"As always I'll rate the hotel I stayed at relative to the cost incurred. So is it value for money? Location : The location could not be bettered. It is the closest hotel to the Mati Grottoes. Maybe a 500m walk away. Service : Very good, very friendly ! Welcoming and efficient on arrival. Took food orders for delivery at lunch and dinner (which helped a lot as in Winter all the restaurants in the village were closed)! And also helped me buy snacks in the afternoon (as the usual stores in the village were closed during Winter). Bedroom : Basic however with 2 beds (comfortable and clean) and a I really liked the sunny alcove with two seats and a table, to sit and drink tea/coffee (bring your own!). Bathroom : small but most importantly hot water and plenty of it ! The toilet is Western style not a squat (phew - good for my old knees!) Breakfast : was provided but as I don't often eat breakfast I can't comment further. You shouldn't expect a 5 star hotel, it's a basic Chinese hotel so don't get expectations up, however it is great value for money, clean and has everything you'd need for a short stay. I would definitely stay here again !"

There is a fast food restaurant open, which is still during the National Day. It is estimated that there are more day trips to Horseshoe Temple by tour groups. To add, the autumn scenery of Horseshoe Temple Scenic Area is still very good and worth a visit. The road to Dadu Ma Village is even better, and you must go here."
