"My experience was really bad. I arrived at the hotel around 1 PM on the 2nd, and was told my room wasn't ready and I'd have to wait. They didn't call me until after 3 PM to say I could check in. Throughout this, there was no mention of compensation for the delay beyond the standard check-in time. Only after I threatened to complain to Trip.com did the hotel offer an upgrade to an executive twin room. In the room, there was hair on the headboard and pillows, and the shower leaked, flooding under the sink and into the bathroom. All the towels in the room were wet and couldn't even dry anything, so I had to call the front desk for someone to mop it up. I later found out the shower curb was higher on the inside and lower on the outside, causing the water to flow out – something the hotel admitted was an engineering issue. The next day, I spoke to the front desk, and they offered to change my room. However, the new room had noticeable stains in the sink that hadn't been cleaned, a strange smell in the bathroom, and no lotion provided. Staying at this hotel felt like opening a blind box, never knowing what extra or missing items you'd get. The staff were genuinely nice and apologized immediately when issues arose, but new problems just kept popping up. It really doesn't feel like an international brand hotel."

"While on our way to Wuyuan, we chose to stay at the Wenlan Hotel Jiande Hangzhou (Xin'anjiang Branch) for two nights during our stopover in Jiande, Hangzhou. We were extremely satisfied and considered it an excellent value. Upon check-in, the front desk thoughtfully upgraded our city view room to a river view room for free. Standing on the balcony, the panoramic view of the Xin'an River was breathtaking and truly refreshing. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly detail-oriented, proactively offering guidance on local attractions and dining. Each day, they even thoughtfully provided fresh fruit and beverages. The room was clean and bright, with new equipment and fast internet. What was even more touching was that from the lobby to the guest rooms, every employee greeted us with a smile and was eager to assist. Breakfast was rich and varied, with a wide selection of Chinese and Western dishes, all of excellent quality. Overall, the value for money is exceptionally high. This is truly a hidden gem among quality hotels; their diligent, enthusiastic, and thoughtful service, combined with their standard operations, truly speaks for itself – they don't need praise, just satisfied guests. We really struck gold with this find, and we highly recommend it!"

"The parking was a bit tricky to find (you have to drive over a bridge to get in, and at first, I was hesitant to cross it and couldn't find the entrance at all 😂). Overall, the environment is lovely and very antique. The hygiene was also acceptable. The breakfast selection was quite limited, and once an item ran out, it wasn't refilled. Several room facilities need improvement: 1. The security chain screw on room 3306's door is loose (if it comes undone, the door won't close properly). 2. The bathroom doorknob is loose. 3. The bedside lamp switch on the toilet side is loose. I hope these points can be improved (and that every room is checked)."

"The most notable feature is that it's a guesthouse converted from a former temple dedicated to the God of Wealth, located right in the heart of the ancient city, about 200 meters from attractions like the city wall, Xin'an River Greenway, and Xiaoxi Lake. Opposite the hotel is the Yanzhou Ancient City Exhibition Hall, connected to a postal exhibition; the space isn't large, but it's quite well-designed. The room facilities are relatively new, but the windows are small, resulting in slightly poor lighting. Although the bustling Yanzhou Ancient City is right outside, the room is relatively quiet and not noisy. During the Spring Festival, the hotel doesn't provide breakfast; you can only eat steamed buns nearby, and milk has to be purchased from another guesthouse. The biggest problem is that traffic control measures are in place on some sections of the ancient city during the Spring Festival, making it difficult to get a taxi. Because of this, I almost missed visiting Qili Yangfan on my second day."

"The hotel is beautiful, and the room's floor-to-ceiling windows facing the sun provide excellent natural light. You can sit by the window and enjoy the sun around noon. Ordering takeout is also very convenient, as a robot can deliver it directly to your room. On the day we checked in, the sun was lovely, and we wanted to stroll by the river. The front desk staff patiently and carefully helped us with directions. It's very easy to get from the hotel to the river; you can go directly via the underground parking garage. It was a very satisfying stay."

However, those with high expectations for hotel facilities will be disappointed; it's quite different from hotels like IHG and Marriott."

"Traveling with my family, the hotel facilities were great, especially the outdoor pool which I imagine would be lovely in the summer. Overall, it was clean, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. We even got a room upgrade! The hotel breakfast was plentiful, with options like tofu buns and meat buns. The location is excellent; the hotel and its surroundings have a charming, antique architectural design. The Meicheng Market Street is just a short walk away, which was super convenient. It’s a perfect hotel for exploring the local area."

For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.
"The hotel is very close to the ancient city of Yanzhou, and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to it at most.
It is nice to take a walk along the river after dinner, and you can also watch performances in the ancient city.
Facilities: I booked a parent-child LOFT room. There is a 1.8M large bed on each floor, two bathrooms, and a small tent and toys for children upstairs, which is also very considerate.
The overall feeling is that the room is relatively large, which is just right for our family of three. There are chairs and tables outside the room, which is very friendly to men who smoke.
Breakfast is on the M floor (B1 floor), and the category is not particularly rich. It would be more perfect if there were more varieties. At the same time, there is a swimming pool and a small playground for children to play on this floor, as well as a children's reading area. At the same time, the hotel also provided us with a welcome meal, which can be used for dinner or lunch during the stay.

