Canberra Hotels with Wifi

"I came here for a career fair, and needed somewhere cheap to stay overnight so I can my bus back to Sydney the next day. I found Little Drifter the perfect location for my stay, and the price is right. Upon check-in I was given a URL to a webpage where I can remotely open the room I was assigned. not super ideal since if my phone died, I can't access my room. Nevertheless, I paid $8 for a rental towel and got to room where I had the whole room to myself. I initially thought that I had roommates because the other beds were still messy as the cleaners didn't clean them up, but my bed was cleaned. The washrooms were clean, but I had a problem with the hot water from the shower where it would periodically run out and blast cold water on me, then it would slowly get hot again. This happened to me for my whole stay which was quite annoying since I had to constantly adjust the water temp and move myself away from the freezing water. Otherwise, I had a fantastic stay and would happily stay here again upon my next visit."

"Stayed here for night woth a friend. They had breakfast included with our stay, which was nice. The staff are all really friendly and accommodating. This place is also a short walk to the light rail and other restaurants/cafes around the CBD which was great."

"The hotel is close to amenities (shopping centre etc) but has been slowly deteriorating in condition and service over recent years. More recent changes include charging car-parking fees and removal of the restaurant breakfast service. Not up to the standard of other Abode hotels.."

"I recently stayed at Abode Belconnen and honestly couldn’t fault a single thing – it was a perfect 10/10 experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed, not just as guests but as pet parents. Finding a truly dog-friendly hotel that still feels modern, clean, and a little bit luxurious is so rare, but Abode nails it. The room was spotless and beautifully designed with a calm, contemporary vibe. It didn’t have that “pet room” feel that some places have – everything looked and smelled fresh. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the linens were crisp and felt super comfortable and high class. What really impressed me was how easy they made travelling with my dog. They provided everything we needed, and had a dog toilet area on level 5 (Sunset photo i posted). Staff were helpful and never once made me feel like traveling with a dog was a burden. The location is also super convenient with shops, restaurants, and even a Woolies just downstairs, plus secure parking. It’s one of the few hotels I’ve stayed at that manages to feel both practical and stylish. If you’re looking for a dog-friendly place in Canberra that still feels like a quality stay, Abode Belconnen is honestly unbeatable. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend"

"The hotel was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay, including a full kitchen and a cozy living area. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and spotless. The location is right in the city center, close to restaurants, cafes, and public transport, which made getting around very easy. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing quick responses to any questions I had. The only minor downside was that the noise from nearby streets could be a bit noticeable in the evenings, but it didn’t significantly affect my stay. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Canberra, whether for business or leisure. I would definitely stay here again!"

"This is a very affordable place to stay. Even though the bathrooms and toilets are shared, they're kept really clean. Each floor also has a shared fridge and kitchen with a kettle and toaster. There's an even bigger communal kitchen on the first floor where you can cook. Plus, parking is free and the WiFi is pretty fast. The coolest part is the game room on the first floor where you can play ping pong, pool, and basketball for free – someone was even playing the piano there! This place used to be a university dorm, and I think it's a really interesting and great value place to stay. Even if you don't have a car, public transportation is very convenient."

"The room was a bit compact. The king-size bed was made of two twin beds pushed together, and it was incredibly soft and comfortable. The sink was quite high, probably more suitable for someone over 1.8 meters tall. Overall, the hotel's style was simple yet elegant, and both the cleanliness and atmosphere were excellent."

"Great location in Ainslie, close to the city with easy parking. Rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. We were upgraded to an executive room, but it didn’t come with microwave or plates. We extended for another night and moved to regular room since it was already booked. The regular rooms had microwave and plates. Overall, a very pleasant stay."

"The location is super convenient, right in the city center with the bus station next door. There are no cooking facilities in the room, but they have a restaurant with a breakfast buffet and à la carte dinner. Public amenities include a pool and a sauna (though it was closed when I tried to use it in the evening). The service was friendly and helpful with any issues. Overall, it was great! 😍"

"Basic comfort provided, perfectly matched with the price with breakfast included. There was a nice selection of food, more sweet than salty, but still very satisfying. The room was a bit old but clean."
