"Upon checking in we went to our room and had no lights working I went to reception and the amazing staff put me in another room straight away thanks guys"

"Accessible room was good apart from having to go through very heavy fire doors to get to room so wouldn't manage alone. Couldn't have a shower due to to there only been a shower seat and not chair. Food at dinner and breakfast was lovely. Service was great at dinner but at breakfast I found one person wouldn't listen when I said no to things. I had carried my breakfast to the table was just about to put onto the table, it was taken out of my hand and put onto table without being me asked to where it nearly dropped on the floor. Handed our key back to reception 2 men working behind the desk seemed lovely but didn't ask how our stay was and just took the key off us. Must add though lady on reception when we arrived and during the evening was very welcoming, very helpful and so were thrle restaurant staff in the evening"

"Friendly and helpful front desk staff who provided tourism ideas on check-in as they weren’t busy. Room had been recently renovated such that there were two outlets on the desk with 1 embedded USB A socket and 1 embedded USB C socket. Ironing board sighted on the wardrobe unit in case visiting for business. Power socket by headboards as well so devices can be charged overnight as well. Desk was decent size so if you needed to do some work, laptop can be opened to work. Slightly thinner desk (ie, not super deep) though so less suitable for work-cation if you need to work from your room the whole day. Small gym in the basement. Would stay again for the convenience of being within walking distance of the station and friendly, helpful staff."

"We had a fantastic stay, great location for visiting the music festival at Delapre Abbey. The room was spacious and clean, staff friendly and helpful. Lots of parking. The breakfast was an additional charge and not the cheapest but very delicious."

"The hotel is next to Lakeside, the surrounding environment is good, the hotel has free parking, the place is large, self-driving does not have to worry about parking. The hotel staff is very warm and friendly."

"It was great stay this hotel. As we coming in the hotel we had a great welcome from the receptionist Kate. She was so lovely and welcoming. The breakfast was very good overall we had a great experience as it was our first time staying at Holiday Inn Express. Thank you. We will definitely book again in the future."

"Great accommodation, it’s was exactly advertised. The food was excellent we experienced the evening menu which was fabulous with lots of choice. Again breakfast was fabulous and the service was outstanding at all points of our stay. Well done and thank you to everyone"

"The hotel is good for a budget stay beside the M1 and has an ideal location. Ensure you witness the staff inputting your registration plate to avoid parking fines. The interior is very tired and could do with a significant update. The bed was comfortable however."

"Lovely hotel easily accesible via the motorway. Good selection of food for breakfast including eggs made to order and waffles which you can make on your own. We attended a wedding close by and when we got back from the party, were really grateful that Hilton had a self-paying kiosk with bottled water and snacks. Will stay here again next time we’re in the area."
