"The room was quite clean, and I really enjoyed the breakfast – the wontons were delicious! The food at the tourist attractions was universally bad. The 'Fugui Xiaojiangnan' (I think that's what it was called) that the front desk recommended was terrible. And all those highly-rated local restaurants online, like 'Tianxia Diyimian' (First Noodle Under Heaven) – oh my god, they were awful, I have no idea how they got their scores. The only meal I actually enjoyed was the hotel breakfast. Five stars for the staff, they were all very enthusiastic and helpful! 👍 The public facilities, though, were pretty mediocre. Not even as good as an Orange Hotel."

"I brought my elderly parents to Xitang for Women's Day, and a friend recommended this hotel inside the scenic area. It truly has a beautiful Chinese garden design, with winding paths that create a wonderful sense of seclusion. We stayed in a balcony room, which even had a swing chair. It was incredibly pleasant to swing and chat with my family as the sun set. The room's wet/dry separation design was very practical, and the room service was exceptionally attentive. It was also very convenient to walk into the core scenic area. We had a panoramic view of Xitang bathed in sunshine and later, illuminated by fishing boats and lights. Watching people in traditional Hanfu attire wander through the scenic area felt like traveling a thousand years back in time, perfectly embodying the creative concept behind the 'Guangnian' (Lightyear) Hotel name!"

"Traveled with my child for two days during the May Day holiday. This hotel offers great value for money, with all dining, entertainment, and activities available on-site. The best part was the parent-child activities, which were a real lifesaver for families with kids, freeing up our hands completely! Most of these activities wrapped up before 4 PM, so I'd suggest adding some options for after 4 PM to make it even more perfect. The service was also excellent. Upon check-in, I added Front Office Manager Shi Liu on WeChat. She provided one-on-one assistance for our 3-day, 2-night stay, helping me arrange activities and book meals – everything was handled perfectly! The main thing is that my little one had a blast, and we'll definitely be back. The hotel is close to Jiashan South Station and there's a 'Jiashan Yueli' nearby with lovely night views. The room was spacious and very new; we booked a themed room this time, and my child absolutely loved it. We'll return again if we get the chance. Highly recommended! [Strong]"

"The weather was cold and snowy, but the hotel service was incredibly warm, definitely a plus. I received a call from Ms. Yin, the customer service representative, even before arriving at the hotel. Ms. Wang, who handled check-in, was patient and attentive throughout, providing detailed information about breakfast times and answering all my questions. The room was clean and tidy, and there were five complimentary bottles of mineral water. Although there were a few minor flaws, Manager Dai handled them very well, and I was very satisfied. I will definitely stay here again. Furthermore, the hotel is located in the city center with complete surrounding facilities, beautiful night views, a large and convenient parking lot, and delicious breakfast."

"On a weekend trip, I booked the Muyue Hotel, which is close to Xitang Ancient Town. Although it's not a large hotel, it's clean, elegant, and the service is warm and attentive. The lake-view room offered a truly delightful sight and is highly recommended. Also, the lady at the front desk was very helpful and thoughtful; she can assist guests in accessing the ancient town's South Gate directly through the hotel's side entrance. From there, you can enjoy the江南 (Jiangnan) style garden and lake views all the way to the main scenic area, the Yanyu Corridor. It’s perfect for a leisurely stroll to take in the sights and colors of Xitang Ancient Town. I highly recommend staying at Muyue Hotel."

