"Most importantly: security issues! This morning, a strange man entered our room, as if by mistake; we don't know how he opened the door! There are no glasses, kettle, slippers, or napkins in the room. I had a cold and needed hot water for my medication. One staff member was fine; he told me to fill it up from the coffee machine. Then, another night, another staff member rushed up to me and said that water wasn't allowed and that it was only for breakfast. The breakfasts were okay, typical for a small hotel."

"New Hotel. The Spa area is so small that you actually need to book it well in advance if you are planning to use it.. As most likely the slot which you would like is already taken. It's charged per hour... Overnight parking is €19. Very irritating is the shower in the bathroom as the water goes between too hot and too cold on its own pattern and you can't control it.. Typical for the buildings with the plumbing issues, or the water pressure.."

"The administrator was very nice. He immediately changed our room as soon as he found out that the main lighting in our room wasn't working. Instead of a room with an unappealing view, he gave us one overlooking a beautiful church. We were pleased. The hot water was indeed hot. However, there was no hairdryer, and water dripped from the pipe under the sink, so we had to place a trash can underneath it. The room was quite spacious. There were enough power outlets, and while there wasn't a traditional wardrobe, there were plenty of hangers. The towels and bed linen smelled pleasant, and the bed was comfortable. Attractions were a leisurely 15-minute walk away. We only stayed for one night, but overall, I could easily have stayed there for several days. Of course, that's not possible in every hotel."

"This was one of the cities on our trip to France. The hotel had a wonderful location, a comfortable room, and was clean. The deposit couldn't be paid in cash, only by card."

"The hotel is very close to the station, but not too central to the historical area. The historic lift is very beautiful, though somewhat small, and since it is a very old building there are changes of height on the floor that make it a little uncomfortable."

"I like stories written in lobbies, corridors, and rooms! The hotel has nice and essential amenities. The location is excellent in the city center close to restaurants and almost all points of interest. Breakfast is ok, but a little expensive. There are no slippers or carpets in the room and this is a little disappointing in the cold season."

"Good location near train station in Rouen. Love the hotel which is just next to the Rouen Tower, historical site. Love the sweets and candies and the fruits infused wster which is complimentary. Not forgetting the apples too. Front desk staff are friendly and very helpful."

"If you can't find other more distinctive hotels, you can consider this international chain. It's a bit old, but it has everything you need. It's also very convenient in the city center. There is also a parking lot with reasonable fees."

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Mercure hotel in Rouen. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city and its main attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and everything felt well maintained. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety of options. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would happily stay here again and recommend this hotel to others."

"Nice location which close to a lot of signature sightseeing places, such as Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Rouen, Historial Jeanne d’Arc, Le Gros Horloge, Opéra de Rouen Haute-Normandie - Théâtre des Arts Opéra Orchestre Normandie Rouen, Église Sainte-Jeanne-d'Arc de Rouen, etc. Accommodating with kitchen and microwave which absolutely good for those family who like to have their own seafood party, you can easily buy your own seafood from Poissonnerie Villard - Le Littoral, or Poissonnerie Saint-Marc, etc. Staffs are kind and friendly, the aparthotel provides replacement of garbage bags and toilet papers, just asked at their reception desk. It definitely a good and memorable stay in Rouen."
