"The hotel is good for a budget stay beside the M1 and has an ideal location. Ensure you witness the staff inputting your registration plate to avoid parking fines. The interior is very tired and could do with a significant update. The bed was comfortable however."

"Friendly and helpful front desk staff who provided tourism ideas on check-in as they weren’t busy. Room had been recently renovated such that there were two outlets on the desk with 1 embedded USB A socket and 1 embedded USB C socket. Ironing board sighted on the wardrobe unit in case visiting for business. Power socket by headboards as well so devices can be charged overnight as well. Desk was decent size so if you needed to do some work, laptop can be opened to work. Slightly thinner desk (ie, not super deep) though so less suitable for work-cation if you need to work from your room the whole day. Small gym in the basement. Would stay again for the convenience of being within walking distance of the station and friendly, helpful staff."

"My friend and I booked this hotel for one night's stay with breakfast included. Travelling down from Yorkshire, we had tickets for the Women’s Rugby World Cup to watch England and Delta's location was convenient for Northampton's Cinch Stadium. We've not stayed at this particular Marriott establishment before but the price was reasonable and the reviews appeared positive. We cannot fault the place; it was absolutely perfect! The staff were all so welcoming, especially the gentleman on reception. Friendly, pleasant, helpful and engaging, offering advice and information on the surrounding areas; nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was spotlessly clean and that included our spacious twin room. Fittings and furnishings were of a very good standard and the beds were extremely comfortable. There's a nice ambience and our short stay was very relaxed and peaceful. We had breakfast on site, at the Cast Iron Grill and it was delicious with so much variety. There's also the ”Grab and Go” food station, in the lobby with snacks and drinks available 24/7. Despite the hotel being near the M1, the surrounding area is beautiful and picturesque, surrounded by fields with a nearby lake; it's ideal for a leisurely walk. There's also ample car parking on site, which is complimentary. Overall, an excellent experience and we highly recommend this hotel. Thank you."

"£80 for two adults is reasonable, but it's a bit pricey for a single adult. First of all, it's quite far from the center of Northampton, so the location is poor. It's also hard to find. There's nothing nearby. The good thing about it is that the room is clean. If you're coming by car, there's parking, so it's fine."

"It was great stay this hotel. As we coming in the hotel we had a great welcome from the receptionist Kate. She was so lovely and welcoming. The breakfast was very good overall we had a great experience as it was our first time staying at Holiday Inn Express. Thank you. We will definitely book again in the future."