Kkinoko***November 2025 Stay Experience*** I received a call immediately after booking to confirm my arrival time and arrange ticket purchases (discounts available, free for seniors over 70). A friendly staff member picked me up and helped with my luggage; they responded promptly to any questions. Regarding the environment, I really loved the courtyard and cabins. Sitting in the courtyard watching the swaying trees and listening to the wind and birdsong was the epitome of idyllic living. However, the reality is that there are mosquitoes, and it gets quite chilly in late autumn and early winter. The duplex layout was a highlight when I chose the room, but I wouldn't recommend it for older people. Getting up at night requires climbing stairs to the first floor, which isn't very safe. The bathroom doesn't have a door, so water splashes onto the sink area. There's no absorbent mat either; I suggest improvements. Also, the air conditioner is extremely noisy, but when it's off, it's very cold and damp, and the blankets feel damp. The staff member mentioned that the noise seems particularly loud when it's quiet here. I explained the situation to the young lady, and she changed my room to ”West Window Dream” for the second night. Although the atmosphere and design were slightly inferior, the standing air conditioner was powerful, and she even added a blanket and an electric blanket, which satisfied my comfort needs! GGuest UserA fantastic staycation experience. The facilities were impeccable, both in terms of amenities and service. The gym, while compact, was surprisingly well-equipped, and even during peak hours, it wasn't overly crowded, making for a pleasant workout. Overall cleanliness was excellent. I noticed a slight stain on a pillow which was promptly replaced. Later, I accidentally spilled a blueberry drink late at night, and the staff were incredibly responsive in cleaning it up – a major plus! The surroundings were breathtaking, brimming with exquisite design. The central courtyard's pond and pavilion exuded a beautiful traditional Chinese aesthetic. The service was enthusiastic yet discreet, striking the perfect balance throughout our stay. I would definitely love to visit again!

YYueyoumanxingOverall, I was quite satisfied with my stay, but there were a few minor complaints. When I first checked in, the hotel staff enthusiastically greeted me with ticket purchases, carried my luggage, and even offered to take it to the third floor. Later, I discovered there was no elevator, so I had to fend for myself when I checked out. Although I encountered some issues with my tickets during my stay, the hotel responded quickly and helped resolve them. The hotel is in a great location, convenient to key attractions! I have to highly praise the housekeeping staff and the noodle cook in the breakfast room; their service was truly excellent! There are two main complaints: First, the cabinets in some rooms are not child-friendly, making it easy for young children to bump their heads. The bedside lamps are too low, and I hit my head three or four times. While not excruciatingly painful, it was still quite painful. Second, the front desk staff was very negative about the hotel's intangible cultural heritage experience program. They even said, ”I don't want to go” in front of guests. It was truly unbelievable. After two staff members evaded the question for a long time, the guy on duty finally came to take us. He was very dedicated and responsible, and I am very grateful to him. However, our experience was still delayed due to the waiter's evasion and reluctance to guide us, especially when we needed to rush to our next destination. This made us wait for a long time each time. This really makes me feel that the hotel management is substandard! In particular, can you please not say this in front of guests? It made me feel embarrassed!

I loved the floor-to-ceiling windows next to the bed. The scenery outside the window was also very beautiful. Free pick-up or drop-off at Xitang Scenic Area Station: the store manager specially drove to pick us up, and also gave us a fruit plate when we arrived at the hotel. The reception service was very warm! ps: His home is only 80 meters away from the entrance of the scenic spot. It is very convenient to enter and exit the scenic spot. Because you can enter and exit the scenic spot at will by swiping your face within 24 hours, you can sleep in late the next day and rush to the entrance of the scenic spot for the last time.

GGuest UserFinally, I stayed here on my own. I'd always booked for clients before, but this time, I brought a friend along to experience a river-view room in the heart of Xitang. It was worth the trip. We also saw the flower boats. There weren't many, only six, but they were perfect for the setting. Interlude: I asked the landlady to borrow two beautiful fire goblets, and then my friend dropped them on the floor. The first thing the landlady asked was if we had any scratches, and she didn't ask for compensation.

JJoyMoonStayed here for 3d2n on March 9 2025! The hotel staff was really friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is in Xitang which is a tourist area so come in after 5pm and the entrance fee is free! The hotel staff was really friendly as we left a note letting them know that my partner is a professional photographer so we booked a room with a balcony to take pictures. Before we checked-in, the owner offered to bring us to another hotel he owns in the area to see if liked the views there better but we still chose to stay in Manjuelong. The rooms are quite spacious and the hotel was quite quiet at the time. The hotel is situated inside a tourist area which was quite convenient for us to walk around and explore! If we go back to Jiaxing again, we will consider staying here again!