"Hotel location is good, 5 minutes walk from the ancient town, but the overall general, there are some scenes in the public area that can be photographed, but the light is not good, there is a place that does not find a place to turn on the light. I specially booked a room with a separate yard, marked 60 square meters, but it should not be there. It feels a bit cramped. The facilities are very general. There are few sockets. There is no socket in the water bar. The first time I encountered it. The bathroom is also very small. A very good homestay away from the crowds yet near to railway station. .Rooms very spacious and with excellent pillows for a sound sleep. The homestay owners are really great. The husband took us to a place for breakfast . The wife is so kind and accommodating, considerate. After seeing our empty water bottles , she put extra bottles in the room. After our trip she would put the Aircon and lights on before we are back. Fruits and coffee available at the 3rd floor. What more can we say. If I can give marks for this homestay we will give more than the actual marks as they have done beyond our expectations. I will give 20/10 . Great and unforgetable stay indeed. I will surely recommend my friends to come and stay here for an unforgetable experience

Facilities: It's a separate courtyard, the rooms are very clean and fully equipped. There's a large window facing the river, and the room also has a sound system, making it very comfortable to listen to music and relax. The weather was a bit chilly these past two days, so I didn't spend much time outdoors. Summer evenings would definitely be perfect for sitting in the courtyard. The owner said the guesthouse has been open for five years, and judging from the condition of the facilities, it must be well-maintained. The only drawback is that the door isn't very airtight, letting in a little draft and making it slightly chilly, but it's not a big problem with the air conditioning on.
Service: The owner came down to greet me upon arrival and gave a brief introduction to the river view in front of the room. The breakfast on the second day was also plentiful and could be delivered to the room to eat by the window. I didn't take many pictures, but it included porridge, tofu buns, sweet potato, corn, fermented bean curd, etc. In the evening, when it was difficult to get a taxi to the area near the ancient town, the owner even drove me there. They also thoughtfully provided directions for our trip to Wulong Mountain the next day.
Environment: The river embankment in front is perfect for a walk with beautiful scenery. There's also a delicious mochi shop nearby.

We had an amazing stay at this charming cabin! The host and their family were incredibly accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They were sweet and welcoming, and it genuinely felt like we were staying with friends we’ve known for years.
The cabin itself was clean, new, and beautifully maintained. Our son had a wonderful time playing with their son, which added to the friendly atmosphere. The family also provided great recommendations for things to do around town, enhancing our experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food, which was wonderfully organic and sourced from their garden. The only minor note was that the swimming pool was a bit cold, but we totally understand that it was the first swim of the season!
Overall, we loved our stay and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a welcoming getaway!

Guest UserCheck in the newly opened Home Inn Xin'anjiang Riverside Store, the overall experience is particularly pleasant. The hotel environment is brand new and clean, the rooms are fully equipped and comfortable. It coincides with the Dragon Boat Festival, the store specially launched a handmade sachet production activity, and the atmosphere of the sachet is full of traditional charm. The hotel is close to Xin'an River. It is very pleasant to walk along the river after dinner. The surrounding supermarkets and dining facilities are perfect, and life and travel are very convenient. It is not far from the ancient city of Yanzhou, and it complements the ancient streets, ancient charms and Dragon Boat Festival folk activities. The location is excellent, the service is intimate and thoughtful, whether it is a leisure trip or a short trip, here is a great choice, really recommend!

A friend recommended this B&B and said it was very good. My kids were about to start school, so I brought them here to play. After we booked the room, the B&B kindly sent us a detailed check-in guide, a guide to the surrounding areas, and local food recommendations. Because we were traveling with kids, they were also very considerate and provided us with slippers and toothbrushes for the kids. When we encountered any problems, the messages were replied immediately. In the evening, we went to the barbecue restaurant recommended by the B&B for a midnight snack. There were many dishes. It was very pleasant to eat barbecue with my family by the river while enjoying the evening breeze. The next morning, I woke up and opened the curtains. The unbeatable river view was right in front of me, and my mood instantly brightened. The B&B also has bicycles to ride. After breakfast in the morning, I took a stroll around the river. I felt refreshed. Before leaving, the store manager gave us souvenirs and a lacquer fan-making experience. The kids had a lot of fun. I will definitely come again next time!

The hotel is beautiful. My room had a great view. It's quiet and serene. The staff speaks English and they are very polite and very helpful!
The hotels has 2 restaurants and neither of them serves food all day. There is no restaurant nearby. So if you arrive hungry then you stay hungry. The TV in the room has terrible sound, as If TV speakers are removed on purpose. The rooms don't have sound insulation may be that's why TV's speakers have been removed.

sjqsnqjFantastic experience! The butler was incredibly attentive, providing detailed and thoughtful reminders for everything from check-in to check-out. The cabin's balcony directly overlooks the lake and mountains, offering a super healing vista of lush greenery. The restaurant's food was fresh and delicious. The resort grounds are serene and quiet, and the evening breeze through the woods was delightful. The entire stay was hassle-free and comfortable – a perfect getaway for a short break.

When we arrived, the exterior did not quite match the pictures online, but once inside, we were pleasantly surprised.
The hotel was spacious and clean and very well kept.
Xiao Jiang and the staff on the front desk were patient and extremely helpful. They were sure to escort me to my room and check in on me to see if I needed anything.
The room was lovely. Very comfortable main bed and a stunning view. The shower was modern and spacious, and the projector screen TV was a nice touch.
We were given soft drinks and fruit. Which was also a welcome touch.
The second bed was quite hard - the mattress wasn't really a mattress, so sleeping was somewhat uncomfortable.
Breakfast was delicious and varied. It was mainly Chinese with a few Western choices, too.
The pool was a little disappointing. Not quite full and a little dirty, so we didn't go.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
