"My experience was really bad. I arrived at the hotel around 1 PM on the 2nd, and was told my room wasn't ready and I'd have to wait. They didn't call me until after 3 PM to say I could check in. Throughout this, there was no mention of compensation for the delay beyond the standard check-in time. Only after I threatened to complain to Trip.com did the hotel offer an upgrade to an executive twin room. In the room, there was hair on the headboard and pillows, and the shower leaked, flooding under the sink and into the bathroom. All the towels in the room were wet and couldn't even dry anything, so I had to call the front desk for someone to mop it up. I later found out the shower curb was higher on the inside and lower on the outside, causing the water to flow out – something the hotel admitted was an engineering issue. The next day, I spoke to the front desk, and they offered to change my room. However, the new room had noticeable stains in the sink that hadn't been cleaned, a strange smell in the bathroom, and no lotion provided. Staying at this hotel felt like opening a blind box, never knowing what extra or missing items you'd get. The staff were genuinely nice and apologized immediately when issues arose, but new problems just kept popping up. It really doesn't feel like an international brand hotel."

"While on our way to Wuyuan, we chose to stay at the Wenlan Hotel Jiande Hangzhou (Xin'anjiang Branch) for two nights during our stopover in Jiande, Hangzhou. We were extremely satisfied and considered it an excellent value. Upon check-in, the front desk thoughtfully upgraded our city view room to a river view room for free. Standing on the balcony, the panoramic view of the Xin'an River was breathtaking and truly refreshing. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly detail-oriented, proactively offering guidance on local attractions and dining. Each day, they even thoughtfully provided fresh fruit and beverages. The room was clean and bright, with new equipment and fast internet. What was even more touching was that from the lobby to the guest rooms, every employee greeted us with a smile and was eager to assist. Breakfast was rich and varied, with a wide selection of Chinese and Western dishes, all of excellent quality. Overall, the value for money is exceptionally high. This is truly a hidden gem among quality hotels; their diligent, enthusiastic, and thoughtful service, combined with their standard operations, truly speaks for itself – they don't need praise, just satisfied guests. We really struck gold with this find, and we highly recommend it!"

"The most notable feature is that it's a guesthouse converted from a former temple dedicated to the God of Wealth, located right in the heart of the ancient city, about 200 meters from attractions like the city wall, Xin'an River Greenway, and Xiaoxi Lake. Opposite the hotel is the Yanzhou Ancient City Exhibition Hall, connected to a postal exhibition; the space isn't large, but it's quite well-designed. The room facilities are relatively new, but the windows are small, resulting in slightly poor lighting. Although the bustling Yanzhou Ancient City is right outside, the room is relatively quiet and not noisy. During the Spring Festival, the hotel doesn't provide breakfast; you can only eat steamed buns nearby, and milk has to be purchased from another guesthouse. The biggest problem is that traffic control measures are in place on some sections of the ancient city during the Spring Festival, making it difficult to get a taxi. Because of this, I almost missed visiting Qili Yangfan on my second day."

"The first time I came to Jiande, I was attracted by the Xin'an River scenery here, which was very charming. I chose Radisson Hotel ranking and the front desk lady was very enthusiastic and sent a small New Year gift to the children. The hotel is also very warm and provides water. The children ate two bowls in one breath. It turned out that the aunt hand-packed it was very warm. Jiande will come next time, breakfast is also very good"

"The environment and facilities were excellent, and the location was great too, right across from the Xin'an River. It was lovely to walk along the riverside path. We traveled by high-speed rail, and it was quite convenient, about a 30-minute taxi ride. The only issue was that the shower water temperature fluctuated, especially on the second night, it was quite noticeable. The breakfast was very good with a rich selection, including some local specialties. Overall, it was a pleasant stay."

There is a 1.8M large bed on each floor, two bathrooms, and a small tent and toys for children upstairs, which is also very considerate. The overall feeling is that the room is relatively large, which is just right for our family of three. There are chairs and tables outside the room, which is very friendly to men who smoke. Breakfast is on the M floor (B1 floor), and the category is not particularly rich. It would be more perfect if there were more varieties. "This trip to Meicheng Ancient Town in Jiande was a real gem! Yunqi Courtyard is located in the heart of Yanzhou Ancient City, right next to the ancient cobblestone street, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. The guesthouse is converted from an old house (a Qing Dynasty money exchange), preserving the charm of Jiangnan with its courtyard and blue brick walls, while the interior facilities are very modern, featuring smart toilets and five-star hotel-style bedding – a perfect blend of old and new. The service deserves special praise; the butler was warm and attentive, even offering complimentary Hanfu (traditional Han clothing) changing and DIY lacquer fan making. Taking photos in the courtyard in Hanfu felt like stepping back into the Song Dynasty. The biggest surprise was the ”Meicheng Old Dream” script-based role-playing game park – you receive a task pack upon check-in, unlocking the storyline while exploring the ancient town – so much more fun than a simple tour! The rooms have tatami tea rooms, perfect for brewing tea and gazing at Wulong Mountain. Although the old building lacks an elevator, the butler proactively helped with luggage, providing excellent service. A very good homestay away from the crowds yet near to railway station. .Rooms very spacious and with excellent pillows for a sound sleep. The homestay owners are really great. The husband took us to a place for breakfast . The wife is so kind and accommodating, considerate. After seeing our empty water bottles , she put extra bottles in the room. After our trip she would put the Aircon and lights on before we are back. Fruits and coffee available at the 3rd floor. What more can we say. If I can give marks for this homestay we will give more than the actual marks as they have done beyond our expectations. I will give 20/10 . Great and unforgetable stay indeed. I will surely recommend my friends to come and stay here for an unforgetable experience

