"The hardware facilities and services of Shaoshan Hotel are very good, it is relatively quiet, and the rooms are large in size. Especially it is the closest to Shaoshan Scenic Area. The former residence and bronze statue of the great leader Chairman Mao are right in front of you! It just so happened that the children were on vacation and we specially brought the educational significance of red tourism. The service worth mentioning was an unexpected surprise. Extra points. Miss No. 263 received a five-star rating. She was enthusiastic, professional and courteous! It is more reliable and convenient to stay in this kind of state hotel when traveling. "This time I was satisfied with the homestay where Chairman Mao lived. I booked it on Ctrip. The owner called in advance to inquire about the arrival time. I took the high-speed rail to Shaoshan South Station and the owner picked me up in person. The room was clean and tidy. I had three meals in the store. I ate Mao's braised pork. The homestay was not far from the scenic spots. The distance was just right. The square memorial hall was not far away. I was satisfied with this trip."

"Stayed in a room in the main building. The hotel is in a good location, close to South Railway Station and not far from Shaoshan. The hotel facilities are good and the layout is very charming. The waiters were all friendly and the service was attentive. What impressed me most was the enthusiasm and thoughtfulness of Manager Li Xiu.
The food in the restaurant is delicious and the prices are relatively affordable, especially the restaurant on the second floor. The hotel is equipped with a swimming pool, which can satisfy those who like swimming and stay near Shaoshan. There is a gift shop downstairs for convenient shopping.
The disadvantage is that the hotel does not have a washing machine, which is still a traditional hotel practice. There are also no laundry bags for dirty clothes, but rudimentary plastic bags are provided."

GGuest UserThe room was very clean, and the air was exceptionally fresh, making for a pleasant morning run. The landlady kindly picked us up from the station, which was very convenient. It's best to drive here, as it's about a 15-minute walk to Chairman Mao's former residence. We found it very pleasant to walk in spring, but for those who don't want to walk, taking a taxi isn't very convenient. The atmosphere in the scenic area is wonderful, and the water is all spring water. Next time I come, I'll definitely go hiking and stay for a few more days.

GGuest UserThis is a very typical rural B&B, with a restaurant on the first floor and guest rooms on the second and third floors. The B&B is located in a village at the entrance of the scenic spot. Parking is allowed and pets are allowed. It is about 500 meters away from the former residence of the elders and the Bronze Statue Square. The owner's service is warm and the room is clean. The facilities are simple and outdated. The bathroom did not provide bath towels and there was no shower. The bedding may be too basic and make a twitching sound when you turn over. In Shaoshan in March, the temperature at night was very low, so I needed to turn on the air conditioner, but the sound from the outdoor air conditioner was loud, like a tractor. When I turned off the air conditioner, the same sound came from the outdoor air conditioners in other rooms, and the quilt was a little thin. Great choice for light sleepers. It’s okay to just pass by on a self-driving tour and stay overnight.
