold water, a fridge and laundry services you can use The staff are friendly, polite and helpful Air con is not switched off throughout the day like some hostels (just turn off if you're last to leave the room) There are 3 entrances because at night the main doors are closed. But I was personally shown how to access the building at this time Thank you for restoring my faith in budget travel and providing me a good night's sleep"
