"The location is great, very central and the paid parking garage is very close by. Even though we had booked with parking, parking apparently was full. The hotel as such is pleasant but outdated and needs a refurbishing. The door between hotel room and aisle is not insulating at all so you can hear any conversation outside. Beds are not great but ok. What we did like was the ability to drop off our luggage at the storage room."

"It's about a 10-minute walk from the train station and about a 10-minute walk from Little Venice. When I first arrived, I thought I had booked a room too far from Little Venice! But when I entered the tourist area, I found that it was all cobblestone roads, and it might be troublesome to drag luggage. I was glad that I booked a room near the station, with flat roads, easy to pull luggage, and a flat elevator, so I didn't have to carry luggage... Breakfast is 13 euros per person, I personally think the cost-effectiveness is low, I suggest eating breakfast outside (the price is similar and richer) For solo travelers, this hotel is worth booking, it's very convenient to move alone... You can also rent a car from Avis at the train station and drive to the suburbs, and parking at the hotel entrance is free! Great 👍 As for the room, it's the same as the photo. I live in the top floor room, which really has angled windows and is very retro... In terms of price, it should be considered a hotel with a high cost-effectiveness in Colmar! Recommended 👍"

"Lovely room on the third floor, which we think had just been refurbished. It looks as though there is a refurbishment programme ongoing as you could see new mattresses and furniture on each floor when using the stairs, so the top floor had already been completed. The only issue we had was with the air-con as the room was a little warm. Breakfast also wasn't especially palatable, so wouldn't bother with that again as there are lots of lovely patisseries close by (including one next door to the hotel). Great location and you can park for free on the surrounding streets between 7pm & 9am."

"Staying here for two days is definitely the best choice! Right at the entrance of Little Venice, a very beautiful hotel, decorated in a very French style, romantic and warm, with a very good location. You can see the beautiful scenery of the small bridges and flowing water in Little Venice from the window. During the day, there are many tourists on the bridges, and in the early morning and evening, it is quiet like another world. In the morning, stand by the window with a cup of coffee and enjoy the humid and fresh air of Colmar. In the evening, when the crowds retreat, a glass of Alsace Riesling can sweep away the fatigue of the day! At noon, it is even easier. Downstairs are the two most beautiful restaurants in Colmar. Eating a delicious big elbow with a glass of Burgundy wine in the sun or in the rain can make people feel lazy and soft.• Next to the small square outside is the ”Chinese restaurant” where **, Shu Qi, and Su Youpeng filmed, but now it has been changed to another French restaurant."

"Odalys City Colmar la Rose d'Argent Address: 15, avenue d’Alsace, Colmar, 68000, France Phone: +33-389-207538 Rating: 4.5 Location: Situated on the edge of Colmar's Old Town, you just cross the street from the hotel and walk straight to reach it. It's about a 12-minute walk to Colmar's 'Little Venice'. The hotel lobby takes up very little space, and public areas are limited, but there is a free indoor swimming pool. The rooms are spacious, with a kitchenette and a sofa bed in the living room. The sofa bed had already been made up for us upon arrival. I booked two identical balcony rooms, but they were on different floors. Mine was a one-bedroom apartment with a balcony on the ground floor. This 'balcony' was merely an open space facing the parking lot with no privacy whatsoever. Compared to the other room upstairs, which had a spacious balcony, the value for money was significantly better for that one. The shower in the ground-floor room had no glass partition, only a shower curtain. The curtain easily sticks to you while showering, and if it's not kept entirely within the small tub, the whole bathroom floods. The kitchenette is quite useful; although the induction hob isn't suitable for stir-frying, it's perfectly fine for simple cooking. Pros: Close to the Old Town and quiet, with a kitchenette. Cons: Difficult-to-find parking. The hotel's main entrance is at a street intersection, surrounded by many complex, narrow roads, some of which are restricted. We drove around the hotel three times without finding the parking lot. In the end, a friend had to get the parking code from the front desk and guide us in. The parking is located behind the hotel, but the address on the website is only for the main entrance. Driving to the main entrance doesn't allow for parking, as the parking lot is in a completely different location. If the hotel had provided the exact parking address, we wouldn't have driven in circles. Parking is also quite expensive at 13 euros per day. I booked a balcony room, but the ground-floor one was a 'fake' balcony, offering poor value for the same price. It would be much better if they used flowers or other decorations to screen off the balcony from the parking lot, creating a sense of separation. The shower in the ground-floor room did not match the online photos; there was no glass shower enclosure, unlike the room on the second floor. This makes the ground-floor room seem very poor value."

"The hotel is very unique and the location is very convenient. There is everything when you go out, but parking is so hard! There is no parking lot. It is too difficult to find a parking lot nearby. The room is super small and the bed is so small that you can't turn over. The view outside the window is pretty good."

"The room was small, smaller than expected, but the shower had plenty of hot water. There were no supermarkets nearby, and the location was quite remote, so you had to drive out to buy things. There was no refrigerator, but it wasn't a problem for a one-night stay. It's very close to Colmar, just a 10-minute drive away."