Overall, very satisfied. Perfect for a short stay, very quiet. Facilities: It's a separate courtyard, the rooms are very clean and fully equipped. There's a large window facing the river, and the room also has a sound system, making it very comfortable to listen to music and relax. The weather was a bit chilly these past two days, so I didn't spend much time outdoors. Summer evenings would definitely be perfect for sitting in the courtyard. The owner said the guesthouse has been open for five years, and judging from the condition of the facilities, it must be well-maintained. The only drawback is that the door isn't very airtight, letting in a little draft and making it slightly chilly, but it's not a big problem with the air conditioning on. Service: The owner came down to greet me upon arrival and gave a brief introduction to the river view in front of the room. The breakfast on the second day was also plentiful and could be delivered to the room to eat by the window. I didn't take many pictures, but it included porridge, tofu buns, sweet potato, corn, fermented bean curd, etc. In the evening, when it was difficult to get a taxi to the area near the ancient town, the owner even drove me there. They also thoughtfully provided directions for our trip to Wulong Mountain the next day. Environment: The river embankment in front is perfect for a walk with beautiful scenery. There's also a delicious mochi shop nearby.

Temporary room, I didn't expect to exceed expectations! The first night of the tree house, the children were very excited, and the facilities in the room were very complete. The second night I changed the parent-child room, and the boss also upgraded the room type for free. 👍👍👍 was very angry. The location of the homestay is also very good, just at the high-speed exit, because I am afraid that the scenic spot is too noisy, so I specially chose outside the scenic spot. It is also very close to the ancient town of Meicheng, ten minutes. The key is that the boss also cooked a good dish, the amount is large and affordable, and it feels the same as in his own home. Escaping the hustle and bustle of the city, my husband and I chose this courtyard guesthouse for our night's stay. We had spent the afternoon exploring Jiande city and didn't arrive until after 10 PM. The guesthouse staff were incredibly welcoming, greeting us warmly at the door and quickly checking us in. We were too tired to properly appreciate the scenery the night before, and waking up to this place was exactly the kind of life I've always dreamed of. The restaurant was unique, the ambiance was fantastic, and the guesthouse staff's breakfast was delicious! The service was attentive and warm. If I ever need to escape the city again, I'll definitely choose this place again. Personally, I think it was absolutely wonderful! 👍

I checked out the newly opened Home Inn Xin'anjiang Riverside Hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The hotel environment was brand new and clean, the room facilities were complete, and the stay was comfortable. Just in time for the Dragon Boat Festival, the hotel offered a special handmade sachet-making activity, creating a wonderful atmosphere with a strong traditional charm. The hotel is right next to the Xin'anjiang River, making for a pleasant stroll along the river after dinner. The surrounding area has excellent shopping and dining options, making daily life and travel very convenient. It's also not far from Yanzhou Ancient City, allowing you to explore the ancient streets, experience its historical charm, and enjoy Dragon Boat Festival folk activities. With its excellent location and attentive service, this is an excellent choice for both leisure travel and short-term stays. Highly recommended!

The environment is absolutely top-notch, and the staff are very enthusiastic. The food at the restaurant was also delicious, and breakfast was great. The kids said they want to go again next time! Quack Quack Land (Gua Gua Leyuan) was fun, and we also played in the stream and caught fish. The complimentary coffee set was a nice touch.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It is incredibly new with amazing facilities. Although it is an hour drive to the main attractions of the Qiandao Lake, it is an incredibly scenic drive - and the hotel is amazing for the price. Elaine provided us excellent service at the counter and will take care of all your needs! We look forward to staying here again in the near future!

Very intimate hotel, full praise ❤️ I learned that I was very happy to upgrade the room type for my birthday. Turn on the air conditioner before check-in and arrange meticulously. Lying in the room, you can see the pool river view, and the hot weather is not afraid. The housekeeper sisters are very young but very thoughtful and patient ❤️ Any demand is responsive throughout the process, First came to Jiande, leaving a good impression. It would be better if the room could be dryer. The afternoon tea and barbecue presented by the hotel are also river views. Perfect for blues moments at sunset. It is recommended to hike the seven-li sail section of Xin'an Greenway around the hotel. The treasure route of summer shade, ten kilometers walk is full.

When we arrived, the exterior did not quite match the pictures online, but once inside, we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was spacious and clean and very well kept. Xiao Jiang and the staff on the front desk were patient and extremely helpful. They were sure to escort me to my room and check in on me to see if I needed anything. The room was lovely. Very comfortable main bed and a stunning view. The shower was modern and spacious, and the projector screen TV was a nice touch. We were given soft drinks and fruit. Which was also a welcome touch. The second bed was quite hard - the mattress wasn't really a mattress, so sleeping was somewhat uncomfortable. Breakfast was delicious and varied. It was mainly Chinese with a few Western choices, too. The pool was a little disappointing. Not quite full and a little dirty, so we didn't go. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
