"I must be honest here all the staff I met were excellent. From the guards to room service . They were very pleasant and friendly and I felt safe around them. The location was one of the main reasons for staying as both my parents graves are at Shahjalal mazar. The hotel was ok but could do with a refurb , the food quality in the Antalya restaurant needs much improvement especially due to the price they charge. Maybe consider making the menu smaller and improve the quality. The breakfast was very repetitive as I was there for 20 days. I think the swimming area lets in too many non residents which affected the enjoyment and restricted me from using it only a couple of times due to overcrowding. To be honest I would only stay there again if I heard there was a refurb . Will be back in November but not sure where I will stay. But I do miss the friendliness of the staff."

"Overall, it's a decent hotel with an excellent location right next to the airport. However, it definitely doesn't live up to the 5/4-star rating in the usual global understanding. The prices for additional services at the hotel are inexplicably exorbitant. At the restaurant: Breakfast was okay. The first time I ordered curry for lunch, I specifically asked for it to be mild – they brought a very spicy one and then stood there watching my reaction. When I complained, they brought another equally spicy curry as an apology. I gathered that the food isn't cooked to order but served from what's left over from the buffet dinner, so no modifications are possible. Juice and coffee by the pool were incredibly expensive by Bangladesh standards. I didn't go to the spa, but the prices there were like in New York. Why this would be the case when we're in Bangladesh is also unclear. But the staff was friendly, and they arranged airport transfer for us upon checkout."

"I stayed at Royal Mark Hotel, Sylhet with my wife from 26–27 August 2026, and overall, we had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is relatively new, having been in operation for about a year, and it still feels fresh and well-maintained. One of its biggest advantages is the location. Situated in the prime area of Nurboxtula, Sylhet, it offers easy access to restaurants, shopping, and other city conveniences. The hotel also has two of its own restaurants, and Chef's Table Station is located in the same building, so dining options are excellent. We stayed in Room 1304 on the 13th floor, a corner room that was provided exactly as I had requested. The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The king-size bed was spacious and offered a great night's sleep. The bathroom was also large, with modern fittings and all the essential amenities. There was a large TV, and the highlight was definitely the city view. Opening the curtains revealed a beautiful panoramic view of Sylhet, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only area that could be improved is the service. I felt that the hotel was slightly understaffed, and while the staff members were polite and helpful, they would benefit from additional training to provide a more refined and attentive guest experience. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. As with many new hotels, everything is currently in excellent condition, and I hope they continue to maintain these standards in the years ahead. Another big plus is the room rate, which I found to be very reasonable considering the hotel's location, facilities, and overall quality. I would definitely consider staying at Royal Mark Hotel again on my next visit to Sylhet."

The rooms were comfortable, well-maintained, and very clean. The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request. The location is convenient, making it easy to access nearby attractions and amenities. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect. However, really couldn’t differentiate between between a “honeymoon” suit vs regular in terms of how rooms are setup or special amenities being offered."
