Worthing Hotels with Wifi

"I recently stayed at the Chatsworth Hotel in Worthing. Overall, it offered reasonable value for money, with good service from the staff throughout my visit. The location is excellent – right in the centre of Worthing and just a short walk from the seafront, which made it very convenient. That said, the hotel itself is clearly in need of some renovation. My room felt very dated, and the shower wasn’t particularly practical, with the shower head set so low it was awkward to use. The toiletries situation was also a bit puzzling, as there was only a single dispenser of a purple liquid that could have been either shampoo or body wash – not the most guest-friendly setup. The corridors were another drawback, as they were very dimly lit. The proximity-activated lights only came on when you were practically underneath them, which made walking down the hallway feel rather gloomy. In summary, the Chatsworth offers a great location and good service at a fair price, but the rooms and facilities really do need modernising. With some investment, it could be an excellent place to stay, but at the moment it feels a little tired."

"First time stay , and was very successful the room, bed , shower / bathroom were all on point. We ate in the pub downstairs as well , food was average , fish & chips . Was all slightly over cooked, which was disappointing, but not a surprise. Food is only as good as the person cooking it, so be it frozen , fresh the attention to detail is on the chef/ cook . Didn't take away from the room though or the stay ."

"This was our first time at The Ardington Hotel, it is ideally situated in the centre of Worthing, close to the sea and all amenities. The bedroom was very clean and the large bed was very comfortable. The bathroom although dated was very clean and the shower worked well. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the little cupboard by reception with toiletries in it for guests to access if they had forgotten anything was great. The breakfast selection was excellent and the two breakfasts I had at the property were delicious. The hotel bar was a lovely environment to sit and have a drink in prior to going out for the evening. I would highly recommend The Arrington to other travellers."

"We stopped off at the Coach and Horses with some friends for a one night stay whilst on a short road trip. We had visited Bognor Regis earlier in the day and so arrived at the hotel late afternoon. The hotel is part of the Coach and Horses public house and is easy to find located on the A27. We drove here and there was plenty of (free) parking for patrons. We checked in, in the bar area of the public house and met the owner who seemed very friendly and helpful and after being allocated our rooms we moved to the adjacent (separate) accommodation building which is of much newer construction. Entrance to this building requires a room pass key giving a good level of security. The interior is very clean and contemporary in its decoration, our rooms were located on the first floor and this is reached by a flight of stairs. Our room was a good size, very clean and decorated with light brown walls with a darker brown feature wall behind the bed and a shining white ceiling and windows looking out over the green fields at the rear of the property. The room was furnished with an ornate wooden double bed with bedside cabinets, a table and two chairs, a dressing table with mirror, wardrobe and flat screen TV. A small chest of drawers was also available and complimentary tea and coffee facilities were provided. The room had free Wifi. The bathroom was all tiled and had a bath and shower, basin and toilet and ‘built in’ hair dryer. There was a ledge above the sink giving lots of space for our own toiletries and a heated towel rail, which is always welcome. An electric shaver socket was provided and a small collection of complimentary toiletries were also provided. Everything about the room looked relatively new being both clean and well maintained, it was very welcoming. Being at the rear of the property, there was minimal road noise from the busy A27 and we slept well that night with the windows ajar. Our host was welcoming enough, quite friendly and helpful really and later that evening we dined in the public house (subject of another review), after having an early evening walk along Worthing seafront. We thoroughly enjoyed our (short) stay at the Coach & Horses and would most certainly consider a return visit if we were in need of accommodation in this area. We would not hesitate to recommend this to others."
